Cg! Mel x regressor! Viktor headcanons

Mama bunny and baby kitten :3 hehe this is veryy self indulgent bc I love MelVik (especially when it’s wlw oooo)

🌸Viktor and Mel first met when Viktor was Heimerdingers assistant. She was drawn in by his snarky yet demure nature, but the more she stuck around more nuances came out. Viktor was cute and interesting how could Mel not help herself. Most of the time they would giggle and gossip about different council members or Heimerdinger.

🌸Similar to Jayce, Mel found out about Viktor’s regression by accident.

•It had been a couple of days since she last saw the brunette. Normally she wouldn’t be too worried, knowing that he had academics and sciencing to busy his mind with. But something in her gut was telling her otherwise… Viktor wasn’t even with Heimerdinger today, maybe he was having a bad pain day. All the more to visit him!

The ravenette wondered through the academy dorms, she had been to his once or twice remembering it was a sad little place. She knocked, waiting but no answer, knocking again to more radio silence. sighing, she hated to invade on Viktor’s privacy but the little voice in the back of Mel’s head was saying the worst. Mel bent down, pulling a pin from her hair and skillfully picking the lock. knocking again just in case before opening the door.

It was dark and the air smelled stale. Viktor’s room was relatively clean, his desk was another story. Mel peered around, spotting a lump on the bed underneath a heap of blankets.

“Viktor..?” She calls out wearily, soon his head peaks out from the pile of blankets, looking at her with his big doe eyes. His nose scrunched up at the sight of her, confused.

“Mel?….” Viktor’s voice was small.

“Listen…im sorry for breaking into your dorm…but I was just worried.” She sighs “I haven’t seen you all week..”

Viktor Bit his lip, he was feeling abnormally weak and small. His brain wasn’t fully functioning, it was odd what happened to him and he didn’t fully understand it… English wasn’t his strong suit currently.

“I…em..” the brunette tried Mel only frowned stepping closer and sitting on his bed, it felt like she was crossing a boundary but she was worried for the pale boy.

“Are you feeling alright…?” speaking softly, swiping away the chocolate brown bangs from his face. He sighed leaning into her hand, struggling to get his thoughts in order.

“Em…small..” he mumbled, feeling ashamed of having this side of himself exposed to someone like Mel.

Her brows furrowed lightly at his confession, she didn’t exactly understand but wanted to help nonetheless.

“Okay… well can I get you anything? Water?” The brunette hummed, taking a shaky hand from under the covers and pointing to the humble kitchenette mini fridge.

“Milk…”

She simply nodded walking over and opening the small fridge. It was sparse, a few containers that held who knows what, but lo and behold a glass jar of milk sat on the top shelf. She looked around for a cup, spotting a (hopefully) clean one from the cabinet above and carefully poured just enough of the creamy liquid before going back over to the poor boy.

“Here you are.” She smiled as Vik took it in his shaky grasp “oh- careful…” steadying his grasp with her own, essentially lifting it for him. He reminded her of a hungry kitten, sad and desperate.

🌸Mel was confused by Viktor’s demeanor after that day. Doing her own private research she deduced his condition. The woman doubted that Viktor fully understood that he was regressing, but nonetheless it was heartwarming being able to help him.

🌸It took a while, and plenty of sweet milk for Mel to gain the trust of the little. Very similar to that of a cat. Oh! But once she did she fell in love.

🌸Viktor loves to lay on her lap as she strokes through his hair, his locks curling around her nimble fingers in a delicate way. He hummed lowly in a way that sounded like purring.

🌸Mel is a very silly caregiver, bouncing little Viky on her lap and making goofy noises that make him giggle.

• “baby, baby, baby” Mel repeats happily, bouncing Viktor up and down on her lap. The little pouted, whining softly.

“D’aw… what happened Viki? You were just giggling.” She intern pouts, continuing to bounce him kissing his cheeks softly. That finally drew a small smile.

“There we are.”

🌸While Viktor isn’t exactly the most artistically inclined Mel always tries to get him to draw when regressed. She’s very proud of the stick figure or boat drawings, hanging them up in her office and smiling fondly when seeing them.

🌸She so very wishes to brag and show off tiny Viktor, but at the same time deeply respecting his boundaries of not wanting others to know of his regression.

🌸Much like Jayce, Mel lovess to spoil him. Helping the little to seconds at dinner, multiple bottles, and of course plenty of stuffies.

• “I got you another kitty. And look! A waverider!” She smiled, moving around the soft amphibian stuffy around the littles face.

“Rio…” he mumbled, taking the toy from her.

“Is that her name?” Mel brings him close to her, watching as Vik snuggles into her warmth cuddling his new friend close.

(She very much reminds me of that clip of Lois from family guy going “yay toy” :3)

🌸Mel is a very clean woman, and so Viktor’s personal hygiene routine frankly frightened her. She had instructed and shown adult Viktor things like dry brushing, body scrubs, body oils, ect. Apparently only using a bar of soap, even for his hair… wasn’t enough. The first time he had done Mel’s full shower routine he felt like a freshly cleaned and plucked chicken.

🌸therefore, Mel enjoys bath time. Relief at finally being able to shampoo, and condition! Vicki’s hair. She uses baby soap and shampoo, only the best! No longer did he smell of gear oil, and now a sweet baby :). And being able to playfully splash him :p.

