How They Became Demon Hunters HCs With Huntrix

Rumi

Her backstory is partially explained in the movie, and I built my own headcanons of how her parents met in another one of my post

However it’s very clear that she was raised by Celine to hate her demon side, wanting to hide and even destroy it from a very young age

She was constantly pushed towards being perfect in every aspect of her life, whether that be in sparring, singing, social skills etc

This was all done in the hopes of eventually getting rid of her marks and protecting the world

However, she also thought that being perfect would make up for the fact that she was a mistake

Despite not knowing exactly how her mum died, I believe she would still blame herself; thinking that being half demon brought misfortune to her mum

In regards to her father, she just pictured him as an evil figure that managed to trick her mum and never considered the fact that he may have been a good person

She would also be homeschooled and sheltered for most of her life, any public appearances done purposefully in order to build her life as an idol

Because of this she would be put on a lot of korean variety shows and do interviews when she was a teen in order to get public support early

On the side, she would also train and even hunt demons with Celine so she would be strong enough to lead the next generation of hunters

However the feeling of loneliness would constantly consume her since she had no one that could understand her life as a half-demon, and she didn’t have any genuine friendships at this point

Celine would notice this and tried to reassure Rumi that this was all for the greater good, and that the hunters were all she ever needed

However, this only worked to a certain extent

Eventually though, Celine would introduce Zoey to Rumi for the first time

Rumi finally felt like she could let her guard down a little, instantly bonding with the other teenage girl

She still felt insecure about her demon blood, and Celine warned her to not reveal anything about that side of her so she wouldn’t lose her new friend

So Rumi stayed silent, not saying anything about her heritage even after Mira came to join the group a few months later

Rumi vowed to do whatever it took to protect the world, even if that meant lying to those she loved

Mira

Similar to Rumi, Mira would most likely also be a legacy

However the difference being that not everyone in her family had hunter abilities, so a lot of them had no idea what demons even existed

This was further emphasized by the fact that most of her relatives that did carry these powers were deceased or estranged

Because of this, Mira always felt like the odd one out and never truly knew what made her so different

She tried to express how she felt through her clothing and artworks, but her family- being rather strict- didn’t appreciate her creativity

They refused to listen to her, causing Mira to act out in many ways

She often spent late nights outside by herself, doing whatever she felt like

From this she would spot her first demon, sucking the soul out of someone until they died

She didn’t know how to react, not fully understanding what she was seeing

Once she managed to snap out of her fear she would go to check on the victim, only to find the body was no longer there

From there she would just run, not knowing when to stop until she subconsciously came all the way back to her house

She wanted to scream and tell her parents what happened, but the moment she walked through those doors she realised they wouldn’t believe her and that she was truly alone

She would carry this fear with her as she got older, not truly knowing if there was something wrong with her brain and making her see these things

Sometimes she would try to fight the demons she saw, rarely succeeding due to her lack of proper training

She had to constantly see people because of this, traumatizing her even further

One day however, she was listening to a song and began singing, not noticing the demon in front of her until it began to get repulsed by the music and ran away

She tested this out the next time she found one, blasting the song towards it while fighting

This is when she realised the demons were weakened by the music

She’d track down the artist of the song, eventually finding Celine in a fan meet and trying to see if she knew anything about the monsters she was seeing

She’d try to be subtle at first, not fully revealing everything she saw just in case Celine thought she was crazy

Mira got her contact information, and was told to meet her in a couple days

From this Celine realised Mira also had hunter abilities, and began to train her in secret

Mira’s parents wouldn’t care about her extended absences, relieved that their daughter was no longer getting in trouble with the police or acting out at home

Celine would reveal what hunters and demons were, explaining their history

Mira was skeptical at first

However, with everything that had happened, she had no choice but to believe Celine and for the first time in her life she didn’t think she was crazy

They trained together for a couple months before Celine introduced Mira to two other young teenagers who had the gift; Rumi and Zoey

From then on Mira finally felt like she had a family, and would do everything she could to keep them together

Zoey

Zoey would be a partial legacy, with only one side of her family knowing about demons and hunters

She didn’t know of her abilities at first, thinking all the monsters she saw as a kid were just a figment of her imagination

Especially since by the time she looked back, one of her family members would be there innocently waving and telling her to go play

It wasn't until she was older was it revealed that she had hunter blood inside her, and that she could begin training to become one

Zoey would be ecstatic, believing she was a real life superhero; wanting to tell all her friends and the rest of the family about it

However, this idea was quickly crushed as it was explained to her the importance of protecting their secret; not wanting to worry others with matters they couldn’t control

