Incredibly messy list of reasons why Saiteru is real and why I ship them (with occasional examples)
(and a little fan art to draw the attention)

Disclaimer: I did not read the manga, I watched anime and then searched for examples in manga as in supreme source
A little introduction.
There's a two things about Saiki K. that I need to mention before I will try to prove that Saiki actually likes Teruhashi back.
First of all, hope we can all agree on that, Saiki as the protagonist is unreliable narrator. This comes both from a) the form of the series - the fact that we as viewers don't see things the way Saiki does (just like with his X-ray vision, he's unable to see Teruhashi's appearance, but we actually can - so he says she's not that special or pretty while we can appreciate her beauty) and b) his view of relationships he has. He can deny his friendship with Nendou, Kaido and others all he wants, but we, as viewers see in every episode that he loves them dearly. He can say all he wants about how he's not gonna solve other people problems, but he helps every time and so on.
An secondly (kinda follows the last statement) he is tsundere. Not even kinda tsundere - he's hereditary tsundere and takes this after his grandfather.
Those two points I based my proofs on establish one big thesis - we're not gonna get any real straight verbal confirmation from Saiki that he has any feelings towards anyone, especially Teruhashi. So instead we gonna do what shippers do best - thoroughly search for any indirect evidences that something in fact goes on between them.
This list is based purely on objective and subtle changes in Saiki's patterns of behaviour.
So here's reasons why Saiteru is in fact real in no particular order:
Mixer issue.
The thing going on between Saiki and Teruhashi changes after Mixer date (there's also a post here on the subject of how it changes everything which I do not intend to repeat). I just wanna say that there were a million of ways of how it could go with the basically same outcome. But no. From Saiki actually showing up at the mixer to control things like some sort of power broker to the very end of the issue there is:
Kusuo's irritation at those guys generally;
his mentioning that he knows Teruhashi's preferences (like, yeah, he reads people minds, duh, but how much exactly he had to read her mind to know her favourite song or joke? It's not something you think about all the time, you know);
appreciation of her thoughts about him;
smile;
admitting he would/does enjoy this;
and rock-paper-scissors. This just blows my shipper mind - he actually participated in gambling on Teruhashi and actually won the game on purpose just for the sake of it. Of course it played out as a joke, but guys, GUYS! He literally won Kokomi-chan! On purpose! He participated in something this ... morally questionable, even though if he felt indifferent about her he would'd just thought something like "she's not an object to gamble on her")

Saiki usually tries to ignore his friends inviting him to some special events (New Year eve or Kaido's secret base and so on) until it's absolutely rude to decline or there's a chance something will go wrong or his mom is nearby. But these few times Teruhashi didn't even ask him to go somewhere (milkshake incident, mixer) he avoided her asking him but still followed her around.
He did in fact say "of-fu". Out loud. While being completely silent all the time. No more comments (mic drop).

Cultural festival lottery.
This one is tricky and requires analysis. So there's actually two lotteries involving Teruhashi - first one to choose her group for Okinawa trip and second one is cultural festival committee members. Both lotteries is drawn by Teruhashi knowing she will draw Saiki with Kami-sama's help and Saiki knowing she's gonna succeed. But in the Okinawa lottery he overplays her and uses X-ray vision and telekinesis to change her draw.

And in the cultural festival committee member (which happens after mixer) he just...don't.

And it's not even about avoiding Teruhashi personally, this time it's about avoiding huge pain in the ass cultural festival committee member is. As for me, personally, crush or no crush, I would do everything to not have such responsibilities. And he just chooses not to do anything? Even though this time it would be worse than a trip in one group of six, it would require them actually working together, possibly with no one around.
Cultural festival issue #2. Saiki admitted that their superpowers work together perfectly and when combined they are in fact invincible. While doing something so trivial as school play.
Prior to that he worked together with his actual psi-team with some actual superpowers over something not so trivial (stopped train) and even though he admitted he wouldn't do that with such efficiency without them but he didn't say a word about their powers complementing each other, their working together this well or something like this - but he did say something this cheesy to Teruhashi, your usual perfect bishoujo.
Kusuo felt incredibly irritated when his brother bothered her (and kinda proud of her when he paid him back with her powers). Saiki from first chapters would've just use the crowd to teleport (like he actually did with Teruhashi when he didn't say "of-fu" for the first time) and left those two alone. Also, do you see it here? Saiki, you're being a little bit hypocritical, don't you?

