I went to the Q+A with Pierce Brown last night and he said the favorite thing about writing Mustang’s POV is that he got to write her perspective and feelings about Darrow which gives me so much hope for all the Darrow and Mustang content we need (and deserve) in book 6

Ok but the fact that we get ZERO information about Darrow and Virginia’s wedding in any of the books is a travesty and it is my dearest hope that we get a *crumb* of information about it in book 6 like I’m picturing Darrow having a flashback during brooding time and we can see everyone be happy for ONCE it would just be so nice

As someone who studies animal behavior yes to all of this and that’s why I love my field so much

Two of my favourite things about animal behaviour studies:

1. It’s a recognised phenomenon that if you’re working with some of the more intelligent critters, sometimes they’ll figure out what you’re testing for and start deliberately providing the “wrong” response to every single test.

2. The researcher who’s writing up the paper is not allowed to say “clearly the little bastards are just fucking with us”, because that would be inappropriately anthropomorphising the subjects, but you can 100% tell that they’re thinking it.