They also believed it would keep the non-hunter family members safe if they didn’t know about demons or Gwi-Ma

From then on Zoey had to live a double life, training and hunting demons in secret while also pretending to be a normal girl

This was exhausting, especially since she hated lying to parts of her family and felt as though they couldn’t understand her if they didn’t know who she really was

Then with her hunter relatives, because they were all older than her, she constantly felt like she skilled enough to keep up with them

Therefore she was constantly trying to prove herself to both sides, being the perfect kid and warrior at the same time

Her only solace was writing lyrics and using them against demons, feeling as though this was the only time she could unapologetically be herself

However, all these negative feelings eventually began to hinder her training, since she felt too alone and unworthy to focus on fighting

One of her relatives got the idea of contacting a friend in Korea, sending Zoey there to meet them

She was then introduced Celine, who empathised with her difficulties living a double life

Being an idol and hunter, she understood the difficulties that came with lying to those you loved

However, she assured that Zoey that her fellow hunters would always be there to understand her

For a while, Celine assessed and developed Zoey’s skills, impressed with how she could make her own songs in such a short period of time

She then introduced her to Rumi, the two of them instantly connecting over this feeling of loneliness

To Zoey, it felt like they were the only people in the world that understood each other

When Mira came a couple months later, they welcomed her to their small family

Zoey couldn’t believe there were others her age who felt the same way she did, and never wanted any of them to feel alone again

How Rumi’s Parents Met HCs

a/n: Ryu is the name of Rumi’s mum

I personally believe her parents met when Ryu was by herself, patrolling the city when she spotted a demon lurking in an alleyway

Naturally she went to investigate, attacking instantly when she got close enough

However the demon didn’t fight back, merely defending itself and then disappearing as soon as it could

At first she thought it was strange, but just brushed it off as she went back to patrolling

However, when she spotted the same demon a couple days later, the exact same thing happened

She attacked, and he disappeared in an instant

This simultaneously confused and annoyed her, with Ryu now going out of her way to find that specific demon

She told her team about the unusual situation, but was reassured that he was nothing the hunters couldn’t handle

Regardless, Ryu still went out to get answers

It was weeks until she managed to corner the demon, pinning him against the wall with her blade to his throat 

She asked why he was in the human world, growing more frustrated as he remained quiet for a few moments

He then said if she was going to kill him that she should just get it over with, which threw Ryu off long enough for him to slip away and disappear

From there a pattern would emerge, with the two of them frequently crossing paths when Ryu was patrolling alone

Unbeknownst to her, the demon was actually seeking her out, wanting to talk more

She’d basically interrogate him about his life as a demon, trying to find his intentions for not attacking her

However, from these questions she’d learn he wasn’t loyal to Gwi-Ma, trying to escape his voice

While Ryu was sceptical at first, the two of them grew closer, with her even answering the demons questions about her

That’s when she realised she genuinely cared about the demon

Not knowing how to handle these feelings, she instantly went out of her way to not see him

Eventually she began seeing him everywhere; in the crowd during concerts, in the corner of her eye when she was on patrol, sometimes even outside her house

However, he’d manage to get Ryu by herself, asking why she’d just leave him and that if she wanted to end things she should say it to his face

They’d definitely argue, saying that whatever they had shouldn’t even have happened since they were so different

The demon would eventually leave, promising not to find her again if she really felt that way

Months would pass, with Ryu missing him more and more

Even the other members would notice, but she’d just say she was stressed about maintaining the Honmoon

She’d try and find the demon again when she was on patrol, with no success

Eventually, when she was alone, she’d start talking to herself; asking him to come back

The moment those words left her mouth, he’d appear; neither of them talking when they locked eyes

From there the two would confess their feelings for one another, despite the two being a demon and hunter, allowing for their relationship to properly start

She wanted to tell Celine, but anytime she brought up the topic of demons, she saw the anger and resentment in her eyes

So instead they kept their relationship a secret, dating for years as Ryu made sure the other hunters never found him

At some point they would get married, merely exchanging rings as a symbol of their union rather than doing anything official

However, when she fell pregnant, she knew she would have to come clean

I believe this caused a falling out with the hunters, with Ryu disappearing since she knew they would never accept her new lifestyle

She continued to hunt demons for as long as she could, doing it from the shadows so her former group couldn’t find her

Her husband would help her during this, using his demon abilities to his advantage and fully taking over when Ryu became too pregnant though

When Rumi was finally born, neither one of her parents knew how to raise such a unique child

At first they were cautious, meticulously noting down her demon attributes and any behaviours they thought were abnormal

However, they very quickly grew not to care about her differences and focused on making sure she was happy