He stops avoiding her or plotting so that she fall out of love with him after mixer issue.
He's incredibly annoyed at her brother but still deals with him instead of just disappearing out of his sight (especially birthday present episode).
I don't actually think that issue with her overwhelming herself fits here. He would do the same for Kaido or anybody of his friends. He's irritated at guys but it kinda rational reaction for him about the cause of someone's suffering. He kinda opposes himself and them, but he has a god complex, he always does this.
He constantly complements her after mixer. Constantly. It's basically praises to her whether they are working together and he complements her superpowers, or he helps her with press club and compliments her anti-stalker skills or her overwhelming herself just to maintain her perfect bishoujo image and he compliments her dedication.

He actually thought that she's pretty at the end of the series. Legitimately. No other comments, just this. Okay, maybe also that I'm happy that he had a chance to look at her without his powers. But also it means that if he really did like her before this, which I think he did, he liked glowing skeleton/humonoid body of muscles. You know, perfect form of liking other person without knowing how they actually look.
Reasons why I personally ship them.
(Obviously) Kami-sama is on Teruhashi's side. No matter what. Like come on guys. Its inevitable at this point. Even Saiki stopped resisting.
Teruhashi feels super comfortable with Saiki's friends - as opposed to literally every other guy in their school when she has to overwhelm herself just to talk to them. On contrary, Nendou, Kaido and Kurosaki usually have no problem hanging out with Teruhashi. Like yeah, they blush sometimes and act like she is blessing them with her presence, but they do not put the same kind of pressure that everybody else does.
They both have super weird (pervert) elder brothers they suffer from.
He sees all her imperfect thoughts and feelings and still choses to respect Teruhashi for both her good qualities and her flaws. (But guys, actually, how great this trope is? Someone knows all your dirtн secrets and bad thoughts and still chooses not only to love you (not talking about Saiki, cause it's debatable, even though I do think he loves her back, but generally speaking) but actually respects you for that?)
Saiki's almost omnipotent powers can't beat Teruhashi's powers of luck and ability to be loved by Kami-sama. And her powers are only powers in the show he has to reckon with constantly and that challenges him on multiple occasions. Not only that - he actually loses to her almost every time. Which is ironic, cause the only time Teruhashi did really lose against him in every possible way - it was the first time she appears in manga, when he didn't say of-fu and she eventually kinda fell in love with him.
This one goes a bit deeper then this post meant to be, but Teruhashi's life is actually terrible. She learned to enjoy it and to get the best out of the situation she's in, but that is truly a nightmare. Her brother is a pervert who is able to give her underwear as a present and wishes he could marry her. All of the boys literally block her way on regular basis. She has a fanclub who can approve or disapprove her social interactions (i don't think she pays much attention to them, but what if she knew they tried to tell her crush not to talk to her?). Press club is constantly after her, trying to take or photoshop embarassing fotos of her (borderline pornography). And every one of them sees her as an object. As a doll. A beautiful picture. So it's only consistent for her as a character to fall for guy who doesn't fall for her act and sees her as she is. It's beautiful. She needs that.
In conclusion (if someone will actually read to this point) I wanna say that for me the best ship is the ship that didn't happen but was implied. Especially with such complicated characters like Saiki K. It gives so much place to debate, to search for subtle evidences that there is some sort of affection or that there's not, to interpret facts and play with them, trying to understand authors intentions and finding some clues and hints...it's just so much more fun that established ships.

