Luka is your beloved boyfriend. You’ve been with him for a while now, and thus you know about his many illnesses.

He has it all, congenital heart disease, chronic migraines, and severe asthma. You really chose the sickly Victorian boy to be your lover, huh? Despite all his illnesses, you adore Luka. Except for when he gets sick, all of his issues make it ten times worse. A simple common cold can leave him bed bound for a week. That can be a bit frustrating for you.

He’s had a couple asthma flare ups in the past, but not a full blown attack in a while. The last time was when he was rehearsing for a really big show. There was a lot of choreography and singing involved. It didn’t help that the dance instructor was very mean. She didn’t care that he had asthma, and she overworked him till he had an asthma attack. You thought that if he didn’t exert himself like that he wouldn’t have another attack, right? You were wrong.

This time it was a stress and illness induced attack. He had another big event, and was really practicing hard for that. On top of that, he had a bad cold. He’s been sick for a few days now, every time you think he’s getting better there’s another awful flare up around the corner. But never a full blown attack..

Until now, he’s been sleeping relatively soundly. Then he woke up feeling absolutely awful and feverish. He asked you for some water and a light snack, of course you agreed. He ended up eating a bit too fast, causing him to choke. What happens when you choke? Coughing. Lots of it.

He felt like he couldn’t stop, and each cough and heave was excruciatingly painful. The coughing fit escalated into a full blown asthma attack. His body was trying to reject the foreign object, but it just wouldn’t work. Eventually the coughs turned to painful heaves, and he ended up vomiting on the bed. At least he wasn’t choking anymore..? Yes, but he was still dealing with the asthma attack. Through the coughing and wheezing he was able to faintly croak out:

• “I-Inhaler…please..”

You of course obliged, quickly administering the medicine. After a few moments he was able to calm down, but he felt emotionally drained and exhausted.

There was vomit staining the bed, so you cleaned him and the sheets up and tucked him back in. You could tell he felt embarrassed and ashamed. He was rather quiet and didn’t make eye contact with you while you cleaned him up. That’s how you could tell.

After you reassure him, he feels better emotionally. But he’s still in physical pain. His stomach is hurting from vomiting so forcefully, and his throat is dry and sore. But most of all, he needs you. He needs some comfort reassurance right now. He needs to know that you still love him, and you’re not mad at him for throwing up on the bed.

You notice his silent plea for comfort, and crawl next to him in bed. You hold him to your chest, feeling the feverish heat from his body against yours. You don’t really mind though, it’s like holding an adorable human heater. His already fever-flushed face becomes an even darker shade of pink as you do this. He doesn’t pull away though, if anything he wants more.

It’s not much longer later that he falls asleep. The fever, asthma attack and vomiting really tired him out, huh? As he sleeps cuddled against you, can hear his breathing. It’s still slightly shallow, and you can hear a bit of a wheeze too. You’re just happy he’s comfy enough to sleep.

He sleeps relatively peacefully the rest of the night. He stays sleeping for almost the whole time, except for when you wake him for meds. You can even see him smiling in his sleep, and he mumbles something subconsciously: “I love you..”

•”Me too, Luka.”

Sick Levi!

•Sick Levi would be a BITCH to care for. Constantly denying that he’s sick, and that he can care for himself, (which he can! But let us do this for you)

•Does NOT want to pull away from work, and thinks he can “tough it out” (bitch please you’re about to pass out)

•Would complain, “you’re hovering too much” “I can do that myself” “This soup is ass” 

•You’re tempted to slap him, but thankfully don’t <3

•He won’t ask for help unless he’s REALLY sick. Like gonna pass out, can’t even hold down water type of sick. 

•He won’t say it outwardly, but he genuinely enjoys and appreciates you caring for him

•We know Levi had a tough childhood, so he’s not used to being doted on and cared for like this. It’s new and foreign to him, so he’s not sure how to react besides acting annoyed and upset.

•With time, he’ll get used to you taking care of him when he needs it. Eventually asking for help too! 

