“ᛁ ᛞᛟᚾᛏ ᚴᚾᛟᚹ” is the next thing I here from the new guy that just showed up and man was he a unit at a glance I would say he was 7 feet tall and in the 300-350 pounds range and he looks mad even though there was bars in between us I was still intimidated he looks me up and down terns to Hiccup and starts talking “ᚹᚺᚤ ᛁᛋ ᚺᛖ ᛁᚾ ᛏᚺᛖᚱᛖ ᚹᛁᛏᚺ ᚨ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ” he says to Hiccup he quickly gets a response from Hiccup “ᚹᚺᛖᚾ ᛖᚡᛖᚱ ᚹᛖ ᛏᚱᚤ ᚨᚾᛞ ᛋᛖᛈᚨᚱᚨᛏᛖ ᛏᚺᛖᛗ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚾᛁᚷᚺᛏ ᚠᚢᚱᚤ ᚹᛟᚢᛚᛞ ᛚᛟᛋᛋ ᛁᛏ ᚨᚾᛞ ᛏᚱᚤ ᚨᚾᛞ ᚴᛁᛚᛚ ᚢᛋ” although is seems he didn’t like that response because he he then says in a more annoyed tone “ᛏᚺᛖ ᚲᚨᚷᛖᛋ ᚨᚱᛖ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾᛈᚱᛟᛟᚠ” which if I had to guess Hiccup didn’t like either because he then says “ᛁ ᛞᛁᛞᚾᛏ ᚹᚨᚾᛏ ᛏᛟ ᛈᚢᛏ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ ᚢᚾᛞᛖᚱ ᛏᚺᚨᛏ ᛗᚢᚲᚺ ᛋᛏᚱᛖᛋᛋ” it is at that point I decide to figure out what is going on so I bang on the bars everyone looks over to me as I gesture for some paper they hand it to and and look inpatient as I ask why they are here I then hand it to them after a while I guess they finish translating it and the new guy tells the one who has been translating them something and then he starts writing after a while he hands me a new note and now I know the name of the new guy name is Stoick he is the chief of there tribe and he is here to get some answers my best guess is that they don’t believe me which is fair if I was in there position I wouldn’t believie me either but I really don’t know what else to say so on my next note I say as much so on my note I say as much “I understand why you don’t believe me I wouldn’t either but that is the truth and no matter what you do that will be the truth” I handed them the note and the Fishlegs gets to work on translating it all the while Stoick looms over him after a bit it would seen seem he had finished translating it would seen how ever that he didn’t like that response  but right before he could act on this annoyance Hiccup stepped in “ᛞᚨᛞ ᛁᛏ ᛁᛋ ᛈᛟᛋᛋᛁᛒᛚᛖ ᛏᚺᚨᛏ ᚺᛖ ᚹᚨᛋ ᚱᛁᛞᛞᛁᚾᚷ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ ᚠᛖᛚᛚ ᛟᚠᚠ ᚨᚾᛞ ᛚᛟᛋᛏ ᚺᛁᛋ ᛗᛖᛗᛟᚱᚤ” he said to Stoick “ᚺᛖ ᚺᚨᛋ ᚨ ᛈᛟᛁᚾᛏ ᚲᚺᛁᛖᚠ ᛁᚠ ᚺᛖ ᚺᛁᛏ ᚺᛁᛋ ᚺᛖᚨᛞ ᚹᚺᛖᚾ ᚺᛖ ᚠᛖᛚᛚ ᛟᚠᚠ ᚺᛁᛋ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ ᚨᚾᛞ ᚺᛁᛋ ᚹᚺᛟᛚᛖ ᚠᚱᛟᛗ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚠᚢᛏᚢᚱᛖ ᛋᛏᚢᚠᚠ ᛁᛋ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚱᛖᛋᚢᛚᛏ” said Fishlegs one then Stoick turned to him and glared “ᚪᚾᛞ ᛁ ᚪᛗ ᚷᚩᛁᛝ ᛏᚩ ᚳᚢᛁᛏᛖ ᛞᚩᚹᚾ” was the next thing he said then Stoick to Hiccup and said “ᛚᛖᛏ× ᚨᛊᚲ ᚷᛟᛏᚺᛁ ᛊᚺᛖ ᚹᛁᛚᛚ ᚲᚾᛟᚹ ᛁᚠ ᚦᛁᛊ ᚺᛟᛚᛖ ᚠᚢᛏᚢᚱᛖ ᛒᚢᛊᛁᚾᛖᛊᛊ ᛁᛊ ᚾᛟᚾᛊᛖᚾᛊᛖ” to which Hiccup said  “ᛏᚺᚨᛏ ᚹᛟᚢᛚᛞ ᚹᛟᚱᚲ ᛖᚲᛊᚲᛖᛈᛏ ᛏᚺᚨᛏ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ ᚹᛟᚾᛏ ᚢᛊ ᚾᛖᚱ ᚺᛁᛗ”

I was quite surprised then I sit down beside him and looked out at my captors and then I noticed something the girl and Hiccup are very close and her tone is always much lighter with him then the others I realize they like each other or at least I think they do it’s to based on tone and body language alone but they seem to be much closer and seem to use softer tone with each other or I am over analyzing things then I look over to Stormshadow and notice something his teeth are gone I run over and to write a note my new friends teeth are gone what's happening then I bang on the bars and pass it through then they translate and I can see them chuckle then the Fishleds turns to Hiccup and says “ᛁ ᚷᚢᛖᛋᛋ ᚹᛖ ᛋᚺᛟᚢᛚᛞ ᚺᚨᚡᛖ ᛗᛖᚾᛏᛁᛟᚾᛖᛞ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚱᛖᛏᚱᚨᚲᛏᛁᛒᛚᛖ ᛏᛖᛖᛏᚺ” “ᚤᛖᚨᚺ ᚹᛖ ᛈᚱᛟᛒᚨᛒᛚᚤ ᛋᚺᛟᚢᛚᛞ ᚺᚨᚡᛖ” says Hiccup then they write a note and slide it through the bars and on that note was something I wish I was told sooner Stormshadow’s teeth are retractable but I know that now but I do have