Don't let Donovan's expression fool you, he's on top of the world and nothing in his life has ever felt so right. Pushing out a baby as big as his just inevitably gets exhausting after a couple hours.

The Weight of the Secret: Daniel’s Pregnancy
Tumblr media
Daniel was a 25-year-old guy, tall and athletic, with brown hair and piercing eyes. He had always been an adventurous type, but not in the traditional sense. His life was a series of brief and intense encounters, never tying himself down to anyone. This lifestyle gave him a sense of freedom and adrenaline that he loved.
One day, however, he started noticing strange changes in his body. At first, he thought it was just fatigue, but then the symptoms became more evident: morning sickness, sudden cravings for food, and a strange sensation of bloating.
Confused and worried, he decided to see a doctor. After various tests, the doctor gave him incredible news: Daniel was pregnant! Initially, Daniel couldn't believe it. How could it be possible? But the symptoms were clear, and the tests didn't lie.
Daniel decided to face this new adventure with courage, but as time passed, the pressure and fear of others' judgment led him to isolate himself. He didn't tell his friends or family, preferring to retreat to his room, away from curious glances and incessant questions.
By the eighth month of pregnancy, Daniel spent most of his time in his room, a safe haven where he could reflect without being judged. Despite everything, Daniel hated how his body had changed. He felt clumsy and awkward, unable to move with the same agility as before. Every movement was a constant reminder of his condition. The morning sickness, which had never left him, made it difficult to even start the day.
His skin, once smooth, now showed stretch marks, and his hair seemed more fragile and dull. Every time he looked in the mirror, he saw a stranger reflected back. "This isn't me anymore," he thought, feeling a knot in his stomach.
One evening, as the rain beat against the window, he sat on the bed, caressing his belly. He felt the baby's movements, little kicks that reminded him of the reality of his condition. With a deep sigh, he began to reflect on everything that had happened.
"How did I get to this point?" he wondered. Memories of the first symptoms, the surprise of the diagnosis, and the decision to face it all alone passed through his mind. He felt overwhelmed by loneliness and the fear of others' judgment.
He looked at the photos on the wall, images of happy moments with friends and family. Now, however, he felt distant from everyone. "If only they knew," he thought, "if only I could explain to them what I'm going through."
But there was also a part of him that found strength in this unique experience. He felt a deep connection with the baby he was carrying, a bond that no one could understand. "I'm doing this for us," he whispered, "and one day, all of this will make sense."
With these reflections, Daniel lay down, seeking comfort in the thought that, despite everything, he was doing something extraordinary. He closed his eyes, letting the sound of the rain lull him into a peaceful sleep.
