Celebration of Saint Roque from tarija
The big celebration of Tarija in honor of Saint Roque takes place every year starting on augost 16. It extends untill mid-Septiember.
In september the confinement takes place, the whole city participates to dismiss San Roque.
Tarija is a capital city of the Plurinational State of Bolivia that is located in the south of the country, it is also known as Chura Tarija and La Capital de la sonrisa.