another question so I grab some paper and ask where am I so I give it to them then after a few minutes I get my answer but it dosen’t help me they tell me that I am on Berk my guess is that is what the locals call the island so I write down asking what is the clostest country but when I asume they have it translated they stair at it for a minute then they wrote there respoons and hand it to me it reads what does country mean? I laugh to myself then I write my respoons it’s 2024 how do you not know what a country is and give it to them them and once they are done translation it there is a look of shock on there faces and they give a note asking me to write the year so I did then I give them the note and they are shocked then they write a note that I don’t ever think I’ll forget what it said the year is 1000 

“Oh my gods” said Fishlegs “is that even possible” asks Astrid “I need to go find my my dad” said Hiccup as he got on Toothless and flew off to find his dad after a short flight he sees Gobber he landed got off Toothless “Gobber have you seen my dad?” asked Hiccup “yes he was heading down to the docks why?” responds Gobber “I need to talk to him” says Hiccup as he got on Toothless and flew off heading to the docks after a short flight he landed and ran over to his father “dad we need to talk” said Hiccup “not now Hiccup I’m helping Sven with his boat” said Stoick “dad it’s about the prisoner” said Hiccup Stoick turned around and looked Hiccup in the eyes “the one in the who was found in the woods with a nightfury?” asked Stoick “yes” said Hiccup “well spit it out” said Stoick “ he is from the future” said Hiccup Stoick stood there for a minute not moving, talking or even breathing “what?” said Stoick “he says he is from the year 2024” explained Hiccup “take me to him” said Stoick in a soft tone “hop on” said Hiccup after a short flight there were back at the academy when they walk in Fishlegs is freaking out “oh gods oh gods” he says as he paced back and forth “calm down” says Stoick “there is no way this is real” “then why are you here” asks Fishlegs “to get the truth” says Stoick “what if he is telling the truth?” asks Fishlegs

 then I remembered they they can’t understand me so I just smiled at them then they closed the gate and left I felt to see if the bones where still there and they were as Stormshadow scarfed down his food as I started to remove the bones by the time I was finished he had eaten all of his fish I started eating the fish Stormshadow made himself comfortable by the time I had finished eating he was asleep I started to wonder around and found the softest spot of the hard floor and started to fall asleep when my whole cell was lighten up then the bang of the lighting came just then it started to pour and Stormshadow was backed up into a corner so I went over to comfort him I start to scratch him behind what I think is his ears and just like my dog he loved it and started to calm down and go back to sleep I decide to sleep on the ground next to him keeping my hand on him to keep him calm as the time passes I start to hear him snore and boy is it loud but that not my main concern because at that moment I heard metal clang to the ground amongst the sound of rain I look out to see someone but it’s too dark to tell but they looked maybe like they had the same build as Hiccup but that was about all I could gather because they ran away quickly it would seem that Stormshadow isn’t the deepest sleeper because he sprang up and started to look around “sh sh it’s ok you can go back to sleep” after I say this he looks back at me with the same eyes as before and starts to blast the floor to heat it up again as he does this I start to lay down but then he pulls me over and makes a sound and I guess that he wants me to put my hand on him again so I do and he makes a noise that sounds