SaiTeru: Why it Works for Me
So I’ve come to the conclusion that to finally exorcise all of my SaiTeru thoughts, I need to ramble about just what makes them so good together (in my eyes).
This entire post is just my very own personal perspective, of course; so you can pretty much mentally attach an IMHO to everything.
I’ll be using panels from the manga to illustrate my thoughts as well as I can. So if you’re interested in these two, by all means, get ready for an image-heavy post! And link-heavy, too, because I’ll be trying to not repeat too much of the stuff I’ve already mentioned in my SaiTeru posts lol

While I was watching the episode where Makoto asks Saiki to help him buy gifts for Teruhashi, I noticed something I had missed before. Saiki not only chose a gift for Teruhashi, he actually bought the mug for her. Which he later exchanged with Makoto’s huge blue one because they were the same price and he had to keep the other one. What’s even more funny is that Teruhashi didn’t even ask for a gift from him or anything, as usual, Saiki literally went out of his way for her and got her a gift. Another thing I found interesting is that when Makoto asked him if he knew what Teruhashi’s favorite animal was and he wasn’t aware of it other than knowing she had a cat, Makoto said he didn’t expect him to know anyways, Saiki said it ticked him off. So, he did take that personally. Even more interesting is that he knows all about Teruhashi’s favorite show, song and even her favorite joke (the mixer episode is everything I say) like how much do you have to be close to someone to know almost everything about them?? And the fact that Saiki was offended by Makoto’s remark about him not knowing what Teruhashi’s favorite animal was???? (Tsundere duh)

I know I’ve already talked about it once but to me, Saiki turning invisible and stealing Teruhashi’s drink is the single most funniest thing he has done in the entire series. Because, hey, Saiki was right above Teruhashi in the air when she was looking for him and he could just teleport to his place and not be involved in any of this. But he chose to turn invisible, follow Teruhashi into the cafe, sit right in front of her the whole time and share a drink with her. Why? This doesn’t leave room for any explanation other than Saiki just wanted to spend time with Teruhashi without actually letting her know (tsundere duh) because when he was invisible and safe from the men searching for him, he could easily go home. However, he stayed there until Teruhashi decided to give up and go home. And he was so smug about it? He always gave her way more than she could ever hope for. And the fact that he was standing so close to her that she could accidentally touch him while yawning is hillarious. Saiki being in denial about his feelings for Teruhashi is what I live for lmao.

one of the reasons i really like the concept of saiteru (bc it can get some bad rap) is simply bc i think they’d be able to bring out the best in each other
i feel like both of them would be able to wholeheartedly be themselves because and would fully know there would be no judgement from either side and they could trust each other
the fact that saiki has known teruhashi’s true self hidden beneath the perfect persona and still stuck with her the whole time is very telling and would be comforting to teruhashi bc she would know he wasn’t just there “for her looks” and because he loves and knows her true self and loves her for her.
likewise teruhashi was one of the first people to really see saiki for who he was breaking away from any of those fantasy saiki’s, the most notable mention being in the mixer karaoke episode where she comments on how saiki would just sit there in silence with a blank look on his face. No extravagants, no saiki falling for her, just him.
in addition to that there’s the scene where saiki watches her push herself past her limits trying to impress all the boys to the point where she faints constantly wishing she’d just stop and when she doesn’t, saiki puts himself in the center of attention to catch her. Then alternatively, teruhashi tells the boys she forgot her place in compliments, smth she’d originally never do, and ran out to go thank saiki, thus choosing saiki over her image which is super important to her.
and for saiki, knowing that teruhashi has had to hide parts of her personality for the sake of the perfection mask, it would be easier for saiki to shed his mask himself. And we’ve already seen through flashback scenes and just saiki’s own judgement that her and the rest of his friends would be completely accepting of him.
idk i just love them, i like to think they’d both be comforted knowing the other likes them for they’re true selves. plus the dynamic between the two is so funny. The way they’re both on equal playing field when it comes to little schemes btwn the both of them, and whether saiki will win or teruhashi is always up in the air. But working together they can pretty much pull off anything.
i just like them. sorry this was long i didn’t mean to go into a full length character relationship analysis lmfao. i know ppl are going to disagree w me on this and that’s totally fine and valid i just wanted to put my thoughts out there a bit lol

