so this was Spamton's old changing room right

it wasnt always the Z rank room. it used to be the room for his partner. the one who meant everything to him

Tenna probably looked in the room for the last time right after Spamton disappeared. he probably smashed the mirror in distraught rage when he realized Spamton was truly gone. and he unplugged the phone, the thing that had taken his partner from him

he never took down their posters, never removed the phone, maybe in the vain hope that Spamton would come back one day

but he couldnt face the room anymore. thats why he hid it and left it to rot. he couldnt face it himself, but he also couldnt bear the idea of anyone else going in his special partner's room, so it never had any renovation or repairs

both Tenna and Spamton materialized their grief into hatred. they try to hate each other to avoid how they feel about each other. but of course, they still care. they just cant face it
