Sweet shapes of Playfulness Sweet and irresistible like honey. That is what patterns are to me. The simple joy of repetition is such a profound pleasure, I can never have enough of it. This facade pattern I captured in Paris - near Rosa Parks Station. It reminds me of the shape puzzles my children used to make as toddlers. Ritme in de Polder This is the title of my current duo exhibition together with Ger Dekkers (1929-2020). Venice Tapestries While my exhibition Personal Structures, shown in Venice during the Biennale, will close down in a few days (last day 27-11), I decided to share a couple of Venetian compositions made during my stay earlier this year. Personal Structures | Venice Biennale Last month our exhibition ‘Personal Structures - Reflections’ opened at Palazzo Bembo in Venice. Organized by @ecc_italy during @labiennale , the event will run from 23 April to 27 November 2022. 

In this series of 10 images I created a personal impression of the exhibition at #PalazzoBembo (near Rialto bridge). Two other locations: Palazzo Mora and Marinaressa Gardens. Featured images: 1-2. Streams of Colour The Ministry of Urban Development and Environment in Hamburg, Germany. Designed by @sauerbruchhutton Architects. I have rarely seen a building that made such an astonishing, overpowering impression to my eyes, heart and soul. I am sure that inside very serious matters are discussed and decided upon, but what is important to me is that the outside of the building radiates pure creative joy and inspiration. I just kept watching and admiring all of its angles and details. I hope that the positive energy of this cascade of visual pleasure will also be transported to you through this image. White Rose Terraces See it now at the Virtual Edition of @theotherartfair presented by @saatchiart! Visit my booth, enjoy my work and see many talented artists from all over the world. Running 8-29 November. Visit my booth directly via the biolink. The White Rose (De Witte Roos) is a 13 story social housing project in Nijmegen, designed by 24H Architects. Its organic shapes look different from all angles and is beautiful to its tiniest details. It never ceases to intrigue and inspire.