Rumi lived a rather sheltered life with her parents, staying home most of the time until around the age of three

At this point I believe Gwi-Ma heard of a rogue demon that was helping a hunter, sending all his underlings to capture them

Their family remained hidden for a while, however the demons managed to track down the area and they lived in

Not wanting to leave the humans of their city in danger, and knowing that no matter where they went Gwi-Ma would find them, they tried coming up with a plan to defeat him

However, Rumi’s father knew that this was practically impossible, and decided to face the overlord alone

He quietly said goodbye to his family, leaving them in the middle of the night

Ryu knew exactly why he had gone when she realised he was missing, not knowing how to go after him while also protecting Rumi

Eventually, she’d run into Celine who had heard about the concentrated number of demons in the area

Seeing Rumi with her demon markings, everything clicked into place and Celine was horrified

Instead of explaining herself, Ryu pleaded with her to understand that Rumi was still her daughter

This managed to convince Celine to take care of the child while Ryu went to go look for her husband

I believe they would only reunite at the final battle, with demons trying to drag her husband back to the demon world

In the process, civilians were being killed as well, Gwi-Ma managing to slowly make his way topside because of the influx of souls

Here Ryu would do her best to protect everyone while saving her husband, the two of them reuniting amidst all the chaos

This would catch Gwi-Ma’s attention, with him directing all his resources towards capturing the hunter and her demon husband

The pair would manoeuvre around the city, trying to draw the mob away from the public

In the end though, they knew what they had to do

Charging to Gwi-Ma, they lured all of the demons back into his flames in an attempt to push him back in the underworld

This worked, however, at the cost of Ryu and her husband’s life

Celine witnessed the carnage, unable to stop Ryu’s sacrifice since she was taking care of Rumi and trying to direct all the civilians to safety

Celine blamed Ryu’s demon husband on all this, vowing to never let another corrupt those she loved

Therefore, despite being half demon herself, she raised Rumi to hide and despise her demon side

Being A Demon HCs With Saja Boys

Jinu

The only demons he’s familiar with are the ones Gwi-Ma sent to help him on his mission

Otherwise he wouldn’t have bothered to remember who you were, only focusing on getting his memory erased

Would only go out of his way to interact with you if you acted out and proved to be a threat to his plans

He would get reports of a demon purposefully stopping others from harvesting souls and often going rouge, disappearing for periods at a time

At first he’d be absolutely pissed, sending others to hunt you down and get rid of you

However, the more you manage to evade them, the curiouser he got

There was no reason you should be standing in the way of Gwi-Ma, and the fact that you managed to act out despite his voice in your head astounded him

That’s when he decides to seek you out himself

He’d instantly go in to attack, trying to see if the stories he heard about you were true

Would be making a lot of snide comments as well, still annoyed at the fact that you were in his way

When you managed to evade him over and over again, disappearing the moment he turned his back towards you, he’d be a lot more open to just getting you to talk

Would act innocent at first, raising his hands when he saw you and clarifying that he was alone

He would doubt that you managed to escape Gwi-Ma’s voice, asking what you had to gain from acting out like this

Would be in heavy denial about a demon being able to go off and be free like you were, since he wasn’t able to

Eventually however, he begins to wonder if it was really possible and he could do it as well

Begins to manipulate you a lot, trying to get you to open up about your past and reveal your inner shame as well as how you managed to overcome it

Would also open up to you, only revealing parts of his history since he was mainly doing this so you’d let down your guard

Sometimes uses his tiger and bird to find you to convince you to meet up and trust him more

However, when he sees how genuine you are with not wanting to be like the other demons, his behaviour shifts

His becomes more caring, empathizing with you a lot more and purposefully warning you of upcoming attacks so you weren’t anywhere near them

If any other demon found you and tried to hurt you or bring you back to Gwi-Ma, he would quickly get rid of them

Wanted you to be his secret

Even the other members of the group weren’t fully aware of his relationship with you, only knowing that a rogue demon took up a lot of his attention

But the moment he realises how close he was getting to you, he’d immediately distance himself and not give any explanation as to why

You’d have to be the one to confront him, asking what went wrong and why he’s acting so weird

He’d then snap back at you, saying not all demons could live your life and it wasn’t easy to just change

From there he would ignore your advances, purposefully avoiding you if you ever tried to seek him out again

It’d only be during a confrontation, where you were in some sort of danger with demons or hunters, would he step in and bring you away from the fight

He’d be checking you over for injuries, practically ignoring your words as you continuously asked why he abandoned you

It’d take a lot of coaxing, but eventually he’d confess he cared too much about you and didn’t want to feel vulnerable

