okay look. the harley quinn animated show is INCREDIBLY ANTISEMITIC. it is impossible to enjoy the show while removing that context from it. it doesn’t matter that harley and ivy are together. you can not ignore jewish voices about this.
goyim can reblog but do not clown on this post

hey... anybody else not overly impressed with how they handled Mysterio in Far From Home? they changed so much of his set-up/backstory/personality.... idk he just felt really off to me... very disappointed over all
#I really... didn't like it at all tbh#It's one of my least favorite takes on Beck#Mysterio#Far From Home#I Believe txt

The Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #193
I love this, but it baffles me. I’ve been skipping around to follow Beck’s appearances, so I thought, hey, maybe the guide I’m using missed an issue, but no, they literally just have Beck appear as a nursing home director with no explanation. And absolutely no one recognizes him? He’s already used this alias and was revealed, very publicly, to be a phony doctor, and he’s not wearing any kind of disguise. But nobody suspects him. Incredible.

The Amazing Spider-Man (1963) Annual #4
There’s a serious missed opportunity here. I for one would have loved to see Mysterio and the Wizard engage in a prolonged illusion fight where one attempts to fire upon the other only to discover that they’re actually facing a projection or a robot or an incredibly life-like statue, and this just goes on and on and on potentially forever ala this gif from Bleach:

The Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #13
So, I’m reading through Beck’s major appearances in celebration of his official film debut, and I’m just blow away by this intro in his first comic.
He makes a dramatic entrance, immediately gets made fun of for his ridiculous costume, and lies nonstop about literally everything. Like that’s it. You’ve reduced him down to his most essential elements. That’s just Beck in a nutshell.