like a cat purring and starts to go back to sleep so I lay down beside him keeping my and hand him the rain doesn’t show any sign of ending but that ok so I close my eyes and fall asleep the next morning I get woken up by the sound of someone banging on the bars I open my eyes to see the same guy with the bucket on his head that gave me the soup this time he has I basket next to him along with the soup then the cage opened just enough so he can bring the bag in he then hands me the soup then walks over to Stormshadow who is starting to wake up but then when the guy tries to place it in front of him he starts to growl which seems to startle him because he drop the basket I walk over and place my hand on him which seems to calm him down the guy must have been more startled than I thought because when I look back over the cage is closing I walk over to the bag and open it and it is full of fish I try to pick it up but it’s to heavy so I just call him over and let him dig in then I start to eat the soup when I hear a loud bang and drop the soup after only getting one sip

As I sat there in my new accommodation trying to stay as far away from the dragon as possible I couldn’t help but wonder how the hell I ended up in this situation not even two days ago the most taxing thing I was doing was roles of wrestling now I have run for my life twice in the last two days it’s funny how quickly things can change as I pondered this another note came through the bars it was written in the same neat handwriting as all the others and had another question what is your dragons name and where did you find it? I sighed because I had already explained it so I wrote it down again I don’t know this dragon I found it in a cave gave it some fish I have never met it before today as I handed them the note they got right to translating after a moment I heard them talking I assume about my note “ᛏᚺᛖᚱᛖ ᛁᛋ ᚾᛟ ᚹᚨᚤ ᛏᚺᚨᛏ ᚺᛖ ᛃᚢᛋᛏ ᛗᛖᛏ ᛏᚺᚨᛏ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ” “ᛁ ᛞᛟᚾ'ᛏ ᚴᚾᛟᚹ ᚨᛋᛏᚱᛁᛞ ᚺᛖ ᛋᛖᛖᛗᛋ ᛈᚱᛖᛏᛏᚤ ᚠᚱᛖᚨᚴᛖᛞ ᛟᚢᛏ ᛒᛖᛁᚾᚷ ᛁᚾ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚲᚨᚷᛖ ᚹᛁᛏᚺ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ” “ᛁ ᚺᚨᚡᛖ ᛏᛟ ᚨᚷᚱᛖᛖ ᚹᛁᛏᚺ ᚺᛁᚲᚲᚢᛈ ᚨᛋᛏᚱᛁᛞ ᚺᛖ ᛋᛖᛖᛗᛋ ᛏᛟ ᛒᛖ ᛏᛖᚱᚱᛁᚠᛁᛖᛞ ᛟᚠ ᛁᛏ” my best guess is that they don’t believe me more specifically the girl doesn’t or the two guys don’t hard to tell but considering how the girl has acted before I assume it’s her that doesn’t believe me as I sat there I looked over at the dragon and realized that it was walking right towards me I tried to move away but I was as already against the wall I stuck my hands out I screamed out “no no please” as I closed my eyes and accepted my fate I felt something touch my hand it was dry and it had bumps all over I opened my eyes to see that it had leaned it’s head into my hand I looked over to see that the people had started to run over but stopped in there tracks I looked back to the dragon and start to scratch under it’s chin it seemed to like it as it’s irises grew and it looked at me just like how my dog did when I did when I did it to her “I guess you aren’t as scarey as you look” I say “what to call you” just then a bolt of lighting struck and it ran into the shadows and was effectively invisible “looks like you stormed into the shadows” I say chuckleing slightly “that’s it Stormshadow how do you like that Stormshadow?” I say as it comes out of the shadows it seems to like it because it ran over looking for more scratches “okay Stormshadow that’s your new name” I say as another note came through the bars we have to go inside because of the storm we will continue this discussion tomorrow as Fishlegs handed me this note my stomach groaned I put my hand up and motion him to stop and I write another note can I please get some food I’ve been running all day as I hand it to him he started to translate it right away then he showed it to his friends then the girl promptly said “ᛁᛏᛋ ᚺᛁᛋ ᛟᚹᚾ ᚠᚨᚢᛚᛏ ᚺᛖᛋ ᚺᚢᚾᚷᚱᚤ” to which Hiccup responded “ᚨᛋᛏᚱᛁᛞ ᚹᛖ ᚨᚱᛖᚾᛏ ᚷᛟᛁᚾᚷ ᛏᛟ ᛋᛏᚨᚱᚡᛖ ᚺᛁᛗ ᛒᛖᛋᛁᛞᛖ ᚺᛁᛋ ᛞᚱᚨᚷᛟᚾ ᛁᛋ ᛈᚱᛟᛒᚨᛒᛚᚤ ᚺᚢᚾᚷᚱᚤ ᛏᛟ”  then they left I thought that they were going to let me starve but them they come back with one big basket of fish and a plate with two cooked fish as they handed me the fish I did what I always did when I was handed food and said “thank you”