•Overall, a 4/10 to take care of.

Sick Hanji!

-HANJI MY WIFE I LOVE HERJSJFKDJE

•Hanji, like Levi would not want to pull away from work. I hc her as having autism or adhd, so when she’s hyper fixating on something you CANNOT pry her away from it.

•After some convincing, she’ll realize she’s better off if she takes a break and doesn’t overwork herself

•I don’t think she has the best self care, Id imagine her getting wrapped up in her projects. Then forgetting to eat or shower because of it. 

•If you don’t step in, I honestly don’t think she’ll get better, so it’s good you did!

•I think she would be a little embarrassed about letting herself get this bad. Just reassure her and she’ll learn to love you doting on her! 

•She loves blankets! Bring her at least 5 if you want her to be really happy!

•Overall, a 7/10. She’s a little stubborn at first, but warms up after an hour or two!

Sick Erwin!

(I didn’t have much inspo or ideas for Erwin but I tried!)

•I think he wouldn’t want to accept help, but he would, reluctantly.

•After some time, he would learn to love being cared for! But would never admit that. He secretly loves when you dote and fuss over him, but don’t tell the scouts that!

•Despite this, he feels kinda guilty for needing your help. And he thinks that you should be doing better things than helping him.

•Just reassure him that you want to be there to help him. He’ll light up!

•Unlike Levi, he’ll be sure to tell you how thankful he is that you’re helping him.

•He knows that he can’t work well if he’s sick, so he’ll take a break willingly, he won’t push himself if he knows it won’t be worth it.

•Erwin would be a pretty easy patient! He doesn’t argue about “not needing medicine”, like some short king I know..

•Overall, a very easy patient! 9/10.

(Haii again! I had a kinda hard time writing this, but I’m happy with how it turned out in the end! It was my first headcanons with so many people! Feedback is appreciated <3 And btw, I’ll be scoring them on how easy they are to care for!)

𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧:

•Average stomach, not super sensitive but also not super strong. The only thing that he can’t handle is spice. (canon)

•Won’t ask anyone for help, and won’t accept it either. He will insist he’s fine, but it’s an obvious lie.

•Very good patient, doesn’t fight back against medicine or food.

•It takes a lot for him to admit he doesn’t feel good. And when he does, it’s serious.

•He also gets acid reflux when his tummy is sick. I burns his throat, which makes the vomiting and heaving that much worse…

•He doesn’t like having his stomach touched, but likes other physical affection. Loves cuddles and hugs! But hatesss having his stomach touched, its sensitive

•Overall score: 7/10 patient. Stubborn and difficult at first, but gets better.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐧:

•Almost NEVER gets sick. And when he does it’s nothing worse than a common cold.

•He’s pretty much the same when he’s sick, just a bit more sleepy and cuddly.

•Another very good patient, will always take his meds on his own AND on time.

•He doesn’t really need someone to take care of him.

•But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want it! He loves being doted on and cared for, but will never admit that

•Eats a lot of comfort food when he doesn’t feel good. And his stomach isn’t sensitive so he doesn’t have to worry about getting sick.

•(The other members are sooooo jealous lmao)

•Overall score: 10/10! Very good patient, not whiny or clingy, and takes his meds :3

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐡𝐨:

•Doesn’t usually get tummy sicknesses. It’s usually a fever or a respiratory thing.

•But when a sickness does affect his stomach, it’s absolute torture.

•His stomach can never settle, it’s always upset and hurting him. When he’s not throwing up, his stomach is churning and making these awful noises.

•He can’t hold anything down, not even medicine. So he can’t do anything to relieve his pain ):

•He likes having someone hold his belly or rest their hand on it, not necessarily rubbing. He just likes the warmth and pressure, it helps.

•Kinda just sleeps a lot, very quiet and doesn’t talk much. Except for gasps and soft whimpers of pain </3

•The other members are heartbroken by this, so Minho gets all the attention he wants.