It’d be best if you didn’t try to pry any further, cause he wouldn’t want to explain himself

From there you’d have to take control of the relationship, with him being less sure of his actions now that he realized his feelings for you came from a genuine place

If you were patient though, things would eventually evolve into something more loving

Neither of you would officially acknowledge it, with the words ‘dating’ accidentally slipping out one day and neither of you correcting it

Would be a lot more teasing, being relentless with his playful jabs and insults

Often times enjoys spending quiet time with you, with both of you doing your own thing but still touching in some way

Loves to explain things to you, especially new things he’s learned about the human world that he knows you’re not familiar with

Sometimes, in more intimate moments, he’ll open up about his history with his family and how much regret he has from it

You’ll have to be the one to constantly pull him from Gwi-Ma’s voice

Doesn’t fully stray away from his plan to erase his memories, so he tries to avoid the topic with you since he doesn’t want to argue

Is infatuated with your markings, never even considering demon traits could be beautiful until he met you

Would enjoy training together to develop your demon abilities, since it was fun but also so he knows you’ll be safe when he’s gone

Will also make sure you have access to souls to feed on if you needed it, regardless of your opinion of harming humans

Would do everything in his power to make sure Gwi-Ma never got a hold on you again, even considering turning against the overlord if it came to it

Baby

Often goes off and does his own thing away from the group, so getting his attention even as a fellow demon would be difficult

However if you also had a rebellious side he’d be at least a little intrigued

Like if you wandered off during missions and overall just didn’t care that much about Jinu or Gwi-Ma’s plan

Just toeing the line between doing the bare minimum and being a liability, so you managed to fly under the radar for a while

If you also liked to mess with others, whether it’s demons or humans, he’d be even more interested in you

Would do whatever it took to get a reaction out of you

Followed you around constantly, and would act even worse if you ignored him

He’d repeat questions over and over again like a toddler, or poke you until you acknowledged him

Would definitely tease you a lot, making fun of how you basically worked for him and that he was the reason you could get souls

From this he would also try to pry into your personal life, curious about who you were and how you became a demon

However, anytime you even considered doing something rebellious, he would be right by your side and force himself to be apart of it

There’d be no point in trying to stop him, since you were both equally stubborn and would spend hours arguing with each other

The other members would notice his interest in you, especially with how often he wandered off to go find you

Eventually would force you to come with him, dragging you to rehearsals, meetings etc

Anytime you tried to leave, he’d basically drag you back and place you in your own little corner to chill in

The group didn’t care that much, slightly relieved Baby had someone to focus all his mischievous energy on

That was until the two of you teamed up and began pranking the other members

Then everyone began to be a lot more cautious if you were anywhere near each other

Neither of you talked about your emotions that much, mainly hanging out in silence or planning your next stunt

There was no doubt you guys had a connection though, not that either of you would admit to it

The only way something would change in your relationship is if you had to leave the human world, whether that be because you got in too much trouble or if the mission no longer needed you

Baby would try everything in his power to make sure you could stay with him

Would be lowkey about it, going to other members to casually ask if they could do anything or just full on threatening lower ranked demons in secret

Would go as far as getting rid of other demons so you could replace them and stay

Even considered going back to the demon world with you, but the other members wouldn’t allow it

Eventually you’d confront him on this, not wanting to make a big deal out of having to leave since you were unsure about his feelings towards you

This would force him to accidentally confess, causing the two of you to go silent for a couple moments

He’d ask if you felt the same way, and when you admitted to it, neither of you would know how to act at first

To break the tension Baby would probably begin teasing you about your ‘crush’ on him until you did it back

From then on the two of you would be inseparable, the members having no choice but to make sure you stayed in the human world

If they didn’t then Baby would leave and the mission would be put at risk

He stays by your side no matter what, basically hovering around you since he finds comfort in your presence

In more private settings, he loves to have you resting against one another

Would develop the most insane tricks to scare humans, even incorporating these acts into performances or interviews sometimes

Also uses it to get souls, getting satisfaction out of the torment they experience

The two of you also get scolded the most out of the group

Loves to make posts with you, even showing off your markings sometimes saying it was just ‘makeup’

Even does this with your fangs and eyes on occasion, loving your demon form and enjoying how risky it was just revealing it on the internet

If you ever felt insecure about being a demon, or if Gwi-Ma’s voice became too overwhelming, he’d try to reassure you with his actions

Like by calling you dumb for even thinking such a thing, while pulling you closer and draping his arm around you as he rested his chin on your head

Romance

He practically obsesses over getting attention from fans in the human world, mainly using demons to further push his image as an idol

So it’d be hard for him to develop a genuine connection with you if you were just assisting the, in the mission