“that's cool and all but you can get your nerd numbers on your own if anyone but that guy get near it it tries to eat you” says Tuffnut “he must be quick to get to that cave and train it before we found him” says Fishlegs “I think he already knew the dragon he was walking out the cave with his hands up kind of like what you did when you first meet Toothless” says Astrid “that might explain how the earliest scent was on the top of a tree he fell on there from his dragon” states Hiccup “but why not just land in town” asks Fishlegs “maybe he though we stilled killed dragons?” guessed Hiccup “then why was his dragon looting ships?” asks Astrid “why don’t we just ask him?” proposed Hiccup “what exactly should we ask him?” asks Fishlegs “how about what is his dragon's name and where did he find it” says Hiccup “I’ll get to it” says Fishlegs as he got to work Hiccup looked down at the guy and the Night Fury.

“We put him in a cage with the Night Fury” says Tuffnut “and why would you do that?” asks Astrid in an annoyed tone “because the dragon tried to rip our heads off when we separated them” explains Tuffnut “how long do you think the Night Fury was in that cave for Fishlegs?” asks Hiccup “looking at the cave I would say in a few weeks I think we found our mystery dragon” Fishlegs says “how do you think our guest found him?” Hiccup asks Fishlegs “guest? guest? why are we talking about him like he isn’t a spy he ran away” says Astrid sounding like she was ready to kill him “Astrid he was scared Ruff and Tuff almost killed him” says Hiccup “then why did he hide?” asks Astrid “you almost killed him” says Hiccup “I wasn’t trying to” says Astrid “look he is in an unfamiliar place he is going to be jumpy we need to be more patient with him” he responds “HE IS A SPY WHY ARE YOU SO BLIND TO THIS” yells Astrid “fine get on Stormfly and try to figure out how he got on the island” says Hiccup Astrid left without a word then he turns to Fishlegs “can you write a note ask him how he found the Night Fury” “ok” says Fishlegs as he left to get the translation sheet once he came back he started to work on the note he looks at the guy in the cage with the dragon “who knew that there was another Night Fury so close eh bud” says Hiccup to Toothless to which he received an approving growl from Toothless then after a bit Fishlegs finished his note and they gave it to him “this is the most complicated note yet I hope that he can read it” says Fishlegs “I’m sure he will” says Hiccup after handing the note, some parchment and a pencil to him they wait a moment to see what he writes then they wait as he write his response then he hands it to them then Fishlegs takes it to translate then after a moment he get the response “he says that he fallowed a map to the cave where he met the dragon he gave it a fish then it saved him” explains Fishlegs “map did he have a map in his bag when we grabbed him?” asks Hiccup “I don’t know I never checked we can ask Astrid when she gets back” responds Fishlegs “and then there’s the bag” says Hiccup “what about it” asks Fishlegs “this symbol on it have you ever seen anything like it” asks Hiccup “no but look at the bottom there it looks like writing in Latin but he doesn’t seem to know Latin” says Fishlegs “add that to the list of things we need to ask Johann when he gets back” states Hiccup later after Astrid returned Hiccup ran over to talk