Who does Saiki end up with?
5 Reasons to prove that Saiki ends up with Teruhashi.
I have just finished Saiki K anime (because someone recommended it last month, January 2023). English isn't my first language, but I hope I can explain why they will end up together. I hope it is not too late to write about this.
1. Saiki´s type
As we can see, in the beginning, he thinks girls will give up on him in a short time and find a new love.
Chapter 0.2
The same as Yumehara, who gave up on Saiki easily and he said that's way too fast.
But Kokomi will never changed her feelings for Saiki and that's why he says offu. (His face looks like he did not mean to say offu out loud). Chapter 214
(Explain: Saiki told Mikoto to tell Kokomi what kind of girl he likes and tell her to find another man, but Kokomi just listens only to Saiki´s type. She knows that she stays true to herself and she will never change her feelings no matter what. She knows one day (just a matter of time) her effort will melt his heart. That's why he said offu.
It is actually his type of girl he likes. Well, I think he might regret to tell her that because Kokomi will never give up. Kokomi is invincible, he always say that before. And yes, his heart begins to melt (This is the reason why he feels nervous to be alone with her chapter 216 because he is afraid his feeling and he can't resist her. He begins to say we are invincible chapter 218). He cares about her more and more (can read this number 3).
Ps. Offu means Oh! (my understanding). It can be positive or negative depends on situation.)
Ps2. Man i manga like to use his hand and cover his mouth when he is blushing. But I don't think Saiki is blushing. He doesn't want her to know yet (save for the last, Huh?).
2. God helps them to be together.

I wonder why God always helps them to be together because I thought Saiki was Aiura´s soulmate. But he is not.
Aiura said her soulmate is a student in PK academy and has the initials about s.k. Reita´s name 鳥(tori)束(tsuka). 束contains s and k, which means to bundle (to be possessed (by a ghost).
Initials can also be nicknames. Reita is in the psychics trio at the PK academy and in Japanese (psychics) サイキックス saikikkusu (initial s.k.k.s - Aiura says sk or ks), (Psykicker) サイキッカーズ Saikikkāzu which has initial s.k. I think this is the answer as the picture below.
Aiura said that her soulmate has pink hair and has some crazy abilities (a Spirit Medium)
Chapter 73 and the last volume
(Explaination: This means that sensei have given a hint who else has pink hair and made this story line since chapter 73 or before. And the picture from the last volume is also a hint about who is with whom.)
I think Aiura and Reita have spent time together (as a friend? I don't know) and Saiki just ignores them (season 2 ep 24).

