01.08.16 - the last months have been a great journey for us. we hosted the one and only DJ Tennis at MMA and had great times on its decks with our local buddies. the all nighters at the re-opened Registratur club were big fun as well as our open air adventures at wonderful Monticule (France), Traegertal (Passau) and Collage (Ingolstadt).
now in august it’s time to step up our festival game and celebrate summer with three amazing gigs!
first there’s Querschnitt Festival at an acient castle near regensburg with a fine selection of artists (Baikal, Aera, Quarion and our close friend Samsa a.o.).
then at the 13th will be our 4 years anniversary party starting in the backyard of MMA at noon and continuing down in the club until eight in the morning. we feel honoured to have dear friends like Kosme, Sascha Sibler, Benjamin Fröhlich to celebrate and play with us on that special day.
finally there’s our traditional date at Utopia Island. the three days festival right at the gates of Munich city offers - amongst its overall headliners - a fine selection of electronic artists like DJ Koze, Konstantin Sibold and Simian Mobile Disco.
looks like it’s gonna be our favourite time of the year so far!

Fr 19.03.16 - the tears are dried and amazing memories about the now closed club KONG will remain… time to move on for us and it’s gonna be this Saturday at MMA (Mixed Munich Arts). we’re having our debut at this more than exciting club with our own night! as a special guest we’ve invited our amazing friend Benjamin Fröhlich. he’s running one of our favourite labels Permanent Vacation and responsible for releases of artists like Mano Le Though, John Talabot or Red Axes amongst others, which really influenced our sound over the last years. can’t wait for this one!

After some fabulous nights with French Fries, Breach and a crazy all-nighter we’re back this week at our KONG residency presenting Me Hungry! with SOMNE from Italy. It’s the new solo project of Federico Maccherone, who was one half of the duo Clockwork for several years. They had successful releases on Life and Death, Vakant and Parachute as well as a heavy touring schedule all over the globe. His amazing debut ep ‘Millenium’ recently came out on Boddika’s label Nonplus Records and caught our attention immediately. It’s a hypnotic fusion of deep and techno - so we’re more than excited for his first-time-in-Munich solo set. Somne is also said to be in the studio these days 24/7, so hopefully we gonna hear some sweet exclusives on friday!

what an amazing weekend with Erobique at Mixed Munich Arts! now we’re already very looking forward to our long awaited guest at KONG, Eduardo de la Calle! As a passionate bhakti yogi from the south of spain, he creates a terrific output of quality techno apart from urban hecticness in his moutains-based studio. this highly gifted producer steps into the scene during the early nineties and is involved in more than 100 releases since then. Most of them vinyl-only and get put out on labels like Cadenza, Hivern Discs, Metal Groove and Mule Musiq, as well as on his own imprints Analog Solutions and Suprawax. His dj sets come stricly from vinyl as well, where he expertly combines different tones and eras to develope distinctivly exciting sound textures. Eduardo de la Calle also generates lots of buzz recently as a director of the brilliant musical documentary “BEATZ”, where he cinematically accompanied his touring day-to-day life for two years and recorded conversations with numerous dj-greats - highly reccomendable!

how long we’ve been waiting for this… and now it finally happens: Jimmy Edgar is coming to Munich and we gonna play with him at our homebase KONG! this polymath of electronic culture is not only an exceptionally gifted techno dj and producer, multi-instrumentalist and modular synthesizer freak. he’s equally amazing as a photographer, director, designer, visual- and multimedia-artist. in addition to that his record label ultramajic impresses with a string of high quality releases since its foundation in 2013. now at just about 31 years of age he has reached the absolute core of his artistic oevre, a fascinating fusion between technology, spirituality and seduction. his music, art and personality have always been a huge source of inspiration for our project right from the very beginning. so we’re indeed a little bit proud to welcome Jimmy Edgar in our city for the first time in ten years!
