Our puppy program pilot is looking to be a snuggly success!! Puppies 8-12 weeks are in a very important development period and need safe exposure to new people, places and other pets. It's a big world out there, and it's important that experiences are based in trust and aren't overwhelming. Our new puppy program provides safe opportunities to meet new people, to rest, play with other puppies, rest some more and to (most importantly) feel safe and secure. This little sweetie is having a day that meets HER needs and responds to her cues for comfort and security. 👏👏👏Heeeeeeere's November! 🐶 He's a big beautiful boy who arrived last night from the @nwtspca! He is beautiful annnnd ⚡UP FOR ADOPTION!⚡ His snowball-catching ❄ may need some work, but that's only because he's been focusing on his snuggle-me game 💞 He's a young guy with lots of big energy and big play! There is only so much time in a day to practice things, and his priority has been on becoming the snuggliest charmer there is out there! Independent opinion verifies this ✔ Also good to know is he's a professional reverse-masseur: he lies down and you massage him. He also is practiced in the art of receiving head skritches. This guy is a special soul and is going to open up someone's heart to more love than there are dog food brands! These two boys arrive this evening from @nwtspca! And they're up for adoption! ✈💖🐾 Colby (black with light paws) and Fax are looking for forever homes! They're having a sleepover with us tonight🌜💤 before being picked up by @mistycreek_dogs and continuing on their journey south 🚗 We are really happy that we can be a part of their story and offer a safe place to stay as they journey toward a new life! 🏡 Rescues like @mistycreek_dogs rely on volunteers 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ and donors 💰to run, and donations help fund the work of the NWT SPCA. It takes a lot of coordination and care to help get these pups set on a safe path and great life!
