Blog Post #2: New Year's Resolution
New year, new life. This line is really so cliche but yeah, we have come to that time again when we finally say goodbye to the struggles of last year and welcome another challenges that is yet to come. It is the time when we bury deep the pains and heartaches of yesterday and embrace the happiness of today. It is the time to forget the regrets that we made and face another mind-boggling decisions ahead. Theoretically, New Year is the time to change.
Every years, it has been a tradition for the people to make "New Year's Resolution". For many, it is for them to set their goals and also their limitations, and for them to change what they had regretted to do in the past years. When i was a kid, I have a list of my so-called Resolutions. I am very determined to make it or to finish it it until the end of the year, even if i have to face too much struggles. But i never really made it. Today as our teacher told us to write our New Year's Resolution, I think its the time again to list down the things that i have thought last last last year, should have made last last year and still haven't made last year. (Hoo! *Wipes sweat*)
Last year has been a really really great year for me. So many opportunities came and i cannot mention it all because if i will, my blog post will not be about my resolution anymore. So yeah. This year, my resolution would be.. First, maintaining the confidence that i have gained last year. And spend my confidence wisely. I will not be over-confident because that keads to something else. I will become more dauntless. Second, i will reduce spending too much. And hopefully i will because college really seems so expensive with all these field trips and stuffs. Third, i will try to reduce my body fats which is really really hard because this have been my New Year's Resolution since time immemorial. And Lastly, I will do better in my studies. I have received the Dean's Lister Award last semester, and i'm hoping i can maintain this this sem. So help me God. And help me too, ma'am.

Blog Post #1: Taking Risks
We, humans, face a lot of different challenges in life. Challenges that can Even choosing your course in college is a challenge. For there are hundreds of courses in the university i choose to study. There are ones who could make me an engineer, a teacher, a doctor, or anything else that could give me a stable future. But people ask me, Why indulge in the business world where there are competitors and requires so much perseverance and cleverness? That's because i dared to accept the challenge and take the risks.
My family's line of interest has always been business. My mom is a sales representative and my dad is a businessman. Growing up, i have seen the ups and downs of their chosen career. I also had fair share of their struggles, too. I never thought of following them. I grew up having the challenge of thinking what i am supposed to do. It was one foggy day in Baguio City when dad shared some sentiments about their business convention. They are currently facing problems and i have admired him for being so brave amidst those. That very day, i fell in love with business and has decided to indulge in business-related course. That very day, i decided to take risks. Enrolling in a certain business course is just one step of that challenge. When i got in MSU-IIT, BSBA Entrepreneurial Marketing has the most appealing name among all the business courses offered. It also include two business majors, which is Entrepreneurship and Marketing in one. Most of the business tycoons and well-known millionaires usually take Marketing as their major. In which they tend to "make their money grow". Most of them already has corporations and companies handed into them, but the good thing about this course is you can be able to build business of your own because this has Entrepreneurial subjects.
Engaging in the business world is not as easy as you think. It's like jumping on the cliff and building an airplane on the way down. Its that hard. Its that challenging. But as Entrepreneurial Marketing students.. we do not play safe, we take risks.

"Christmas, Christmas time is near
time for toys and time for cheer
we've been good but we can't last
hurry Christmas, hurry fast"
December First. Its the start of that time of the year again..
Decorating houses, Giving gifts, Singing Christmas Carol, Kissing under the mistletoe, Sharing laughter, Munching goods (like those cutie penguin cookies above^ hihi), Seeing old friends (or even meeting new ones!) and Kiddos waiting and wanting to see Papa Christmas- Santa Claus! These are some of the many things you're ought to do on Christmas.. but why does people seem to forget the real meaning of Christmas?
Christmas is day we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Its the time to give thanks and be glorious because our Savior has come. He who was born to love us. Its the time to glorify and honor Him by going to church, doing good, forgiving and forgetting, getting inner-peace for the soul and loving more. We celebrate this season for His greater Glory. He is the reason for this season.
Christians calls this Christmas. Jews calls this Hanukka. Some calls this, Yuletide, Noel, Weinachten. Whatever this is called, celebrate this season with a open heart, cleansed soul and blessed spirit. Don't forget HIM! Be blessed!
