Olisiala au where Olise, a new student with both retrograde and anterograde amnesia (unable to retain memories beyond a week except for those of his parents), meets Jamal and has a meaningful first encounter. The latter, determined to be his friend, learns Olise’s condition and gives him a diary (keeps one for himself) so when his memory resets, he can read what they did and keep proof of Jamal’s existence in his life. (Until things start to get messy and the diary disappears and Jamal disappears with it, and he watches from afar how he turns into a stranger again.)

morning: black coffee, water, maybe a multivitamin. midday: green tea & gum. afternoon: one cucumber slice, if i feel d1zzy. evening: broth or nothing. night: water, ice cubes, peppermint tea.

hung3r hums like a lullaby. and i sleep better when i’m h0ll0w.

i don’t do this every day. but when i need c0ntr0l, this is how i feel safe.
