"Priest of Peaches. Haiku Poet."A place to put the silly poetry written by my World of Warcaft character. Mostly haikus but maybe some other junk too.

Uldum Dream
White mist forms over the oasis, Star river flows into empty dark. Waking up all covered in my sweat, Dreaming of you again in Uldum.

Sketches from Stormwinds Canals
Candlelight flickers - A love boat on Stormwind Lake sits beneath the moon
Rose bushes open - The White Lady sheds herself across Stormwind Lake
With drunken laughter wandering Stormwinds Canals - The call of an owl
Someone stops and asks "What kind of fish do they catch?" - Stormwind Fisherman
Stars rise over stones - The sound of water pouring from a lions mouth
Falling asleep, drunk - A gnome offers me coffee in Stormwinds Canals
Barrels and boxes after barrels and boxes - walking Stormwinds Canals

Reflections in Desolace
Buzzards descend on kodo graveyard, and herds wander into nameless grey. I ask myself riding through the mist, "Is this all lives thunder ever comes to?" But rays of An'she break through endless clouds and from out the rocks burst spots of green. As then I see the Earth Mother smile, It's taken for my questions answer.

Some haiku on the subject of Quel'thalas, 2
Mana worms scatter at the Sanctum of the Moon a ruined book shelf
In the haze of dawn sinking into mana pools - Sanctum of the Moon
Thalassian Pass - Ghostly memories within a roadside lantern
This, our rune scarred flesh - The glacier of time marches across Quel'thalas

Some haiku on the subject of Quel'thalas
My heart was left there smoldering like the phoenix - Silvermoon City
A fit of laughter - The sun continues to rise over Tranquil Shore
Motes of falling sun over Golden Mist Village - Elrendar River
As it's mouth empties even the murloc huts rot - Elrendar river

Feathermoon Separation
Stars become crystal over Feathermoon, Water falls what seems like ten thousand feet. From this bridge gazing at the Forgotten Coast, My heart runs restless as it yearns for you.

While resting on the steps of Wyrmrest Temple, I gazed out upon the massive dragon bones lying there in the snow. It then occurred to me that the Archbishop is said to have been felled beneath this very place. Thinking about how once so holy a man could succumb to despair, I began to weep.
In the snowy fields where dragons dream forever - A priest finds some rest.

For the Archbishop
Snow drifts across the steps of Wyrmrest Temple. Ice forms on the broken Path of Titans. Looking into the eyes of a dragon, A priests heart is filled with only despair.

On Stone Cairn Lake
Elune shines her light over Stone Cairn Lake, While moss grows heavy on the ancient rocks. Seldom a passerby pays respects now: Nothing but an old knight, standing wine drunk.

Song from Azuremyst
Purple mist pervades the heavens, Winds gently whisper through the pines. As the tides roll between my toes, I think I hear the Naarus chimes.

[ In Booty Bay I was able to reunite with an old childhood friend. We had been separated since the plague. She confided in me that she had recently retired from the Blood Knights over a crisis of faith. Remembering the gist of some old foggy sermon, I told her that great doubt is but the egg of even greater faith. After these and further words of encouragement she seemed to have a newfound spirit. We spent the next few nights drinking, laughing, and discussing aesthetic matters for fun. I composed this haiku one humid morning as we watched the sunrise. ]
In contemplation a blood elf paladin drinks coconut water
A Priests Commentary : "The transcendent contemplation of the Light on the part of the paladin is made immanent through the mundane act of her quenched thirst in the drinking of coconut water..."
Another Priests Commentary : "As the ship wrecked traveller finds sustenance in penetration of the coconut, so us lost and wandering souls take nourishment from our contemplations of the Holy Light."