to her “hey Astrid so where did you track him to?” “Stormfly just kept bringing me back to the same tree with a bunch of broken branches. He must have been on the island for a long time,” explained Astrid. “weird hey when you first found him did you check his bag?” asks Hiccup “yes why?” asks Astrid  “well I wanted to ask if he had a map in his bag when you grabbed him?” asks Hiccup “yes why?” asks Astrid “because that map led him to the Night Fury” explains Hiccup “oh and Astrid don’t go out on dragon patrol until further notice” says Hiccup “why” asked Astrid “because I think we found our mystery dragon” explains Hiccup “that’s why we couldn’t catch it it was to quick and even when we got near it it always ducked into a cave and blended in perfectly” says Astrid “Hiccup this is amazing another Night Fury to study it looks smaller than Toothless it must be younger than him” says Fishlegs

I felt the wind on my face I wasn’t surprised getting pushed down the stairs was normal I closed my eyes and waited for my face to hit the stairs but instead I felt something hit my gut I opened my eyes to see that I was on top of a tree laying on a branch before I had time to process what was happening I heard a crack as I fell down I had one question how did I get here? As I fell I got lucky or unlucky depending on how you look at it because I seemed to hit every branch on the way down. As I hit the earth I heard my back crack after a moment I stood up every part of my body aching I checked to make sure I was still intact I did notice that my watch, backpack, phone and wallet was gone however I did have a bag with my family crest on it and there was my multi-tool, a fish and a weird piece of paper I was going to get rid of the fish but something told my to hang on to it I looked around all but I could see was trees I walked around trying to find anything at one point I thought I heard the sound of wings flapping but it was to big so I kept on walking then a familiar feeling getting pushed to the ground I turn to see who pushed me I am met by two things one a pretty blond girl and her ax to my head she yells “ᚹᚺᛟ ᚨᚱᛖ ᛁᛟᚢ?” “what?” I say

“ᚹᚺᛟ ᚨᚱᛖ ᛁᛟᚢ?” she states again “what are you saying?” I ask she lowers her ax then yells “ᛊᛏᛟᚱᛗᚠᛚᛁ ᚺᛖᛚᛈ ᛚᛟᛟᛊᛖᚾ ᚺᛁᛊ ᛏᛟᛜᚢᛖ” then I heard the flapping wings again and that’s when I first saw it looked like it was 10 feet tall with blue and yellow coloring a large head with spikes poking out looking like a crown and a long tail covered with spikes spikes in a panic I got up and start running I hear her sigh but I don’t hear her running after me which was good news to me after running for a few minutes I find a small cove with on pond in the center I heard the wings flap as I heard at that I jumped down but before I hit the water I feel something grab my arms as I look around I see that the beast had grabbed my arms I yelled and thrashed to no avail after a few minutes I found myself in an odd looking town there are many more of these beastes of all shapes and colors after we land I got thrown into a cell after a while I can hear some talking but I have no idea what they are saying it sound like there were three of them but it’s hard to tell then they walk up to me I can see three people the girl I met in the woods and two guy’s a big a pretty husky guy and a small skinny one he looks like the leader then he speaks to me in a kind tone “ᚺᛁ ᛗᛁ ᚾᚨᛗᛖ ᛁᛊ ᚺᛁᚲᚲᚢᛈ ᚦᛁᛊ ᛁᛊ ᚠᛁᛊᚺᛚᛖᚷᛊ ᚨᚾᛞ ᛁᛟᚢ ᚺᚨᚢᛖ ᚨᛚᚱᛖᛞᛁ ᛗᛖᛏ ᚨᛊᛏᚱᛁᛞ ᚲᚨᚾ ᛁᛟᚢ ᛈᛚᛖᛊᛖ ᛗᛖ ᛁᛟᚢᚱ ᚾᚨᛗᛖ” though I am thankful that he doesn’t threaten me with an ax but I still can’t understand him I know he probably can’t understand me so I try to use hand gestures to talk to him I put my hand to my chest “I” shake my head “can’t” tap my head “understand” then I point to him “you” He seems to understand this then goes and talks with his friends.

