When their mother eventually remarried, meeting a kind man through her work, it was Gavin and his brother who took it upon themselves to make sure the transition was as smooth as possible. From a young age, Gavin found solace in the world of film. It was an escape, a passion, and eventually, a dream he was determined to chase. That dream led him to De La Salle - College of St. Benilde where he now studies BA Film, majoring in cinematography. He had left behind the familiarity of France for the chaos and beauty of Manila, but he had no regrets—this was where he was meant to be.

Outside his demanding life as a film student, Gavin carves out space for the things that bring him peace and joy—streaming games as a way to connect with others, and passionately following Formula 1, drawn to the precision and adrenaline of the sport. Though introverted, these pursuits let him express himself freely. Amid it all, a grounding relationship adds warmth and stability, helping him navigate the pressures of his ambitions. For Gavin, life is a delicate balancing act—one he approaches with the same care and composition he brings to his craft.
