I did a zine workshop yesterday and this was the first zine I made. I think about pain scales a lot. This isn't super accurate, as I can have any of these feelings/experiences at any pain level. Except screaming. Screaming only happens at ten.
Also there's so many other ways to experience pain. Exhaustion, irritability, brain fog, depression, defeat. But mostly I just smile through it because I have a deep fear of inconveniencing other people.
Maybe I need to make a second version that digs into this more
