We all know he's loves the thrill of adrenaline so he takes you to a lot of amusement parks or carnivals and he has to ride every rollercoaster or anything that looks like it would get the blood pumping

Chifuyu sometimes tags along on some of the dates and it just pretty eventful. Let's be honest it was on one of these dates that Baji set the car on fire.

first creation & most recent creation:

my first work of 2022 was poisoned fangs (jan. 21) and my most recent one was star sweeper (sept. 14) i also released a small timestamp after star sweeper but i might delete it since it’s quite personal, so i won’t include it here.

i also wanted to post a new hyunjin fic before the year ended but since my tags up and fucking died it’ll probably be uploaded in january—or whenever my tags start working again.

one of your favorite creations:

my favorite creation from 2022 is probably twenty-three suns! i originally expected it to be a short little drabble but it snowballed into a one shot and i’m not complaining at all. i liked the concept, the execution, and how effortless it felt to write it. i didn’t put any expectations on myself and just wrote and it felt so freeing! it also got a lot of wonderful feedback which i appreciate 🤍

a creation you’re really proud of:

honestly i’m pretty proud of everything i put out this year, whether it was because of the word count, the characterization, the world building, etc. but if i had to choose one i’d probably say the kinds of love collection i wrote for valentine’s day because not only did i complete it quickly, there’s a lot of variety there and it was the first time i ever wrote for any of the enhypen members.

a creation that took you forever:

this one definitely has to be blood is thicker than water because i started brainstorming for it in like… october 2021 and it was published in april 2022. so it took me about seven months 🫣 but to be FAIR i just didn’t write for like five months and wrote a majority of it in march and april. anyways, it took a really long time but i’m glad it turned out the way it did!

the creation that received the most notes:

surprise… it’s blood is thicker than water again. i’m honestly surprised at how well this one did considering it was a) a longer fic and b) not fluffy at all and like. kind of gory and fucked up. but i’m really glad that it got the attention it did because it made those months so so worth it!

a creation that you think deserves more notes:

probably star sweeper (again) just because i’m satisfied with my note counts for the most part. however i do wish that perfect blue got more feedback, not just notes alone. i’d much rather have more feedback than more notes overall that are mainly made up of likes.

a new fandom you joined & a creation you made for it

i became a carat so thank you to rose @hyucks-rose for trying to introduce me to them in 2021 but it was hai cheng that was the final push and i caved. and it’s SO worth it because i love these 13 men with all my heart and soul now.

i wrote a love that lasts for s.coups and i’m like 25% done with a really long fic for minghao that’s inspired by hai cheng. but it’s been collecting dust because i have so many other wip’s 💔 maybe 2023 will be the year i finish it LMFAO

a creation you made that breaks your heart:

none of my fics really “break my heart” but i purposely made perfect blue really sad, and i do feel pity for the characters since i’m the one that put them in those fucked up situations 🫣

a “simple” creation you really love:

i have two here BUT late bloomer and between the clouds are some of my favorite shorter fics i’ve written. i concentrated a lot on emotions and trying to convey those through a small amount of words and i really love how they turned out. i usually don’t like my shorter fics because i always want to establish more and make them more fleshed out but i think these were both fairly decent.

oh also i liked this timestamp i wrote for soobin because i tried a new style with no dialogue and i liked how it turned out a lot!

my new hyunjin fic was inspired by a few android fics i’ve read on here! i always link the media i was inspired by in my author’s notes. :>

Draken and Emma are in front of Sano's house. He has just walked her home after a night at the arcade. The moonlight is making their blond hair almost silver, the breeze is warm and pleasant, and the whole atmosphere is glimmering with something magical.

You and Mikey are hiding behind a window, thrilled and nervous, holding your breath in anticipation.

«He is giving her the purse back!»

«Wait!» Mikey breaks off. «Is that a smile? He is smiling at her!»

«Aww, Mikey! I wish I could hear them.»

A filipino restaurant. It's Emma who suggests it in the first place, and everyone agrees because you heard the food is delicious.

Your boyfriend is more than enthusiastic about this date. Food, for Mikey, is always the best choice, after all. And it's even better, if it's shared with loved ones. «I'm starving!» He whines again and again, until you're finally served. But as soon as his enthusiastic gaze lands on the dishes, a disappointed pout makes its way on his face.

