Patton Mute Pad was the brain child of Steve and Amy Patton. The company developed out of a need for an awesome bass mute that worked well and had personality. Most of all it had to really look like nothing else. I wanted an easy install that could change bass tone on the fly. Once Amy started sewing I asked her to create what she called a "barbie pillow" out of some marvel comic fabric . I was hooked from the trial run. I knew we had a hit. Today, Amy takes pride in creating all the mutes by hand, and Not one mute is shipped until I have personally tested it.
