hello tumblr: icywk, i just turned 19! 

it’s been weeks since nung birthday ko pa pero i still have this thought.

sa sixteen years naman ng buhay, di pa ko naka-experience ma-surprise tuwing birthday not until senior high school. di naman ako nag-eexpect every year pero diba nakaka-curious kung anong feeling. so ayun na nga, senior high, sinurprise ako ng classmates ko na friends ko rin. they gave me gifts na sobrang weird (e.g. bra & panty na di ko alam kung sino may ari, recipe ng sinigang, pantyliner etc.) pero sobrang naappreciate ko yung katarantaduhan hahahuhu ily guyz. that was the first, though. 

i know i shouldn’t be comparing any of my squads but i couldn’t help. my junior high school friends are my friends for almost four years already pero not once did they ever surprised me. sobrang nakakalungkot na sa tuwing may birthday yung isa sa amin, meron kaming conceptualization ng surprise mga ganon. and then when it’s me, all i get is a “sorry”. 

on my 19th, i planned a birthday salubong. i invited few friends lang tas inuman. that saturday morning, my college friends surprised me kahit the next day pa yung birthday ko. sobrang naappreciate ko yun talaga kasi di ko inexpect na may ganon di ko alam kung maiiyak ako or what. i did expect from my jhs friends na baka naman sana ngayon meron ng surprise, wala ng excuse, alam niyo yon. but then again, i was disappointed.

buuuuuuuut, i’m still thankful for i still have my family and loved ones with me.

i love all of my friends equally amidst every disappointments they all gave me. i just wished they’ve showed enough appreciation. i’m not mad, it just makes me sad that these people doesn’t give the same energy back.

langya naman. araw-araw ako nag-struggle para i-remind yung sarili ko na hindi naman ako disappointment para makausad, para may rason pa ko na magpatuloy. hindi naman nakakatulong na yung tingin sa 'kin ng mga tao sa paligid ko, lalo na sa mga taong inaasahan ko talaga, ay mas mababa pa pala kaysa sa tingin ko sa sarili ko.

vet student struggles to give the dog its medicine

nagfoodtrip kami ng blockmates ko tapos nagbiruan lang ng “tara inom” ganon. so, me being kaladkarin kinda wanna say yes but ayoko na rin umuwi ng late so sabi ko “pagod ako, sa year-end na lang.” then, there’s this blockmate na, almost gabi-gabi na ata umiinom (meron yung one week siya every night umiinom tapos papasok siya looking like sabog), said “ang boring niyo naman.”  may sinabi pa siya na something about sa hindi pala kami kaladkarin ganon.

nainis ako kasi ayoko na rin kasi talaga ng interaksyon nung araw na yon. and recently rin kasi, pa-cool na siya. yung nakakainis na na pa-cool, minsan gusto mo na lang tumahimik na siya. though, di naman siya ganun dati. ewan ko ba.

na-annoy ako tapos na-realize ko na at some point naging ganun din pala ko sa friends ko. naiinis ako sa ganon so hindi na impossible na naiinis rin sila sa akin huhu sorry.