However, if you were someone back in the demon world that knew him before he became a Saja Boy, he would remember you

The two of you only interacted a couple times, too busy with surviving and finding ways to get souls

However, the kindness and respect you showed him in those rare moments still left an impression

Automatically places you in high regard because of it

When he got put on Jinu’s mission, he managed to get you assigned with them

It gave him an excuse to spend more time together and he was eager to get to know you more

Would use his charming personality as a front since it was so successful in getting human fans

Used you as a ‘stand in’ for fans and interviewers, telling you pick up lines and constantly touching you in some way in an attempt to catch your interest

Even tried to help you develop your own human form, making sure you guys has matching styles

Everything he did felt disingenuous at first, feeling like he was just trying to manipulate you into liking him

While in reality, Romance would overthink constantly about how you perceived him and what kind of person you wanted him to be

Everyone in the group was well aware of his little crush on you, constantly teasing him about it since he acted so fake with you

This would make him consider being more vulnerable with, even if the very thought of doing so frightened him

So at some point, when the two of you were alone, he would open up to the stress he faces because of this mission and Gwi-Ma’s voice

He used it as a way to explain why he was hesitant to be sincere when you first met, feeling insecure about his true personality

It would take a while for you to fully let your guard down, still unsure if anything he was telling you was true or if he had some ulterior motive

But eventually you’d see he was being genuine, allowing you to develop a proper relationship with him

You’d also open up about hearing Gwi-Ma’s voice in your head, the two of you supporting each other and talking it out whenever things got really bad

He’d definitely be the one to confess, planning everything out to the smallest detail and getting the other members to help him make sure it was perfect

He’d do all the stereotypical things, like giving you roses, lighting candles, taking a walk with you in the moonlight

However at the end of the night, all his plans go out the window

After looking into your eyes, he knew he would do anything to make sure you were happy

He told you how he felt about you, that you were different from anyone else that he met and how you made him feel things he didn’t think were possible

Around you he felt confident in who he was and loved, despite being a demon

After hearing your response, saying you felt the same way, he’d be so overcome with emotion that he’d just hold onto you; not wanting to let go

Now that you were dating, he was lot less extravagant with the PDA since he feels more secure with you

Still likes to be touching at all times though so he knows you’re there

Also keeps on flirting with fans, taking his role in the group very seriously and wanting the Saja Boys to succeed

However reassures you though that he belongs with you, through both his actions and words

Especially since he can’t go out with you while being overly affectionate, due to his role as the ‘flirt’ of the group

Is constantly checking on your wellbeing, making sure you were handling being in the human world well and had enough souls to feast on

Becomes a lot more secure with his demon form since he loves the markings and fangs you have

However he does enjoy pretending to human with you, loving how you let him style your appearance

On special occasions he finds ways to go dates with you in public, charming his way out of it when confronted during interviews and fan meets

Abby

To get his attention you’d have to be on the team somehow and working closely with him

So your role would most likely be one of the demons that follows the group at all times, acting as a form of protection in case any hunters come by or if human fans want to see them when they’re busy

He would mainly interact with you by making a few side comments, saying he could protect everyone himself because of how strong he was

It’d only be after seeing you in battle would he start to take you seriously

Would constantly ask you to spar with him, taunting you if you kept saying no

Eventually he’d just try to sneak attack you, getting frustrated when you’d just disappear or ignore him

If you fought back he’d be ecstatic, giving it his all and expecting you to do the same

Losing would make him distraught, immediately demanding a rematch

However if he won, don’t expect him to ever let you forget it

Would probably be so annoying that you instigated the next sparring match

From then on he’d subconsciously try to get your validation by trying to be better than you at things

No matter how small the task, he’d insist he could beat you at it

Basically everything became a competition, and he would spend most of his free time just being around you because of it

Everyone in the group probably realised that he liked you before he did and they’d tease him relentlessly about it

Out of principle he’d deny it, sounding like a little kid throwing a tantrum

However if you ended up finding out about this, most likely by overhearing one of the members saying it, he’d get a lot more flustered

Began stuttering and backtracking on all his words, not truly knowing how he felt

You’d have to take control of the conversation, admitting your feeling first so he could calm down

Honestly short circuits, not talking for a few moments as he focuses on your words and forgets everything he was thinking

Tries to be causal when he says he likes you too, eventually saying he expected it because of how strong he was

Still tries to constantly impress you, however now it’s more so about skills and talents he has

This mainly includes his cooking, always wanting you to try whatever he makes

Will take your opinion very seriously, especially since you weren’t familiar with human food and he wants your experience with it to be perfect

