Not being very active on twitter or tiktok is fun because you'll occasionally get wind of some Discourse that makes hundreds of thousands of people extremely mad but you'll have the luxury of just going, "wow, that's stupid", and moving on while everyone else continues to suffer from rage induced aneurysms over pointless nonsense every waking hour

Might have to take a break from OFMD. I know that what people say at conventions doesn't really matter -- they really do just say things, a show is a collaborative process and no one person is an authority, etc -- but it really hurts to see your abusers in a character and then hear that the creator loves and relates to that character (and yes, the second season that we all thought was about Ed was instead about the guy who admitted to hurting him).

One thing I’m really enjoying about Monster Con is that they’re touching more on the fact that Liam is an old man. He’s got the sleeping cap, nightie and candle pyjamas, he’s secretly really rich because he’s got generations of money saved up, he volunteers a bunch, has taken in Omen, and he basically parents the con friendgroup.