“Astrid, where did you find him?” Hiccup asks “wandering in the woods” recounts Astrid “I was out patrolling for that mystery dragon when I saw him wandering in the woods when I asked him who he was he ran” Astrid says “Astrid how exactly did you ask him?” Hiccup asks again with a mild tone of skepticism “I pushed him to the ground held my ax to his head then after I asked him twice I called Stormfly to help loosen his lips and then he ran” she says “oh of course he ran because he wanted to keep a secret not because you scared him” says Fishlegs says in a sarcastic tone “I have to agree with Fishlegs Astrid you likely scared him did he say anything?” Hiccup asks “maybe he was yelling something but I couldn’t understand him” she says “well let’s talk to him” says Hiccup after the reach the cell Hiccups speaks to him “hi my name is Hiccup this is Fishlegs and you already met Astrid can you please tell me your name” he waits for a response but he look at them confused after thinking for a moment he start to move his hands he points to himself then he shakes his head taps his head then points at him he can understands what he is trying to say then he turns around and talks to his friends “I don’t think he understands us” says Hiccup “then how do we talk to him” asks Astrid he thinks on this for a while then it hit him “Johann!” he blurts out “he speaks tons of languages from in and outside the Archipelago I bet he will be able to talk to him, Astrid race down to the docks and try to catch him before he goes " "got it” says Astrid on her way out the door.

As I sat there I saw the girl run out though I didn’t think they were going to hurt me but after my first meeting them almost ended in having my head cut off I knew I needed a way out if I decided that I needed to get the @#$& out of here so I started to look at the lock it had a very large hole for a lock I could probably pick is with a nail and wire from the bucket in my cell  I would have used my multi-tool but they took my bag when they threw me is this cell then after a little bit I saw the girl come back accompanied with a tall ish guy with a brown beard and an odd outfit he comes in and talks to the short one after a bit he turn to me and started talking in what I think is spanish to me “hola puedes entenderme” “are you trying to talk to me?” I ask “yes” he says “so who are you?” I ask “I am trader Johann and you” he asks “I am Patrick” then the short guy talks to him “ᚳᚪᚾ ᛁᚩᚢ ᚢᚾᛞᛖᚱᛋᛏᚪᚾᛞ ᚻᛁᛗ” “ᚤᛖᛋ” says Johann which I assume is a response then the short guy says “ᚲᚨᚾ ᛁᛟᚢ ᚨᛊᚲ ᚺᛁᛗ ᚺᛟᚹ ᚺᛖ ᚷᛟᛏ ᚺᛖᚱᛖ” to Johann to which he responds “ᚹᚺᚤ ᛟᚠ ᚲᛟᚢᚱᛋᛖ ᛗᚨᛋᛏᛖᚱ ᚺᛁᚲᚲᚢᛈ” then he turned to me “they would like to know how you got here” “that makes two of us” I state “ what do you mean” he asks “one minute I am falling down the stairs the next I’m on top of a tree then the first person I meet tried to take my head and not to mention the massive lizards with wings so yeah not my day” I explain to him” you mean the dragons” ask Johann with a confused tone “yes why are you acting like this is normal?” I ask him “because dragons are very common animals” he says “not where I’m from where I come from there a myth” I say “fascinating” he says then the short guy talks to him “ᚹᛖᛚᛚ ᚺᛟᚹ ᛞᛁᛞ ᚺᛖ ᚷᛖᛏ ᚺᛖᚱᛖ?”

