Okay so, a few weeks ago I stumbled across spikermonster’s https://twitter.com/spikermonster webcomic https://twitter.com/ThoseSpringKids  - long story short, I’m obsessed with their interpretation of Nelson and Lisa, and I’ve fallen in love with the ship too..!! I had to draw some fanart :’-D This took me a good few hours/days to finish! Mostly because I was trying to figure out the damn colour palette, which I always struggle with > v >;; Anyway, if you haven’t read their webcomic already, please go check it out! The art is so nice, a great blend of their own style + The Simpsons style! So cool~~ And the storyline is pretty entertaining so far! And you know me, I love reading fancomics and all that good stuff  B-) b And because I’m me, I even thumbnailed a short 9 page fancomic :’-DDDDD WEE!

Today is the #FirstDayOfSpring in the Northern Hemisphere, also known as the vernal equinox.

#DYK Earth’s tilted axis causes the season? Throughout the year, different parts of Earth receive the Sun’s most direct rays. So, when the North Pole tilts toward the Sun, it’s summer in the Northern Hemisphere. And when the South Pole tilts toward the Sun, it’s winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

These images are of Zinnias. They are part of the flowering crop experiment that began aboard the International Space Station on Nov. 16, 2015, when NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren activated the Veggie system and its rooting “pillows” containing zinnia seeds.