Is okay with redoing things over and over again until they taste just right

Would fall even deeper in love if you asked him to teach you how to cook, brushing it off by bragging about how he’s the best teacher you’ll ever have

Also has you help with a few of his dance moves, loving how you can keep up with him cause your both demons

Is constantly hugging you and putting his arm over your shoulder, almost like he’s trying to draw you in closer whenever you’re nearby

Also continues to spar with you a lot, playfully jabbing you and escalating it to the point where one of you is pinned to the group

But he is more open to both of you improving your fighting technique, taking the time to show each other effective attacks and defences

He still has a short temper, often letting his demon attributes coming out when he gets mad, however he appreciates that you can match his energy and stand up for yourself

Also loves seeing your demon attributes getting more enhanced when you get pissed, loving how unapologetic you are with being inhumane

He thinks it makes you seem more authentic

The only reason he would try to convince you to have a human form is so he could go out in public with you and show yourself off as a power couple

Also tries to do the same thing around demons, bragging about how the two of you could probably defeat the hunters by yourself

But if you ever did doubt yourself, whether that be because of your own thoughts of Gwi-Ma’s voice, he’d do his best to reassure you

Would give you praise, stating every compliment as if it was a fact before finding something fun or relaxing to do to take your mind off things

Mystery

He usually stays quiet in large groups, so you wouldn’t really catch his interest by being a demon that hangs around the members

He also didn't make that many connections in the demon world, so he wouldn’t know you from there either

Most likely you’re a soul collector, going between both realms and eventually catching his eye

This is because he found it interesting how you managed to blend into the shadows and disappear, similarly to how how did

He’d follow you every now and then, keeping an eye on how you lure humans away and find them in moments of weakness

You wouldn’t even notice him at first because of how quiet he was

At most you’d notice something in the corner of your eye, or feel like someone was watching you

However, when you looked around, no one would be there

The only way you’d properly meet is if he decided to approached you out of sheer interest and curiosity, appearing at your side and accidentally scaring you

You recognised him of course, with the Saja Boys being the whole reason as to why demons like yourself could collect souls

He wouldn’t say much, merely staring at you and then immediately disappearing in a cloud of smoke

These interactions would get slightly longer and longer overtime, with him eventually just walking behind you and hovering while you did your job

You never really asked him to leave you alone, since he rarely interfered with what you were doing

The only times he’d step in is if you were about to get caught

If it was by a human, he would come from behind and take the soul from their body, before retreating into the shadows once again

However if it was a hunter, he would pull you into a hiding spot, even going as far as transporting away with you if he thought things were too risky

If you managed to get her attention, you definitely had to stand out amongst the other demons somehow

Whether it be the way you fought or how you looked at her, something about you made her curious

At first she’d always try to go up against you in fights, her blade shallowly missing as you dodged her attacks

The two of you would banter back and forth during these, with you defending that you weren’t one of Gwi-Ma’s followers

Of course, she was extremely doubtful of this and called you a liar

Overtime however, those battles became less about fighting and more about getting to know one another

She’d go out and look for you on her own, curious about how a demon could break away from Gwi-Ma like you did

If you explained how you became a demon and how you ended up in this situation, she’d instantly become more empathetic and open to listening to you

The more you open up to her the more she’d open up to you, and eventually seeing each other in secret became a regular thing

At this point you two would just be friends, not fully knowing why you were so drawn to one another

Eventually Mira and Zoey would find out, most likely on accident since Rumi still wasn’t 100% sure why she wanted to know so much about you

At first they’d be sceptical, practically convinced you were a spy from Gwi-Ma who managed to manipulate Rumi

However, because Rumi herself was half demon, they’d be willing to give you a chance

Zoey definitely cracked first since she was insanely curious about your life as a demon and the abilities you had

Also adored seeing you and Rumi together, randomly breaking into song about how in love you guys were

Definitely made the two of you blush because of it as you half-heartedly denied being in a relationship

Mira took a lot longer to convince, especially since she was so protective over the group

Moments that would solidify her trust in you would be when she saw how genuine your care was for Rumi, and if you protected them during fights

Rumi definitely helped you with your human form, styling and teaching you how to act more normal

However, in private, she absolutely adored it whenever you showed your markings because it made her feel like she could relate to you

Genuinely curious about your abilities too, and would ask you to show her how to do some to see if she was able to

Overtime Rumi would definitely notice her intense feelings for you, but would be hesitant to tell anyone, including Mira and Zoey

Extremely guarded when she’s around demons, so for her to even consider you weren’t an enemy is hard