Hiccup is relieved that his plan is working. He would like to be clued in on how this guy got here and asks Johann “well how did he get here?” “he doesn’t know” he responds “what do you mean he doesn’t know?” asks Hiccup “he says that one minute he was falling down the stairs and the next he has on top of a tree as well where he comes from dragons are a myth” repeats Johann Astrid is laughing in the coroner “that is the worst story I have ever heard I just fell on the top of a tree” “I do agree miss Astrid this is rather odd however I do have other island I have to visit so this will have to wait for another time” says Johann “wait Johann is there a form of writing with his language?” asks Hiccup frantically “yes” answers Johann “can you quickly write a sheet so that we can talk to him through writing” asks Hiccup “why of course could you give me some parchment” answers Johann to which he does Hiccup thanks him then has Astrid give him a ride to the docks then after a little bit Hiccup gives him a note with a simple message “Hi I am Hiccup what is your name?” then a note came back “I am Patrick where am I?” after some translating which was finished right when Astrid got back she read the note “don’t tell him” she states “why” ask Hiccup “we still don’t know why he is here” she says “that is true'' says Fishlegs but as Hiccup looks around he realizes that it is late so decides to pack up for the night “we can discuss this tomorrow” he says before he quickly write a note telling him that they will continue this in the morning the guy in the cell nods his head and then Hiccup leaves after he is out the door Astrid stops him “are you certain that leaving him alone in there is a good idea” she asks “Astrid until we know for certain that he has lil intent we need to try to be nice to him beside I need you and all the other rides alert and looking for that dragon that keeps raiding our ships” says Hiccup “the last time we waited to see what there intention was we lost the book of dragons” she says referring to the Heather incident “fine if it makes you feel better than you and I can take turns guarding the door” he says with a mild tone of annoyance “thank you I’ll take first watch” she says “see you later Astrid” he says as he walks off.

After I finally managed to sort of talk with Hiccup he, the girl and the big kid there leave as I go to bed I think to myself this must be a dream that it this is one heck of a dream but something inside of me is telling me this is real but I write that off how could it be real I mean come on dragons? That is ridiculous but as I wake the next morning and find myself in the same cell I start to panic I know that I can’t show this to my captors but I am freaking the @#$% out then a tall guy with a bucket on his head walks in with a bowl of soup he hands it to me and I thank him before releasing he can’t understand me but I think the message got across because he smiles and waves on his way out the door then I smell the weirdest thing before I can tell what it smells like I hear a loud bang and the back of my cell has a hole blown in the wall and I see one of those dragons with two head and two people on ether head they are both blond and look almost identical then the one on my right pulls back on the horns there side and a thick green gas comes out then the other one pulls back and sparks fly out, the door and myself get thrown against the opposite wall as I come to I look around I see the bag that I landed with I see the two people and the dragon heads come through the new hole in the wall I think that they are trying to talk to me but my ears are ringing and I can’t hear a thing they are saying and even if I could I can’t understand them in a panic I grab the bag and run out the door I trip on my way out which was a stroke of luck because three sharp projectiles fly over my head I run strait for the woods my hope is that the canopy will make it harder two find me I run past a solitary home then into the woods after a lot of running I duck into a cave then I hear several pairs of wings fly past after a moment to chatch my breath I decide to look at the paper in my bag and to my surprise it’s a map it leads to a cave on the other side of the island at least I hope it’s this island I figgure that it’s my best bet so I walked towards the cost and fallow it towards the cave at one point there is a drop but I stay up top and after what felt like hours of walking I find the cave and go inside I don’t see much other than what I think are fish bones I keep going deeper in the cave but it isn’t that deep then as I look around trying to find anything I hear the flap of wings and I run for cover then something fly’s in but I can’t make it out then I hear it sniff the air and I see the definitive detail eyes two large green eyes they don’t look threatening then it shoot at ceiling and the whole cave lights up and get my first good look at it, it was covered in jet black scales it wasn’t very tall but from what I could see it was quite long but just as quickly as the cave lit up it was consumed by darkness I start to back up doing what I was told to do during a bear attack then I remember the fish in my bag and give it to the dragon well still backing up I am almost out a fish bone snaps up under me and the dragon leaps towards me I think this is it this how I die much more exciting than I thought but still I didn’t want to die as it tackled me to the ground all I my life flashed before my eyes then I hear three objects fly over my head and then hit the wall behind me then I hear a gasp and then I hear a girl yell “ᚺᛁᚲᚲᚢᛈ ᚤᛟᚢᚱ ᚷᛟᛁᚾᚷ ᛏᛟ ᚹᚨᚾᛏ ᛏᛟ ᛋᛖᛖ ᛏᚺᛁᛋ” but it would seem that my friend was not interested in finding out as he grabs me with his feet spreads his wings and fly’s off at an impressive speed as we flew off after a bit I thought we had lost them and it seemed that my friend did to because he landed and put me down I start walk away but just as I thought I was in the clear a net falls on top of me and my new friend as I look around I can see the three kids from the prison the two people who nearly killed me and a new charter with dark hair and a more beefy build as they look at me they all have looks of shock on there face but after a moment I realize that they are not looking at me but my new friend.
