im fully on team jargon but it's so useless and disingenuous to refer to criticism of it as 'anti intellectualism' lmao all that does is 1) alienate people who are trying to gain access to conversations they don't understand (actually more of a 'pro intellectualism' position if anything, though a clumsy one) and 2) fail to address what are usually reactionary ideological objections masquerading as rhetorical concerns (the old trick of declaring any analysis of imperialism, racism, transmisogyny, etc to be inherently inaccessible and élitist and therefore worthy of being suppressed and ignored)
