I doubt Nagisa is the most prolific writer out there so the whole complexity of her thoughts doesn't translate (does it anyone's?), but the way she writes it's "her" enough. So I don't think this is her, always, but it is plenty of her essence.

I mean, when you're familiar with one and it fits (and you don't overlook it) it's like going with your gut when you use a big word. Like instinctively.

If you read a lot of academic stuff or are around someone who does...big words will stick to you, especially if you're young.

Obviously referencing their fight. Wonder if it's just that. If it is, Honoka doesn't have much to go on and won't really approach her.

I think it boils down to that. As different as two people can be, if it nice to spend time with the other then it who cares? You're friends.

Not really everything? Like maybe I'm wrong, but this is not the advice to give to you when you accidentally reveal someone's secret and that someone screams at you that you are not friends (a lie) and to not meddle in their life because you're just coworkers. And then internalize that shit so much that you think it's better to not be in their life at all which happens to be sad and inconvenient to the other person.

I don't think Nagisa has enough experience and references to properly rein in her anger. Talking with her mom about this is a great way to get references.

Interesting way to start this.

It's impossible to never fight with someone that's a regular in your life. It's not healthy in either extreme but when you don't fight, at all, it means someone's discomfort is getting overlooked because no one is alright with EVERYTHING the other does. In other words, if there are no fights, it means someone is trying to please the other to their own detriment. Erasing their voice so there's no conflict.

So fighting is healthy when people hear each other out, and the conflict is resolved.

A little? Maybe you are referring to the bickering during the fight with Geki but Nagisa telling you aren't friends because she was mortified due to you basically exposing her crush to her crush is not little.

Matching is what you were worried about but this isn't a matching problem, this is a saying things you shouldn't problem.

This is confusing. Didn't Honoka get into this because she did what she felt was right this whole episode? With Fujipi, with handing over Mipple and by avoiding Nagisa? She did what she felt was right when she went to save her too. Like Nagisa said, she's not always right. She felt it was right giving up being Cure White and avoiding Nagisa because she thought she didn't want to deal with her. Without sufficient information "the right thing" will feel way different than if you knew all the facts.

True. She shouldn't act like she doesn't want to be close to Nagisa (I'm thinking when Nagisa approached her and Honoka gave her a bunch of excuses). Giving up Mipple isn't very "her" at all, either.

Honoka shouldn't have been able to have write anything as she had given up Mepple but honestly I've been so mistaken on how these girls' powers work that maybe Nagisa will see how this affected her in there.

I mean, I get why Honoka wouldn't want to keep trying to talk to her, after what Nagisa said, and having apologized twice, it would feel like you're being annoying as hell and there's not anything more to say.

But hadn't Nagisa decided to apologize to her? Like where did that go? Honoka got snappy. Shouldn't Nagisa expect that after what she said?

Not that their fight wasn't important, but this argument is kinda stupid. It doesn't really address the actual problem of acknowledging that they ARE friends and that Honoka left pretty cure.

They'll probably get to it later in the fight against Geki.

I'm really surprised by Honoka biting back. Between the two she's the one with a calmer temper. Makes sense though, after Nagisa hurt her she felt like she shouldn't be Cure White, she's not her friend, then Nagisa gets captured and she's saving her because she can't leave her like that and the Nagisa telling her to hurry up when she's doing her best in a stressing situation?

Honoka got kinda pissed here. She's always so nice and calm unless she's talking to someone that wants to kill her. Understandable, though, after the day she's having, in an impossible situation and Nagisa is rushing her.

They're great friends. I like how they know Nagisa so well.

I hope we learn more about them and show Nagisa caring for them when they're down the same way they've supposed Nagisa so far.

That said...

Honoka must feel the world is rubbing the fact that Nagisa already has great friends who she gladly confides in and doesn't really need her in her face. She doesn't know she shouldn't take to heart what Nagisa said and that with a little time she can be good friends with her as well.

Alright Nagisa, now's your chance.

This feels odd. I want her to accept she considers Nagisa a friend but I don't think that's what's happening here. Also, I think if she's always the one searching to be close to Nagisa, that makes it a very one-sided friendship.

Honoka must be really shaken if she thought this was for the best. Nagisa will have to scramble to find a new partner before Geki shows up to fuck things up again, does she really think that she's so terrible for Nagisa that it's better to leave her and put her in a precarious position than to fight alongside her again? When they've already gotten more or less used to it?

Like, do you have physically fight someone?

Maybe it's because Honoka didn't shout back and just agreed with you?

She's holding back tears.

Can't say everything's alright, you messed up but you can apologize. Make things right again, be honest.

Anger. We all say things we immediately regret some time in our lives.

There's the added kick that Honoka agreed. Of course she agreed, what else was there to do? She wasn't fully convinced of it herself and to fight her on that while Nagisa was angry wouldn't have been a very good decision, she might've been further hurt. Even a "is that how you really feel" is way too much of a risk. Insisting is annoying to the other person and feels too pathetic.

Unfortunately, a degree of vulnerability is needed when you want to be a fairly important part of a person's life. Either Nagisa will have to admit she really didn't mean it and she does want to be/regards her as a friend first (and risking Honoka saying that she never considered her a friend, not that she would actually think that) or Honoka has to reach out again and ask if she really meant that because she didn't (and risk getting crushed, again).

It's probably more adequate and probable that Nagisa approaches Honoka with the intention to be friends? Honoka apologized and after getting told that I doubt she's gonna insist with the friend thing because she won't want to bother Nagisa unless it's Pretty Cure business.

Ah, memories. When it's close to winter solstice and you're in an after school activity, you see the sunset in school when you're done.

In middle school I felt this very anxiety inducing.
