So thinking that the wall I want to do next with dishes, flatware and glass should be on the wall of a restaurant. If anyone knows a restauranteur who might like an eye catching mural on part of their exterior wall - message me!! Think these places could use a little pizzazz? https://www.instagram.com/p/BrPeDz6nBs1/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1wag9okuotcp

What a creative way to continue to make art with broken musical instruments! Ohio artist Gail Christofferson’s work “See the Music” was selected for display as part of the second annual Bonnaroo-themed art installations at Nashville International Airport.
Christofferson’s “See the Music” is composed of 29 string instruments, including guitars, mandolins, violins, electric guitars and a cello, that have been mosaiced.

7E Guest Artist - Peter Vogel :: Godfather of electronic sculpture
Peter Vogel is a truly innovative German artist born in 1937. He pioneered the idea of turning circuits into sculptures. Formally trained in physics, Peter says his works are “dependent on an active observer” and that “form follows function.” In the ‘60s, he became interested in early electronic music experiments with, synthesizers, tape loops and musique concrète. And, in the late ‘70s he started experimenting with sound structures which are “walls of sound” consisting of electronic components, speakers, and sometimes sensors and synthesizers which react to the viewer.
What a beautiful aesthetic created from electronic components that all of us take for granted daily. We love Peter’s work!

One of the slightly frustrating things about the beautiful underpass mosaics by the Lakeshore trails is the fact that the only way to get a proper shot of the entire thing is to stand out in the middle the road and get hit by a car, and I am not that dedicated to my art.

Superb Animal Sculptures Made From Scrap Metal By Hasan Novrozi
If a steampunk gentleman was to ride a clockwork horse, he would prefer something like the metal sculptures of Hasan Novrozi. This artist who studied in Iran uses all sorts of metal bits and bobs, and scrap metal to make some of the largest pieces his work. Just look how natural both the horse and Pegasus look! And how that’s achieved by making a 3D scrap metal collage – the attention to detail and artistic vision is astounding. Of course, this doesn’t stop Hasan from making more conventional metal art, from parts shaped and welded to fit. The eagle is particularly impressive, so dynamic and natural! One can definitely get the impression that it is about to take off.Just like the metal Pegasus.
