but yes ohh my god oooooh my god. gatsby was a victim to the promise of new money. nobody went to gatsby's funeral. it's insane. IT'S INSANE

when i realised the pool floatie connection i immediately opened tgg so i could remember exactly how his death scene was described and when i remembered that he was waiting on a phone call as he died i literally screamed so loud

Capitalism Kills #becoming a spamtonhead has had me scrawling CAPITALISM KILLS on the walls like a madman #it makes me feel silly because deltarune isnt even about that. its just like this one little rabbit hole side story back story convoluted-#-thing going on with one character. thats about this. but its so compelling #the whole book is so spiritually spamton to me like the messy relationships the clinging to the past the money the MONEY the parties #the In the end no one cared about him #we just need a daisy character. and we're set. thats a pretty giant gap wrt comparing to great gatsby but you know #does anyone want to hold out hope for a daisy esque character in chaoter 5 that is Somehow related to this whole (gestures vaguely) sideplot
