            an  attempt  to  refrain  from  peeking  into  the  monster - slayer's  mind  is  made  ;  a  hard  one,  in  fact,  as  elsie's  thoughts  nearly  entwine  with  his,  making  their  way  into  his  consciousness  ;  the  girl  shakes  her  head,  raises  her  hands  &&.  takes  a  careful  step  back.

            ❝  i  mean  no  harm,  ❞  the  almost - angel  says  ;  tone  laced  in  fear  and  sincerity.  ❝  and  wish  not  to  fight.  i  do  not  have  weapons  other  than  a  dagger  underneath  my  gown  ;  am  i  to  take  it  out,  drop  it  on  the  floor?  ❞

            she  then  looks  up,  right  into  the  foggy  blues  of  the  man's  eyes.  ❝  my  magic  is  not  of  the  offense  type  either.  could  we,  please,  refrain  from  violence?  ❞

was  she  supposed  not  to?  little  dove  blinks  with  eyes  wide  open,  porcelain  cheeks  flushing  with  the  lightest  shade  of  pink.

on  her  face,  there's  equal  parts  surprise  and  abashment.  not  the  one  to  overstep  boundaries  known  prior,  she  turns  her  gaze  to  her  hands  fiddling  with  the  hem  of  ghost's  shirt.

"  i  thought—  "  she  starts,  words  suddenly  refusing  to  cooperate  —  but  it  flashes  in  ghost's  mind,  sentences  incomplete,  attempts  at  gathering  thoughts.

she  thought  she  can  —  because  as  she  fled  and  traveled,  all  her  belongings  got  destroyed  or  lost  &&.  now,  there  was  nothing  clean  for  her  to  rest  at  night  in.

elsinael  took  simon's  kindness  for  granted.  perhaps  too  hastily.

" i'm  sorry,  did  not  mean  to  take  what  is  yours  without  asking  first  —  thought  the  wardrobe  of  yours  is  to  be  shared  when  my  clothes  are  dirty.  shouldn't  have  assumed.  "

dove's  tone  is  soft  &&.  sorry,  and  its  steps  are  redirected  towards  the  bathroom  door  —  to  change  into  whatever's  left  of  her  belongings.

❛ what if i hurt you? ❜

hips  hover  atop  ghost's,  dainty  fingers  sprawled  on  his  chest  for  support  —  his  own,  calloused,  rest  on  the  curve  of  little  dove's  waist.

the  concerns  of  his  are  responded  to  with  a  giggle  —  soft  and  friendly,  never  mocking  —  and  the  smile  of  elsie's  is  everything  but  sarcastic.  genuinely  amused,  in  no  way  there  is  a  possibility  for  ghost  to  harm  her  —  neither  physically  nor  mentally  —  and  to  suspect  such  outcome  is...  oh,  silly.

"  you  worry  too  much,  "  she  says,  eyes  glimmering  with  specks  of  silver  ;  like  they're  made  of  magic  —  like  she's  made  of  magic  —  &&.  with  the  gentleness  of  hers,  she  lowers  herself  to  meet  ghost  where  she  now  needs  him  the  most.

a  sigh  leaves  through  parted  lips  —  glossy  and  puffy  from  the  kisses  she  left  all  over  her  guardian  brief  moments  ago  —  it's  sound  pure  relief  &&.  delight.

through  skin  thin  like  paper  and  soft  like  silk  pierce  bones  —  little  angel's  weight  nothing  —  not  only  for  arms  as  strong  as  his,  but  overall  —  and  she'll  tire  easily,  soon  needing  help  as  to  lift  herself  up  yet  again.

it  happens  once  more  and  then,  there's  a  speck  of  crimson  adorning  the  canvas  of  her  body,  right  between  her  thighs.  it  doesn't  hurt  —  nothing  with  ghost  does  —  but  the  neediness  grows  and  grows  and  grows  and  silver  hair  escape  the  loose  knot  and  lay  on  elsie's  shoulders  like  a  waterfall  and  she  closes  her  eyes,  teary  with  pleasure,  and  there  are  audible  sighs  and  mewls  and  her  nails  digging  onto  simon's  skin  and  the  voice  in  his  head  —  delighted  and  overjoyed  —  love  you,  love  you,  love  you.

can i ask for some nice words? it's a hard day at work. very hard day. met people whom i wished not to meet (this is why i chose the location of the restaurant to be as far away from my old workplace / coworkers' homes) and today i served one of my ex coworkers and she was nice and all but. yknow. hurty as my current job is literally such a degradation to what i did previously. i wanna cry (i have an interview on wednesday for a great position); it's still so hard for me not to be the family's breadwinner anymore.
