How You Can (Do) Motorcycle Dealers Almost Instantly

In Norfolk Virginia, a few car or truck dealer whos TV ads have received so many complaints and have been deemed so disturbing that Senator Jim Webb has become linked to efforts to find the ads taken off the air. As the Auto Insider, I have always tried to educate you about dealer tricks and scams so you can protect yourself. So I i never thought circumstances could develop where I will be upset that a person in the Senate was trying to intervene against a car dealer but that's exactly the case!

Heres the storyplot. A car or truck dealer, Charlie Falk made a decision to run TV commercials with actresses playing military personnel. It appears the rub is that the actresses aren't providing a traditional portrayal of how women within the military would be dressed. No, they are certainly not dressed sexually or overtly; not properly attired. For instance, one actress has the very top button of her shirt open; another does not have a t-shirt on within camouflage shirt. Remember, nothing sexual - just unauthentic. Now, these ads have upset and offended several active military women as well as some retired personnel.

Please understand my disagreement is NOT coupled to the girls that are offended by Charlie Falk's ads. I may struggle to fully comprehend their feelings about this matter because I do not have a very military background, but that's not what has me upset. The only suggestion I would give these offended women is that they should use their power as a consumer block to have their fellow military males and females to boycott Charlie Falk. There is an enormous military population in Norfolk and without their business, I'm sure Charlie Falk would take a huge financial hit.

My contempt is centered on Senator Webb. The Senator has chose to use his enormous power and influence to cope with this challenge rather than the countless illegal, unethical and deceiving auto ads employed to fleece car buyers throughout Virginia and also the entire US on a regular basis! In these TV ads, Mr. Falk did not try to insult any military people, remember they represent a huge part of his customer base. Ive seen the ads along with my educated opinion Charlie Falk only agreed to be sloppy and thoughtless while producing his TV spots.

Now Senator Webb can be a former military man and I bet the military vote is very important for that good Senator to remain in office. To me, this definitely seems to be little more than a Senator pandering for votes. It's a shame that Senator Webb doesn't put our tax dollars to be effective ensuring car dealers don't rip people off, as opposed to just insult people! No, I am not condoning insulting people, but I do think that this fact that a huge variety of Americans are financially assaulted by car dealers represents a more pressing issue for your Senator to cope with.

To prove my position all you have to do is take a closer look at Charlie Falk. In October 1994 Mr. Falk agreed to settle a case by forgiving $10.5 million in defaulted loans and pay $400,000 in damages to former customers. Mr. Falk runs whats referred to as a Buy Here Pay Here truck lot. In 1994 Mr. Falk owned 11 such BHPH truck lots. The lawsuit arose over his practice of repossessing vehicles in the untimely manner. Some people might describe it as being selling someone a motor vehicle, then legally stealing it back! Given the choice, I'd prefer to be insulted by Mr. Falk instead of a few of the alternatives. The $400,000 paid to former customers was split between 2,500 to 3,100 people! Thats a lot of people harmed i think.

I wonder how he could be permitted to continue selling cars after settling an instance that damaged countless people. You would think that some figure with all the chance to protect individuals would've taken his license away back 1994. Gosh, I bet a Senator might have done that, I wonder why no-one did I think I know the solution. Buy Here Pay Here auto dealerships cater to low income customers. People often choose to do business with these dealerships since they cannot obtain an car loan from a bank. The Buy Here Pay Here dealer props up note for the car they offer.

Now in Senator Webb's defense, I need to claim that he wasn't inside office in 1994. Additionally, you'll be able he's not familiar with all the prior actions of Mr. Falk. But if he reads this and does a little research he'll almost certainly learn that the present actions of Mr. Falk are pale in comparison to his previous offenses. I urge Senator Webb to get more aware and active in the tries to protect the citizens of Virginia all car dealers like Charlie Falk. Use this as a springboard for something different!

But, we cannot feel that Senator Webb is unfamiliar using the actions of may car dealers. He's a really bright man and that he knows auto dealerships commit illegal and unethical actions against unsuspecting people daily. So, if this sounds like the conclusion of Senator Webb's actions against Mr. Falk as well as other dealers like him there's merely one conclusion I can draw if your business practices prey on the poor, stealing money from them and ruining their financial status (like Charlie Falk) I won't comment or act. But, if you happen to insult military personnel with a poorly researched and produced TV ad Im ready to get you on!

Senator, if you opt for a newspaper, watch TV or read anything on the web you will soon identify hundreds or a huge number of car dealers who should receive your attention and wrath, unfortunately, in cases like this, Charlie Falk is just not one of them!