•Overalk score: 8/10. He’s not a bad patient, he’s just kinda hard to take care of because he’s so sick.

𝐇𝐚𝐧:

•DRAMA QUEEN

•Lays down on the couch dramatically and lays his arm over his face. Then loudly proclaims he’s dying.

•He literally has a common cold.

•Usually he gets a mild sickness and is HELLA dramatic about it. But other times he’s REALLY sick and plays it down.

•If you know he’s sick and isn’t being dramatic, that’s when you should worry.

•Also despises medicine, but unlike that sensitive little shit Jeongin, (jk I love him he’s my bias <3) he actually takes his meds.

•Absolutely craves attention from the other members. They know this and are happy to give it to him <3

•Overall score: 7/10, he’s not a bad patient, just dramatic !

𝐉𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧:

•He has a slightly more sensitive than average tummy.

•When he doesn’t feel good he doesn’t hide it. He knows that others will help him, so why make yourself suffer alone?

•Goes to Seungmin or Hyunjin to take care of him. Because they’re the closest to him <3

•HATES pill medicine. He despises the taste, texture, the feeling of swallowing it. He just despises it.

•He can tolerate the liquid kind, but when his tummy is upset he can’t keep it down. So he just suffers with no medicine a lot.

•(By his own stubbornness, don’t feel bad)

•However, he lovesss drinking tea. Chamomile for a sore throat, ginger for his tummy, you name it.

•Has an entire pharmacy of tea because of his hatred for medicine.

•Overall score: 6/10 patient. Him but refusing medicine can be frustrating 🥀

𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱:

•SENSITIVEEE TUMMY. Like genuinely can’t handle shit. 💔

•He’s lactose intolerant, but doesn’t gaf. Will eat ice cream, cakes, milkshakes, boba and regret it later.

•Never learns his lessons, and always forgets lactaid pills. And would rather die than not miss out on a sweet treat because of lactose intolerance.

•Food poisoning and stomach flus DESTROY him. Like he’s out of commission for 4 days to a week.

•Gets the most painful tummy cramps. He’s clutching his belly on the verge of tears kinda painful.

•Unlike Seungmin, he loves belly rubs and cuddles. He can’t fall asleep unless someone is there to comfort him.

•Thankfully, he doesn’t get super high fevers. And he won’t fight against medicine or remedies, no matter how nasty they are.

•Overall score: 4/10, he gets a low score because he gets really clingy.

𝐒𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐦𝐢𝐧:

•Confusing?? Let me try to explain.

•He wants to be alone, but will get sad if someone actually goes away.

•Does NOT want to be touched. When he’s sick his body gets so achy and sore, and even gentle touches hurt.

•Prefers someone keeping him company and stay nearby if he wants attention rather than physical affection.

•Says he wants someone to help him, then changes his mind and wants to take care of himself. Very on and off.

•He’s like this because of high fever honestly. It’s frying his brain and making him indecisive.

•It can be very frustrating for the caretaker though. The other members have snapped at him a few times because of it.

•(Ooh angst potential should I write it?)

•Overalk score: 5/10. Being so indecisive is hard 💔

𝐇𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐧:

•ANOTHER DRAMA QUEEN

•Unlike Han, he actually has a good reason to be dramatic. He’s genuinely very sick.

•He gets sick semi-often, but more so during fall and winter. Which is a shame, his favorite season is autumn.

•Another sensitive tummy sufferer. Stomach flus and food poisoning are the death of him.

•Which sucks cause he gets those the most..

•Also loves cuddles and attention, he’s not shy to ask for it either! He also gets pretty sensitive and emotional.

•Takes his medicine like a good patient too, except for food. He doesn’t want to eat, he knows it’ll upset his stomach even worse and make him puke..

•HATES throwing up, it’s so painful for him. He cries almost every time he pukes.

•Which sucks for him, he throws up almost every two hours when he has a stomach flu..

•Overall score: 6/10, he gets emotional, clingy, and he refuses to eat. But he’s cute so I forgive him!

