A collection of thoughts and ideas I've had about Groundbreak:

~Born sometime in the spring of 1923. He doesn't recall the exact date, so he Nitrofall usually celebrates around Easter.

~The firstborn of eight, and also the only of his siblings to be born in Italy. His family fled to America just a couple years later, so he doesn't remember much of it. That being said, he still has a deep pride for his homeland, which caused problems later in his life.

~His mother's name is Raindrop, as she arrived during a storm, and the thing that made her cry for the first time ever was drops of rain falling on her.

~His father's name is Mirelark, although he changed it to Brody upon arriving in the States to better fit in. He and Raindrop were neighbors as children, and after a good bite from Raindrop, they became best friends.

~Raindrop named him in a similar fashion to how her family named their children. Groundbreak was born during an earthquake, and she insisted: "The ground moved and shook and split right as your little tires hit." He never quite believed her, and upon looking into it, he found that while there was an earthquake during his birth, it was minor. Just tremors. However, he could never bring himself to correct his mother. Her hyperbole never hurt anyone, so he left it.