You’d most likely have to go out of your way to prove you weren’t evil

Would respond best to actions rather than words, so seeing you protect her group and civilians would definitely make her more open minded to trusting a demon

Would bring these concerns immediately to Rumi and Zoey, not wanting to hide anything from them and get their opinion

Both would advise her to be cautious, offering her backup if she ever needed it

However, they knew Mira’s judgement and her disdain for demons, so they trusted her to make the right choice

Would arrange a meetup with you, although it’d feel more like an interrogation

Most likely becomes interested in you out of sheer amazement, impressed with your fighting style and how you didn’t attack civilians like other demons

Would most likely be asking you questions about it while trying to slash you with her blades

Immediately brought up her thoughts to Rumi and Mira, both of which were concerned with her infatuation with a random demon

They then believed it to be more of a crush, like how she reacted to the Saja Boys, so they weren’t overly worried and just warned her to be careful and remember who the enemy was

Constantly searched for you during battles and the would borderline corner you so she could ask you questions

Very curious about how your abilities worked and what it was like being a demon

Began to find you while she was by herself on patrol, making her a lot more talkative during fights since it was just the two of you

These meetups would turn into a more of a regular thing, and after becoming familiar with one another, she’d stop trying to stab you since she was convinced you were a trustworthy demon

Would show you all of her drafts during these hangouts and talk to you about the different music styles she wants to try out

Jinu

Shows different sides of himself depending on the situation, rarely letting his true emotions show so they don’t get in the way

Even with the group, he is rather reserved and doesn’t open up to them as much

Despite this, he takes his role as the leader very seriously and is protective over all of them

He shows this by working them extremely hard to keep up their appearances as idols, not wanting to get caught and be put in harm's way

Teasing and messing with them is also another love language he has, often playing pranks on the others with his cat and Baby

He also makes a point to spend quality time with each of them, disguising it as just checking in so everyone is ready for their next performance or interview

In reality though, it’s to make sure everyone is okay and adjusting to being in the human world for this long

Sometimes though, he gets extremely scared of getting too close and depending on them too much so he’ll often pull away and distance for periods of time

Huge animal lover, will often find strays and bring them back home without even telling the other members

Leaves bowls of food outside their house for any animals that come by

Rarely uses his guitar due to the bad memory associated with it

However, when he’s alone, he may play a few things to remember his mother and sister

Has frequent nightmares about his actions, becoming a borderline insomniac since he’s not able to sleep

The only person he’s more careful around is Jinu, but even then he’ll just make fun of him

Also tells pointless lies to the fans sometimes for his own entertainment, literally has no other reason to

The other members have to stop him and hold him back so their secret identities don’t get revealed

Similar to Jinu where he doesn’t show that he cares for the other members that outwardly, mainly doing it through snide comments and teasing them

Takes his individual style more seriously than the others, designing most of his own outfits and doing his own makeup

Draws a lot of inspiration from online trends since he’s practically glued to his phone 24/7

Has the biggest online presence out of everyone else in the group, so he runs the Saja Boys account

Because of this though he’s also the most brainrotted, driving the others crazy with his random vocal stims

Will often get Abby and Mystery to do them to, only stopping when Jinu threatens to drag them back to Gwi-Ma

Extremely good at video games despite not practicing, especially when it comes to first person shooters

Has gone viral because of his clip montages multiple times

Practically survives off ramen and soda only, having stacks of bowls and cans around his room

Rarely turns on the light, the only brightness being from his phone and computer

Will scream at you if you enter his room without knocking, wanting to be left alone most of the time

The only exception is Jinu’s tiger and bird who will find their way in the room no matter what

If he does hang out with the others, he’s often just lounging about on his phone, giving a few comments here and there

Has the shortest fuse out of everyone in the group, getting angry at the smallest of things

Is extremely petty and will get revenge on the other person no matter how insignificant their action

However, he’ll get over things fast if he feels like justice was served

Writes most of the lyrics for the group, getting ideas online and putting it in his notes app

Gives himself the best lines on purpose, and just lets the other members fill in any gaps in the song with their own lyrics

However he will go over and fix any mistakes they make, still taking pride in the fact that the song sounds good

Romance

Takes his appearance very seriously, always carrying a makeup set and mirror with him just in case

Designs most of the overall aesthetics for the group, often arguing with the other members when they don’t follow his vision exactly

Has tried to physically tie down some of them so they’d let him do their makeup

Kind of a perfectionist, putting a lot of pressure on himself since he’s supposed to be the visuals of the group

Because of this he is constantly seeking validation for his actions

Loves interacting with fans, causing him to spend the most time with them out of everyone else in the group

Consumes a lot of romance media, and even has a collection of novels so he can get one liners from them to use during interviews

