Your art is fantastic, you probably get this quite a bit, but do you have any tips for young artists
Hi there!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I don’t know if I have tips that will work for every one, but a few things helped me when I was younger. It’s always recommended and I also vouch for just drawing from life and examining how things actually look like. It really helps to understand what kind of shapes make things look intriguing and charming. Also just being interested in art and trying to understad how different artists saw and interpreted the world in to their work helped me to develop my own way of drawing things. “My style”, so to speak.
And just, drawing a lot, but not to the point of exhaustion. Drawing things that interest you and make you feel inspired. Trying out different mediums within your reach, such as pencils, watercolors or other paints, digital, etc. to find out what works best for you. Not getting disgouraged if you feel like you are not meeting your goals in a certain timeframe. Learning never ends when it comes to art.
And drawing just to have fun. :)
I hope these weren’t too obvious or something, feel free to ask and I’ll try to answer the best I can. ^^

I had the amazing opportunity to illustrate Karah Sutton's enchanting novel A Wolf for a Spell a while back. Here are some of my personal faves.
