the devils nest crew as a whole does not get enough appreciation at all but i think it is a travesty how bido especially does not get much attention and is often left out of art of the group despite being possibly the most important of them in the manga and brotherhood………. like hes both the first and last one we see on screen, his death is the direct instigator for greed getting his memory back, the audience only gets to know him for a short time but (just like the rest of the nest!!) what we DO see of him conveys his personality and priorities so well. especially in the manga!! his introduction and the way he interacts with the elrics, when hes shown standing in the crowd of onlookers as the raid is going on and worrying about greed

when he decides to throw caution to the wind and follow the tiniest shred of a trail to find him again!!! hes terrified out of his mind when he gets into the maze underneath central but he only tries leaving when hes convinced greed isnt there (despite. being wrong about that). hes shown consistently being the type to run away when faced with danger but he actively goes Into it for greed. he loves and cares him so much.  i could opine the virtues of greed/bido as a ship but thats a whole other wall-of-text post. the point is bido has been through so god damn much and the world is a terrifying place when you are a little old man with lizard hands but he works SO hard and look at him hes so happy when he gets some acknowledgement!!!!!

he tried his BEST at ALL times and what did he get for it?? a rude child being classist at him and kicking him in the nose, all his friends dying and him being unable to do anything about it, and the person he trusts the most forgetting who he is and stabbing him.  JUSTICE for bido. there WILL be a bido renaissance 2021 and i will do it by MYSELF if i have to

We really don't give Bido enough credit for his actions in FMAB like this poor little dude was scared out of his mind but Greed meant so much to him that he went into a hellish pursuit anyway. He's not an individual who gets into fights like the rest of the pack do, it's not what he's built for. But fuck if he's not gonna do whatever he can go find Greed again or at least figure out what happened to the boss!! I would die for him, he's a precious little freak.

We all rightly do so much to pay tribute to what Martel, Dorochet, and Roa meant to Greed. But we don't do nearly enough for what Bido also meant to him. And, as a result, what Greed meant to Bido.
