Was she going to regret this later? Maybe. But for now, Evie was just going to get it over with. Tugging on his arm to turn him to face her, she placed a quick kiss on his lips. Releasing him, she turned and walked away, hoping that he won't tease her about it.

Now that was a much more welcomed (and dare he say, expected?) surprise. Sebastian’s eyes widened slightly for a moment as she walked away, but then his face settled into a soft smirk.
