This is my friend Bailey (@youretheonlyoneofyou). She is one of the most hilarious people I know (especially on Twitter, see the screenshot above). She’s funny, smart, honest, and brave! She’s been living in NYC for the last few years and is going to be surrounded by friends this month in the city for the release of Lover. I got to see her earlier this summer when I visited NYC for the first time- lots of hugs, laughs, and vegan donuts were had!

It would me absolutely everything to her (and tbh to me, I’m rooting for her so hard) to get to see you soon and give hugs and have a great conversation! If you’ve got any fun plans in NYC for the album release and need friends to share them with, Bailey is your girl! 💗🌈🏙🏹

reasons why I love cornelia street so so so so so so so so so much

she captures this feeling that a place can be so closely connected to a memory that if the memory were to end up being bad, you don’t ever want to go back to that place because it hurts so much

“drunk on something strong than the drinks at the bar” they’re literally drunk on love before he even went back to her place for the first time. he was the one from the very beginning.

All in all this song is literally the most beautiful song taylor has ever written…. You go back to the beginning of the relationship when she’s doubtful he wants to stay but she’s so in love that she wouldn’t even be able to go back to cornelia street if they broke up but then the song develops and he proves that he’s going to stay and he stays and THEY GO BACK TO CORNELIA STREET BC THEY CAN