Draken bursts out in a snicker, already aware of what is about to happen.

«What's wrong, Mikey?» You ask, quite concerned.

«Where is the flag?» He panics, he looks desperate. «WHERE IS IT?!»

«Mikey! This is a fancy restaurant, why should they put stupid flags on the dishes?» Emma scolds him, earning an amused look from Draken.

«I don't care, I demand it!»

Draken takes a little paper flag from the inside pocket of his jacket and he waves it right in front of Mikey's eyes. «Your Ken-chin always got you, but first...» He says, retracting the little thing before Mikey can grab it. «You must pronounce correctly the name of the food you just ordered.»

Mikey looks at him as if he has just seen a casket of gold. «Fine!» He hastens to take the menu and read every single name written on it. «Si-Sini-...Si-»

Draken and Emma exchange a look before they burst out laughing, and you join them right after. «Loser! You really suck at languages!»

Once you're done eating, you and Mikey walk out of the restaurant, full and content, leaving Emma and Draken behind. It may seems it's done in order to leave them with the bill to pay, but it's actually just another one of Mikey's attempts to leave the two of them alone, "it is for bonding purposes," he says.

«You're so soft.» The comment slips off your thoughts, and Mikey looks at you with a questioning look. «I mean, wanting Emma and Draken to end up together, it's so sweet of you.»

«They're meant to be, anyway.» He shrugs.

When you see Draken and Emma walking out of the restaurant, you grab Mikey by the sweater and pull him towards you, hiding behind a bush.

«What are we doing, y/n?» He whispers.

«We're letting them bond.» You murmurs in response, jokingly imitating a spy pose.

«Oh...!» Mikey chuckles. «You're my partner in crime now!»

You observe Draken and Emma looking for the two of you with their eyes, rather confused. When they realize you're not around, Draken lets out a deep sigh and Emma blushes a little.

«Come on, Ken-chin, come on!!!» Mikey encourages him from behind your hiding spot, his voice low and thrilled.

«They truly left...?» Emma asks.

Draken nods. «What a pity!» He says with a wry smile. «Do you know what this means?»

«What?»

«I can finally kiss you in peace, without the pain in the ass that is your brother mocking me.»

Emma giggles. «Oh, shut it! You wouldn't survive one day without looking after him like a nanny!» She fondly jokes.

«Okay, you have a point. BUT!»

«But?»

«I can still survive the time of a kiss...» He says, quite flirty, before leaning down on Emma and leaving a soft peck on her eager lips.

Painfully holding back a laughter, you turn your head towards Mikey. Eyes growing wide and clenched fists, he gapes in the face of betrayal.

«Traitors!» He shouts, stepping out from behind the bush, livid, literally fuming. «You filthy little traitors! I've been waiting for this for years!»

Next thing you know is that both Emma and Draken burst into another fit of laughters, making fun of your boyfriend and closing him into a fond embrace.

«y/n, are you nervous?» Draken asks you, as you fidget with the sleeves of your oversized sweater, on your way to the café where Emma and Mikey are waiting for you.

«Do you think my clothes are too casual? Maybe I should have worn something prettier. Look at me! I'm dressed like I'm going to the konbini round the corner.»

«Mikey can't wear something nice for his life, what are you worried about? You're made for each other.»

You don't know whether to consider it an attempt to reassure you or just an utter insult. But you let go, anyway. After all, what you want is for Mikey to like you just the way you are.

Growing up with Draken made you less attentive to things such as clothes and neat hairstyles, and keener on cultivating inner beauty, instead.

Once you get to the café, you spot Mikey and Emma sitting at a table, cheerily waving at you.

«Draken!» Emma stands up and rushes to him, making him visibly combust as she throws her arms around his neck.

«Hi.» He says, fondly returning the hug and leaving a kiss on her forehead.

When you look at them, you just can't hold back a smile. They are so in love and happy around each other, it is contagious.

«Hello, y/n!» Emma giggles, grabbing your hand. «Let's go. Mikey is impatient and hungry.»

When you're in front of him, you can glimpse a light shade of pink spreading from his cheeks to the tip of his ears. He is so beautiful, you're afraid the beating of your heart can be heard from the outside, too. «Hello, Mikey. Sorry for the wait.»

