the thing. to me. to me. about adults fx and paulantonissa is that like. the set up is so fucking good. they're marriage of convenience married so one of them wouldn't have to leave new york and they clearly have feelings for each other and clearly can't have feelings for each other because one of them has a girlfriend and that girlfriend happens to be the other guy's best friend. and she's so complicated she wants to do what's right but she doesn't always know how to do it and she loves her friends so fiercely and she's a huge yapper and headstrong and genuine. so genuine. and she loves her boyfriend and her best friend and wants them to be happy of course but maybe not necessarily with each other. because that'd hurt her. and who wants to get their heart broken. and she watched them kiss and it was supposed to be a silly joke and then it clearly, clearly wasn't. also they all live together with their two other best friends who are gonna have to watch this all happen while under the same roof. and i need to see it all unfold because the set up is one of the best like. ever. to me.
