STEVE MCQUEEN
1930-1980
Steve McQueen was an American actor. he had a troubled youth and spent time in reform schools. He joined the US Marine Corps in 1947 until 1950. He then studied acting. He appeared in films such as The Towering Inferno (1974), The Great Escape (1963), and The Blob (1958). he was one of the highest paid actors during the 1960s and was known for doing his own stunts.
He got lung cancer and sadly died aged 50 in 1980.