🌸Viktor cannot be separated from his blankie. Everytime Mel notices signs of Viktor’s regression she happily retrieves his prized blankie. Wrapping it around him tightly, holding him and stroking his soft hair.

🌸hehe Viktor often tugs and pulls at his mummy’s necklaces and earrings. He can’t help it! It’s sooo shiny and he wants to see, it also reminds him of the hexcore all shiny and sparkly. She finds it hard to discipline him, Vik can’t help that he’s curious.

🌸If Viki is sick or is having a bad pain day Mel has everything he’ll need! She basically has to barricade him in bed, no, sick littles can’t play with their boats, you need rest!

• “you need to stay in bed little one.” The caregiver tucks the blankets around the poor little. Viktor wiggles mewing softly in protest. She can’t help but giggle at his antics.

“Cranky Kitty” she makes rio kiss vik’s face. “Viki it’s Rio” Mel smiles making silly noises for the stuffy that make him giggle.

“I’m sooo sleepy…but I don’t wanna sleep alone…Vikiii” she puts on a goofy voice for Rio, plastering a big grin on the poor sick little.

Vik makes grabby hands for the waverider, cuddling her close.

“Will you finally rest now?” The caregiver tries only to sigh once hearing the little hums from Viktor.

🌸She gives him plenty of medicine, rubs Vicks on his chest, and lots of nice smelling essential oils on him. Making sure he’s well hydrated too! As well as lots of cuddles, making sure he has his leg warmers on and compression socks!

🌸Mel loves dressing him in cute baby clothes, cooing at how cute he is. Viki is such a cute kitty!!! Putting him in cute onesies with intricate star embroidery. Or frilly socks!! Viktor’s least favorite is the kitty ears or the bonnets, whining and mewing demanding them off.

🌸When he’s being a fussy kitty she can usually tell what it’s about by reading his face. His lip pouts and he whines high pitched when he wants a bottle or his blankie. His brows furrow and nose scrunches when he needs a change. And more often than not he’ll nip her when he wants to sleep, or play!

🌸ohhh Jayce and Mel are very competitive over Viktor’s attention hehe. Fighting over who gets to feed him, or who gets to do bath time. Bed time is the biggest fight of all. Jayce always wants to bottle feed Viktor, but so does Mel!

🌸Viktor sleeps with his head on Mel’s chest, her hands in his hair. All while Jayce cuddles him like a stuffy. Jayce tries not to get upset when he wakes up and sees that Mel now has the little fully on her, holding him protectively close.

🌸When Mel has days off from council duty’s and Viktor is regressed she’ll take him to a pond in one of the many parks in Piltover, making sure to slather sunscreen on his pasty skin. She’ll sit on a blanket and watch as he plays with his boat in the pond or catch cool bugs for her.

•Um… She isn’t the biggest fan of the bugs he brings back.

“Oh…wow so cool Viki…” she praises him wearily

“Hmm…look mummy it’s shiny.” He smiles, shoving the beetle closer to her face.

rearing back “oh! How delightful…but, how about we put her back? She has a home.” The ravenette tries to redirect the little.

“Hmn…” he hums placing the bug back into the grass.

🌸ooo on some occasions she’ll let him do her makeup. Little Viki is very intrigued by her many cosmetics. He does a…messy job. But Mel thinks the attempt is cute! Praising him for his choice of colors.

🌸Viktor is so light that Mel can basically carry him, not for long period time, but Vik loves it when she does. Taking weight off of his bad leg, and also being able to nuzzle against his caregiver.

🌸Most of her condo is carpeted so she doesn’t really have any issue in letting him crawl around. But oh boy can he vanish in a minute. Leading to poor Mel having to search around for him. She ends up having to put a bell on her kitty so she knows where he is :3.

🌸When painting she likes to have Viktor close. The little is mesmerized by the dutiful strokes of the paintbrush across the canvas. Ooo sometimes she even lets him add his own touches to the painting.

🌸oh boy…when her mother is in town Mel tries her BEST to keep Viktor far away from her knowing Ambessa’s track record for…attraction… Viktor gets to spend however long with Jayce, much to his joy.

🌸Mel likes to put on little shows for Viktor with puppets or his stuffies, being pretty decent at doing character voices.

🌸She is very protective over Viktor!! Willingly arguing with Jayce over being able to care for the little. All she wants to do is make sure Viktor is happy and (relatively) healthy.

🌸Bedtime is serious business, she wants no cranky kitties! Vik never seems to want to sleep, but as soon as he’s curled up with Mel, wrapped in his blankie, warm Jammie’s, and fed a bottle, he’s drooling on her silk nightgown passed out cold.

• “sleepy Viki…” soothing softly over his back as he sucks softly on his binky, eyes barely even open. Mummy is so warm and soft it’s hard for him to stay awake.

Mel softly rocks him, shushing gently. At this point she (and Jayce) are kitten experts. Knowing all the ways to get the usually sleep deprived brunette down for a nap in no time.

“It’s okay…you can fall asleep silly.” Smiling, knowing that he fought falling asleep often. She watched as Vik’s sleepy doe eyes fell shut, snuggling more against her.
