“To insult a believer is a gross iniquity, to kill him is infidelity, and to backbite him is an act of disobedience of Allah.”

لَيْسَ مِنّا مَنْ غَشَّ مُسْلِماً أَوْ ضَرَّهُ أَوْ ما كَرَهُ

Imam Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) said:

One who defrauds or causes a loss to a Muslim or tricks him, does not belong to us

إِعْمَلْ لِدُنْياكَ كَأَنَّكَ تَعِيشُ أَبَداً وَ إِعْمَلْ لاِخِرَتِكَ كَأَنَّك تَمُوتُ غَدَاً

Imam Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) said:

Work for the world as if you would be alive forever, and work for the hereafter as if you would die tomorrow!

أَسْوَءُ النّاسِ مَعَاشاً مَنْ لَمْ يَعِشْ غَيْرَهُ فِى مَعاشِهِ

Imam Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) said:

The worst people, from an economic viewpoint, are those who do not offer livelihood to others from their own livelihood, and others are excluded from their life

إنّا أَهْلُ بَيْت نَرَى وَعْدَنا عَلَيْنا دَيْناً كَما صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ(ص)

Imam Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) said:

We are the household who consider our promises as our debts; as did the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny)

إنَّ اللّه تَعالَى لَمْ يَجْعَلِ الْقُرآنَ لِزَمان دُوْنَ زَمان وَ لا لِناس دُوْنَ ناس فَهُوَ فِى كُلِّ زمانِ جَدِيدٌ وَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ قَوْم غَضٌّ إلى يَوْمِ الْقِيامَةِ

Imam Ar-Ridha’ (a.s.) said:

God has not confined the Holy Qur’an to a specific time or for a specific nation, and so it is new at all times and fresh for all nations