(Explanation: This scene does not appear in the manga. Appears only in the anime. We can see Reita holding Mikoto´s shoulder and saying "Don't run away. I can't deal with him myself". That means he needs Mikoto´s help. He did not ask Saiki about it and Saiki doesn't interfere with them.
I have to be direct here. What did Reita say? It was a pick-up line indirect way. When boys and girls in manga or in reality have to confess, they need to be brave to say it, but some want to just say it in an indirect way. Example in the picture below.
"If you don't come home with me" later on, he means he wants her to be his wife and comes home with him. Strange pick up line, but what Reita says is a hint from the sensei. Even though Mikoto seems uncomfortable, she doesn't hate Reita. For a westerner, it might be ok to hold friend like that, but i am not a westerner. If a man (who i don't have feelings for) holds me like that, I will push him away.If Kosumi feels uncomfortable, Saiki will say something. Unlike in this situation, Saiki just ignores them. Don't forget that he can read minds.
We don't see Reita and Mikoto in a romantic situation. Only when they share the same room at the hotel. (maybe they don't have enough money or there is no more available room - irony) Just fight and make arguments like some couples in manga.
If my man blames me that he has to wait for me in the same hotel room with woman-friend. She told him to take a bath which he did. This is me, me, me, me, me and me.
But the main focus character is Saiki, not them and that's why we don't see that. But sensei just wants to add this scene and it means a hint. It is pretty clear to me in the picture of the last volume who ends up with whom).
3. Saiki starts to like Kokomi. He doesn't know about love yet. The same as Kokomi who was not sure that she liked Saiki in the beginning.
At the mixer, Even Kokomi had a good time, she still thought of Saiki being with her. Saiki had a plan to sway Kokomi’s heart, but Kokomi sways his heart instead. He felt guilty that he used a dirty plan to get rid of Kokomi. And from this chapter Saiki is more open to Kokomi because he feels ashamed of what he did to Kokomi. He owned her a lot. These three guys are not deserve her because these guys did not pay attention to Chiyo without Saiki´s power.
Saiki did not use his power when Kokomi drew a card (chapter 55 vs. 202).
He cares about her more than before. He could pretend that Aiura was his girlfriend, but he did not do it. This chapter he said offu. Chapter 214
He carries Kokomi to infirmary in front of people. Kokomi tried so hard to be kindness and popular. Saiki could use power to do it, but no one deserve Kokomi. No one noticed how tried she was. Just only him noticed her. His feeling are angry to those men. Chapter 242
He cares about Kokomi, but he doesn't admit it. He is tsundere. chapter 260.
Chapter 279. You can read no. 4. He chooses Kokomi over Mikoto.
He doesn't want to be in Kokomi´s group because he doesn't want to stand out. Well, he is not ready for troublesome things (chapter 280)
And now he knows that he cares about Kokomi more than a friend (because he reacted when someone called Kokomi´s name. In manga does not have this reaction, but Asou sensei have this Saiki´s reaction when he heard Kokomo's name on his twitter and in anime). This shows that Saiki cares about Kokomi the most. He smiles and says he likes to deal with hassles after all. (Ready for troublesome things). He can't resist her anymore because he definitely like her. Chapter 281.
4. Who does Saiki end up with? Kokomi or Mikoto?
I don't want to compare these two beautiful girls, but the purpose is that some of you still think that Saiki will end up with Aiura. So let's compare the pictures below. I am sorry.
Kokomi´s confession: Saiki is a little blushing Mikoto´s confession: ...
Chapter 227. Reaction when Kokomi and Mikoto met his grandfather and grandmother.
Reaction when kokomi and Mikoto find out that they are Saiki´s family.
What is the reason he has to go back in time, and what he did, made his friends not remember about hugging, many Saiki´s (the power) and confession. Saiki knows that his friends will accept him for who he is (he has a power). So, this is not the reason he went back in time. He said that he felt bad about Chiyo´s confession. I mean he does not need to go back in time, just put the device on to seal his power and say to his friends about the power, but he went back in time anyway. Well, the reason is not about the power and the confession. So, there is only one thing left. What is the worth for Saiki then?
The pictures show that Reita, Saiki and Mikoto stand next to each other, but his friend asked where Saiki would go. If Saiki Reita and Mikoto disappear together, they will mention their names. That means Saiki went back in time one day alone. He didn´t take Reita and Mikoto with him because of the butterfly effect. He could manage this alone after he knew what and where was going to happen.
Think about what Kokomi said "stayed with me". I think it's a hint from sensei. It appears after Mikoto says your friends will still accept you and he says yeah. Kokomi says (I combine 2 situations) Saiki could read Kokomi's thoughts (what she thinks when she sees they are hugging) and he still stayed with Kokomi.
I mean, I did mention chapter 214 when she saw Mikoto with Saiki, and Saiki cares about Kokomi´s feeling. He doesn't want to hurt her feelings about hugging either, and he is not the type of the person who would try to explain to her about it.
Well, Saiki doesn't hate Mikoto when she hugs him, but it is pretty clear to me that he chooses to stay with Kokomi over Mikoto. That's why he went back in time and that's why Mikoto did appear just two boxes in the next and last two chapters (chapter 280 and 281). And the last chapter, it shows Saiki cares Kokomi the most.
5. Asou sensei has a plan that Saiki will end up with Kokomi from the beginning. Please respect that.
the vote, the hairstyle, Reita has pink hair like Saiki, match color
Saiki and Kokomi have the same birthday month (August 6 and 16). Mikoto and Reita also have the same birthday month (September 7 and September 10). Saiki's father x mother and grandpa x grandma have the same birthday month. The first name of Saiki´s family begins with k and Kokomi's name begins with K.
Kokomi began to talk to Saiki and has the feeling for him on her birthday. She asked for a decent man and saw Saiki. Saiki´s father asks God about a nice girlfriend for his son, and Kokomi appears. Throughout the series, we can see the romantic moments and develop characters and personalities between them. For example, chocolate on valentines day, indirect kiss, holding Kokomi in front of people. Asou sensei likes this couple very much. He changed Kokomi's hairstyle like his wife's, and he tweeted that Saiki´s tie and kokomi´s sweater were the same color in 2022. (This is common for couples because even my husband's tie matched my dress when we attended the party). When kokomi and saiki get 1st and 2nd votes, he draws the crowns for them like a king and queen.
These are theories with evidence from anime and manga. Without sensei´s hint, Reita has pink hair. I would think Saiki and Kokomi would be girlfriend and boyfriend, but Saiki would marry Mikoto in the end.
Well, the picture for the last volume is pretty clear to me that Saiki ends up with Teruhashi Kokomi. Kokomi holds him on the shoulder (picture from last volume) like Reita holds Mikoto´s shoulder (season 2 ep 24). Kokomi's hair drops down on Saiki´s shoulder. That means they stand very close. Kokomi's brother looks at them with a smile and Chiyo looks at Kokomi with a smile. They are happy for them.
Update: Saiki admits that he is tsundere, not aroace

