my worst nightmare is a simple and recurring one but it’s me being stuck in the deep ocean with a bunch of sharks and they all just end up looking at me and swimming right at me at full speed. i swear i cannot handle sleeping after i wake up from that.

at that moment where the other had recognized her, pearl’s heart stopped but then started up again just to beat rapidly. she had known that there would’ve been some time where she would finally be found by someone from her hometown. “ bambi? ” clearly pearl wasn’t that familiar with the citizens in her old town, she mainly cared about herself and her close friends before she up and left that town in minnesota. “ i-i live here in bonehill, what are you doing here in utah? did someone send you? do people know i’m h e r e ? ”

there was nothing better than a monday afternoon where pearl and her recently discovered soulmate could grab a quick cup of coffee. while pearl’s order came out better than expected ( still not extraordinary though ), you couldn’t say the same about evelyn however. she could tell from the look at her friend’s eyes when she took the first sip that the request came out sub par. “ i swear NO ONE in the town can make a decent cup of coffee, it’s sad.. ” pearl had to take some time to figure out what coffee shops were actually decent and the only one’s she could find were out of state, entering nevada territory. the girl chuckled in a wholesome manner, ignoring the barista the other had just complained to. “ you said that to her?? your life is so fabulous, i wish i had lived in new york with you. we’d take manhattan by storm. serena and blaire who?? ”

Billie rocked her hips back and forth idly, running her thumb around the lip of the beer can she was nursing. She hadn’t realized just how out of shape she was when it came to social interaction - this was the first large event she’d been to since moving to Bone Hill, and it wasn’t exactly like she was ever the new kid at parties back in Moorhead. “C’mon, dude, just enjoy it,” she muttered to herself. Sighing, she threw back her head dramatically to polish off the beer, only to lose her balance. She yelped as she fell to the floor, the can landing on the concrete next to her with a clink. “Fuck,” she moaned, rubbing her ass and grimacing.

pearl was usually all for parties but the setting of a rave wasn’t much her scene. she thought she could go for some light dancing near a few acquaintances for a while, the blonde swaying around for some time before realizing what a total buzz this party was. pearl had made the conscious decision to go back to the apartment to rest and get out of the gross and dirty hospital. on her way out she managed to see a wipeout a familiar face took. no one else was helping out the girl that just took a spill so pearl took it upon herself to have to help her get up. “maybe lay off on the drinks from now on,” she stated as she held out her hand for the other to grab.