«Sit next to me, so that I can sleep more comfortably later.»

«Sure!» You amusedly chuckle.

The date goes on smoothly, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. Draken and Emma are casually holding hands on the table, chatting and making fun of Mikey at every given opportunity, while he ignores everyone and eats tons of pastries as if nothing else matters.

You and Mikey have been dating for a month, by now. You know he is neither the talkative type, nor a boy of romantic gestures. He is also a bit clumsy and oblivious, quite blunt and inappropriate at times, but you are not bothered at all, because he externalises his feelings through an entirely different kind of language, something that made you fell head over heels in love with him.

«Say aaah— More, more! AAAH—» He motions for you to open your mouth wider, so that he can gently push a strawberry covered in chocolate between your lips. «It is yummy, isn't it?»

He is so cute and careless of the surroundings, you can't help but give his cheek a soft peck. Then you nod, contentedly chewing on your strawberry. «Sweet!»

«Am I hallucinating things?» Draken whispers to Emma's ear, in quite a shock. «Or is he actually sharing his food?»

«I guess we have a winner.» Emma winks. «y/n broke a record!»

Sharing food might be meaningless and ordinary to many, but to you and Mikey it is just another a way to say I love you.

One's fears and insecurities lead to the most unimaginable nonsense. Emma is filled to the brim with those. And having a crush on Ken Ryuguji surely doesn't help.

Draken, Draken, Draken...

Draken is in her heart, he is in her thoughts, and in her dreams. He is in every page of her diary, in every song she listens to, and in the dark blue sky, among the stars she counts at night. Draken is everywhere.

Handsome and tall, caring and gentle, feral and strong, a daydream to the majority of her peers, both girls and boys.

«I will never stand a chance...» Sometimes she whispers that to herself, alone in the safe space of her room, where her dreams are big but reality hits hard.

Emma is so in love with him, sometimes she just stomps her feet and throws a tantrum in front of the mirror, out of frustration. Rejection has always been too high of a possibility, hence confessing her feelings is out of question. It would break her.

When they hang out together with the gang, or whenever Draken is at her place spending time with Mikey, she observes him and focuses on the smaller details. How he casually walks with his hands in his pockets, how the vein on his forehead gets visible whenever Mikey annoys him, how he smugly smiles talking about his bikes and his fights. By now, she knows what kind of music he likes, what kind of girls he admires, she even knows what kind of motorcycle parts and engines he wants to get his hands on.

«Maybe» she thinks out loud, «maybe there's a way I can win his heart.»

Headphones on, and play. The noisiest punk-rock song, of a band she heard him mention before, starts piercing her eardrums. One track, then two, and three, and four... Despite the unpleasant pangs in the pit of her stomach at the thunderous sounds of these albums, she goes on listening to them the whole night.

«Draken! What do you think about that one piece? They rocked it, right?»

«Huh?» He looks confused, and wary to a certain extent. But in the end he just hesitantly smiles. «It's good, I guess.»

Not the type of reaction she was hoping for, tho.

Shades of black on her eyelids, red lipgloss and leather jacket, she rushes to him one night, at the end of a Toman meeting. «Oi, Draken!»

«Who is th— Emma?» He gapes, blinking a little. But he doesn't look that positively impressed.

As they walk side by side, he is particularly quiet.

«Draken?»

«Hm?»

«Did you find those new spark plugs for Zephyr?»

He abruptly stops and frowns. «Since when do you know what a spark plug is and why do you care about Zephyr all of a sudden?»

A weird, uncomfortable feeling boils over in Emma's chest. But she nonetheless answers: «I've been surrounded by Shin and Mikey's bikes for ages. Of course I know what a spark plug is.»

«I see...»

It's starting to get on her nerves, the way all her efforts are just resolving in a string of failures.

«What is it that you're hiding there?» She asks, pointing at Draken's hand fidgeting with the pocket of his jacket.

«Huh, it's nothing.»

«Come on!» She pokes at his arm, giggling. «What is it?»

«I said it's nothing!» He snaps and pulls away, far too irked.

Emma withdraws her hand, as her smile slowly dies on her lips.

