hi im in your ask box because i wanna scream about your post more but! ctommy personifies almost everything he interacts with, which is why he is so connected to everything

henry wasnt just a pet, he was a friend, l'manburg wasnt just a place, it was his home and the place he felt safe, it represented cwilbur, and the bond they had together, he mourned it like a person! he mourned his pets like they were people!

he was loyal to the discs! they couldnt be loyal back to him but he had formed such a strong connection to them that he was loyal to them, letting go of the discs was a betrayal to them, and in betraying someone else, ctommy betrays himself (you've seen how angry he was at c!eret for betrayal, and how much he's been beating himself up over techno and his relationship)

c!tommy connects so much with everything and everyone because he cares so deeply about everything, which is what makes him specifically so vulnerable as a character, especially to characters (such as c!dream) who are able to disregard empathy and connection very easily