Has gotten called out on it a couple times, but he always manages to talk his way out of it

Also watches chick-flicks, basically studying the way the male leads interact with others so he can come off as charming as possible

Sometimes gets the other members to stand in as the girl so he can practice

Mystery is the only one who consistently agrees to it

Definitely has an alt account to see what others are saying about the group, and influences fans into loving him the most

Has read a few fanfics about himself, definitely using some of it as inspiration for when he does meet and greets

On his main account, he posts a lot of self-care videos about how he does his hair, makeup, skin care etc

If it was up to him, he’d never wear a shirt during performances but Jinu managed to convince/scare him into doing it

When it comes to makeup and hair though, he doesn’t really care

Therefore he’s one of the more cooperative members when it comes to styling those aspects

Loves cooking food ever since he came to the human world because of the variety of ingredients and recipes

Will force the other members to try it and practically chase them around the house until he can catch them

Also makes food for the animals Jinu brings over, bragging about how they love him the most because of it

Is extremely self centred, looking at himself in the mirror more than any of the other members

Definitely appreciates his human form the most-

Has also gotten into fights with the others because he kept flexing in front of them and telling them to watch

However, he’s also the most competitive and will still try to out-dance them during practices and performances

The most artistic member of the group, since he always has a new idea developing in his head

One of the more anti-social members but it’s done out of choice, not because he’s shy

Has a mischievous side sometimes, often teaming up with Baby or Jinu’s bird to steal things from the other members

Probably a kleptomaniac with how many items he’s just randomly taken from people during performances, interviews, even meet and greets-

Says it’s just because he’s curious about the items humans have nowadays, but all the members think he probably just likes the rush of stealing

Practically an insomniac since he stays up making things, and has heavy eye bags

However his hair covers this so no one can really tell

Romance has tried to cut his hair and has literally gotten barked at and almost bitten

Has accidentally snuck up on others because of how quiet he was

Uses this to his advantage when stealing-

Loves sneaking around with Jinu’s cat, the other members of the group have given both of them bell collars before but it didn’t work

Genuine workaholic to the point where she has to constantly be doing something productive

Has stayed up for days at a time, often needing to take melatonin pills in order to sleep properly

Rumi, Zoey and Bobby will now constantly make sure she’s actually in bed resting, sometimes having ‘sleepovers’ in one room to do so

Loves having a sense of control over everything, causing her to schedule out the entire day for her and the other members down to the smallest detail

Extremely guarded around others, in a way where most people don’t notice cause she’s always so nice

Is more open with sharing her true self and feelings with the other members, especially since they’ve been together for so long

Took a while to warm up to Bobby, even after him being their manager and even distanced herself from him because he wasn’t a Hunter

Loves him now though, and spends a lot of time with him when it comes to handling more of the business side of things

Will often involve herself in meetings so she knows the direction things are going in and to protect the creative vision her and the other members have made

Teaches on the side, especially to up and coming idols who also want to work in the industry

Has developed some bone problems from trying too many complicated moves, which is why she takes her relaxing periods very seriously

Also because she just loves to chill out with the other group members and not be productive for once

The ambassador to a lot of high luxury brands, and has gotten a lot of items designed for her (i.e: a signature perfume, outfit, lipstick etc)

Definitely gets the group the most collabs due to her connections, whether that be for dancing or marketing deals

Fangirls with Zoey over a few specific celebrities or other idols, especially if they get to collab with them at some point

Hypes up the fans’ most insane behaviours, like when she comments on posts supporting a Huntrix tattoo or when they name their kids after the members

This is because she’s done some crazy things when she was younger, including graffiti, shoplifting, getting into fights etc

She did this as a way of acting out because she always felt like the black sheep of her family, with most of them scolding or just flat out ignoring her when she did anything they thought was too ‘different’

This caused her to overthink a lot when she was younger, making communication extremely important to her

Has one younger sibling she keeps in touch with, making sure they’re keeping up with school and making friends

Other than that, she doesn’t really talk to anyone else in her family since they still don’t respect her

She has stacks of scrapbooks in her room because of this, filled with memories and photographs from whenever they’re on tour and with the fans

Doesn’t have a specific music taste and will genuinely listen to whatever, always having an airpod in at least one of her ears

The others think she might be partially deaf because of it though since she won’t respond a lot of the time when they call her name

Has introduced so many new artists and genres to the group members, causing their discography to have a variety of styles

Responsible for a lot of the celebrity features the group gets, since she loves talking with other artist about their creative process so she can get new inpiration

Most interactive with the fans during the concerts, to the point where Bobby is always on edge when she goes on stage