«I'm sorry, Emma. It's just that—» He breaks off, and pulls a keychain out of his pocket. A small and fluffy teddy bear hangs from it, looking even tinier on the palm of his hand. «When I saw it, I thought you would like it. I'm not so sure about it anymore, and I feel stupid.»

Emma freezes and blushes, tears forming in her eyes. «I love it. Can— Can I still have it?»

«It doesn't suit your leather jacket.»

«It's not my leather jacket. I—»

«All these changes... Don't get me wrong, you look cool like that, and if you're doing this for yourself, then go on. But if, by any chance, you're doing this for me, then please, stop already.»

Emma turns her back on him, to hide the pain and all the feelings written all over her face. «You won't ever like me, will you?» She asks, her voice breaking and her tiny fists clenching.

«I like you more than I can tell and, as pretty as you are like this, I want you to know that my blushy and tender Emma, who hates on Zephyr and wouldn't ever say no to her cute world made of pink and teddy bears, is the Emma I am in love with. I'm so sorry I made you feel like you needed to change for me.»

Emma is too emotional and shy at the moment, and her heart is beating too fast to even think to face him.

«Emma? Would you please turn around or, you know, tell me I didn't just make a fool of myself? I feel stupid. I might die, right now...»

Emma feels stupid, too. Just as much as Draken. And she giggles knowing, tonight, that her love is everything but unrequited.

honestly I really wanted to see Emma and draken marry so bad cuz i've BEEN ROOTING FOR THEM SINCE LIKE FOREVER!!!!

Draken x Emma: wedding (or the future that could've happened) headcanons

They get married as soon as they hit their mid-twenties. Although everyone (except for Mikey) tells them they're too young, they love each other and want to build a family, so they can't see the point in waiting any longer.

Draken runs a bike shop, Emma works in a company.

When Draken tells Mikey he wants to propose to Emma, they hug each other tight and in silence, but both secretly shed some tears of happiness on each other's shoulder.

The proposal is planned by Draken in his simple and moderate style, nothing fancy: he invites Emma somewhere with a nice view at night and no one around, he starts with a touching speech on the importance of being a very solid couple, then he gets down on one knee and gives her a ring with a honey gemstone that reminds him of her eyes. Emma starts crying at his very first word and literally never stops, to the point Draken has to comfort and soothe her. «Emma, you're making this awkward...» «I just love you so much,» she says between the sobs. «So much I'd marry you hundreds times a day.» And she keeps crying.

The wedding preparations are mostly Emma's thing. She wants everything to be pretty and romantic.

Mitsuya personally designes both their reception dresses and Emma is so delighted with the result, she looks forward to wearing hers.

On the wedding day, Emma is deeply emotional and she cries in Mikey's arms for hours. She has to do her make-up at least three times because the tears repeatedly ruin it.

Draken has diligently polished his bike for the occasion, but on that day he is so tense his hands tremble and he is not sure he can drive. The protruding vein on his forehead is nowhere close to fading and when Pah-chin points it out to him, Draken keeps denying he's nervous.

At the ceremony, both Emma and Draken get so emotional, they can barely speak and they get lost in each other's eyes because they're IN LOVE as the very first day. They're so beautiful and their ever-existent height difference makes them even cuter. He tol, she smol, forever and ever.

After the ceremony, they celebrate with a wedding reception where family and all their friends are invited: the atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Although they're all adults, there are silly little flags on every single dish, it was Draken's idea. «For Mikey,» he answers to whoever asks him why.

Draken never lets go of Emma's hand.

Emma keeps whispering to Draken's ear how much she loves him. Plus, she calls him husband a lot.

At some point Emma takes the microphone and the hall goes silent, she clears her voice and starts talking: she thanks all their friends for staying by their side through the years, remembering the hardships they all went through together, she thanks Mikey for always protecting her and for supporting hers and Draken's relationship, in the end she thanks Draken for always loving and taking care of Mikey, for being such a good person and such a good friend for them, before being the wonderful partner he is for her.

Draken goes red both from love and embarrassment, he smiles at her fondly while his heart is about to step out of his chest.

At the end of the day, Draken carries Emma bridal style to his bike and they go away, while their friends lovingly wave at them.

Before they leave, Mikey approaches them and begs them to come back with good news - which means a nephew or a niece because Mikey wants a little Ken-chin or a little Emma so bad -.