Sick Hyunjin x Reader

(Hii! Thank you for my first request! Hope you guys like it. Please give me more requests! <3)

“ℝ𝕖𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕧𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕤𝕦𝕔𝕙 𝕤𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕥 𝕕𝕒𝕪𝕤.”

You and Hyunjin have been together for a while, about a year and a half at this point. However, because of his contract you can’t make your relationship public. Which honestly, is a good thing. You don’t want the spotlight, and you’re happy to keep your relationship private. You don’t need the world to see that you care about each other. You love him dearly, and he feels the same, that’s enough for you.

     You were sitting on the couch in your shared apartment, waiting for him to come back from practice. He got back very late, at around 10pm, which was sadly normal. As soon as you heard the front door unlock, you perked up your head and looked to the source of the sound. He came in the door, and you noticed he was stumbling. He seemed so dizzy and lightheaded. So you instantly came over to him and wrapped your arm around his waist to support him. 

-“Hey, what’s going on with you? Are you okay..?”

     He didn’t say anything except for a small whimper and a weak shake of his head. It was normal for him to be sweaty and exhausted after practice, but never this bad… He was drenched in sweat, and shaking and shivering under your touch. This broke your heart, you’ve never seen him this tired from practice.

      You set him down on the couch, and push his sweaty bangs away from his forehead. While you did that, you felt how he  badly was burning up. It was like touching a hot furnace, and it can’t be comfortable for him. Once he’s settled, you go to the bathroom to get the med kit. Using the thermometer from inside, you place it in his mouth under his tongue. 

     After 30 or so seconds, it beeps. The thermometer reads 39c (102.2f.) You wince in sympathy seeing the number. Hyunjin notices this, and he looks distressed seeing your response.

•”How high is it..? Is it really that bad..?”

     He asks worriedly.

-“Yeah honey, it’s pretty bad. 39 degrees..”

     He cringes at the high number, feeling anxious at how sick he is. 

•”That’s really bad, isn’t it..?”

     He asks quietly. Somehow just hearing how high his fever is makes him more miserable.

-“Yeah, you’re right, Jinnie. That’s a pretty bad fever, but don’t worry. I’m gonna take care of you~”

      You say in a honeyed tone as you card your hand through his hair. Trying your best to comfort him despite his anxiety. And it works, he smiles at you, his glassy and teary eyes full of trust. Despite how miserable he is, knowing that you’ll be there to love on him and take care of him helps. 

•”Thank you..”

     He says weakly, his voice strained and sore. But he truly means it, and he’s very thankful he has you to look after him. 

-“Of course, my love. Let’s get you taken care of, okay?”

     You say affectionately as you press a kiss to his feverish cheek. Then you stand up to get him something to eat. You return with some crackers, they’re bland and easy to digest. You don’t know if his stomach can handle normal foods, and you don’t want to take that chance. He eats the crackers without complaint, then takes the medicine you give him. 

-“How is it settling in your tummy? You feel okay?”

     He takes a moment to think, placing his hand on his tummy as he hums in thought.

•”I don’t know…it still hurts, and feels kinda unsettled…But not like I’m gonna throw up.”

-“I’m sorry honey, let’s just give it some time to settle. In the meantime, how about some cuddles~?”

     Hyunjin lights up at that. Cuddles always make him feel better. He curls up on your lap and rests his head on your chest. He looks like a sleepy cat, his eyes are already slowly starting to close. You run your hand through his hair, and your other hand is resting on his tummy. 

-“You comfy~?”

     You ask him sweetly, keeping your voice calm and gentle as he’s falling asleep. He only makes a humming noise in response. He’s way too sleepy to actually talk. He looks precious right now, and you can’t help but want to hold him even closer to you.

     5 minutes later he falls asleep. You feel his forehead, he’s still burning up, but not nearly as hot as earlier. You sigh in relief, now that you know he’s getting better you can finally relax. You both fell asleep cuddled up on the couch.