「ツンデレ歴はアンタのほうが長いからな」
→ “You've been a tsundere longer than me.” I understand and translate it without (歴) And Psi scan is good too. “Your tsundere record (歴) is longer than mine”
「今回は僕がデレてやるよ」
→ “I'll be the one to be the ‘dere’ side this time.”
Ps. my English is not that good, so I translate like this.
Vocabulary:
「ツンデレ(tsundere) 歴 (history) は アンタ(you) のほうが (than) 長いからな (longer)」
ps. Tsun is acting cold and dont care that opposite of his feeling. You can see Seiki`s grandpa act like he doesn't care, being cold in front of Kusuo, but his acting is different when he is in another room alone.
There is no me. As you know japanese language doesn’t have subject unless the conversation has change the topic. Me refer to Kusuo because this sentence compares grandpa with someone who is tsundere which is Kusuo the one who is talking and the one who is going to show “dere”.
「今回 (for this time) は 僕 (I) が デレて (‘dere’, be nice, in this context for grandpa can be care, kind and nice, but for couple = love, kind, care) やるよ(do it for you)」
Explain:
I will group some word together. Example が デレて
が is a link between the subject and the verb. 僕が means I will...て is a verb that changes デレ (dere) from adj to verb. Both don't mean much in a sentence. It just acts as a conjunction.
At the end grandpa and Kusuo wanted to be “dere”, but they are being “tsun” to each other because they are tsundere in front of the one they like. 😆😆😂😂
Ps. I have seen manga and anime. Kusuo is being “dere” just only Teruhashi of course in the way she is never known or noticed. For example he is invisible to be on the date and give an indirect kiss, carrying her to infirmary, follow newspaper club and doesn’t admit that he helps her. Saiki acts like this because he is tsundere.
Thanks for reading 😊

I’ve finished rewatching the first season and now 7 episodes into the second, I wanted to point out a few things that caught my attention this time :
Saiki fulfilled Teruhashi’s biggest wish in the very first episode. Albeit it was because of his shock, seeing her convince herself that she was in love with him, he still said offu.
Teruhashi wasn’t interested in Saiki in the beginning after their first meeting. She even tried to convince herself a few times afterwards that she doesn’t care about him. Initially she just wanted to get a reaction from him because he hurt her ego, however, what she wanted to hear from out of self-esteem became what she saw as reciprocation of her feelings.
By the end of the season, Teruhashi was completely in love with Saiki regardless of how indifferent he acted to her. She was confident enough about her feelings that she even shared it with Yumehara.
Teruhashi always wanted a rich guy and she admitted it when men approached her at the beach during the school trip. But later when Saiko proposed to her, she straight up rejected him and was bold enough to actually tell him that she loved Saiki. We see her inner monologue that she couldn’t accept what Saiko did to her friends and Saiki.
Teruhashi actually made Saiki nervous during their little chitchat in the sweet shop while he was transformed into Kuriko. Despite having the power to control the situation, somehow all Saiki did was mess up by knocking over his bag and ultimately had to lie about being Saiki’s sister. If only he had listened to Teruhashi’s confession silently, which he could because she wouldn’t know it was him to begin with.
When Teruhashi asked Saiki out on a date while Makoto’s shooting was going on, he said yes because she inwardly said she’d die if he rejected her lol. He could do anything to prevent Makoto’s team from meeting Teruhashi while not having to spend time with her, not that she’d actually die lmao.
Saiki actually had a new year card for Teruhashi and he was mulling over whether or not he should give it to her right outside her house lol.
Can’t believe I had missed this many details during my first watch.
