The wasteland of your desire
The dreamland of your use
video installation, mixed media, drawings, found objects, 2023
Video work presenting the body of water as a conflict ground between contradictory symbolic, imaginary and real orders. Relations between the tyranny of the maritime territory served by technological improvements and the origin of tectonics flow as a place for creation of natural boundaries. Artist invents the concept of geology of morality as an idea manifested by the occurrence of the island and its mnemonic power, surrounded by recovered memories of life without incapacitation. Formal deconstruction of the cartographical representation of maritime territories as an area determinated by the relation of dependencies. Here, the horizontal loop geometry is turned into the delaminated, folded topographical system floating somewhere in the ocean of lost but recoverable capacities. The work is questioning the origin of structures of power and taking the approach to decolonize ourselves from re-invented machinic enslavement caused by multilayered bio-geo-politics.

Discrete sections site

Discrete sections site is a construction made in process with participants of the workshop Book.Body.Play. Plich was working on the form of titles for artist’s individual interventions and it bring her to develop dedicated titles in the process of dialog or it came from the personal reflection on selected realisations. The text and a conceptualisation of group work was a way for the author to individually and still collaborativelly process the outputs gained during the workshop. It was the task to summarise and deconstruct the collectively gained experience that found the consideration in each individual artwork. Participants were following their bibliographic references, individual ways of work within form of the book and re-construct the parts of preferred tasks given by workshops.
Gradient vector objects are the binding structure of the exhibition. They follow the connections in between works and navigate in the process of experiencing the exhibition. Artist relates them to the paths and vectors creating the new universe (city like structure) within the exhibition which focuses on architectural potential of books. The gradient balancing between black/gray/white it’s a reference to the process of paper production and destruction in burning placing all realisation in the universal timelessness sphere.
