I love your laptop, I actually saw this exact same one on Amazon last month and I'm saving money since, I'm going to buy one as well because I need it for college but I had a quick question about the laptop, can I put in a disc or not? And I know Best Buy sells them, but do you know if they sell the other color instead of the Blue one? If I buy the blue one then my youngest brother is gonna think I bought for him lol... Thanks for the help in advance 😊

hi!it doesn’t have a disk drive, no - honestly it’s so thin it wouldn’t be able to fit one! and i know that they also sell one that fades from pink to magenta!

well, i’ve had it since mid-june, and the only real problem i’ve encountered is memory. it has a very small amount of hard drive space (21.3 gb), and it can’t really handle a lot of running memory, but as long as you don’t open, like, ten google docs and spotify and skype at the same time it should be fine. 

for its price, though, i’m very happy! it’s extremely lightweight and thin which is a huge bonus to me

pepper’s backpack packing list

general school supplies

pens: bring your favorite(s), a backup, and one you could lend to a classmate without needing it back

pencils: if you like mechanical pencils, also pack one or two normal, wood pencils, since sometimes mechanical ones aren’t allowed for exams

eraser: because the ones on pencils never last long enough

mini stapler, mini hole punch: just in case

notebooks and textbooks that you need

others

chewing gum/mints/altoids: great for keeping yourself awake during class. beware of tictacs, though - they rattle something fierce when you walk

if you have periods: pads/tampons (one or two, even if you aren’t on your cycle - you never know if someone else might need one, and anyway you don’t want to be caught unprepared later), pantyliners  

painkillers: motrin/asprin/ibuprofen - i’ve had so many classmates that needed these over the years. you may want to stuff a cotton ball in the bottle so that they don’t rattle when you walk

extra chapstick/lotion

a few crisp dollars

about three dollars in quarters: because machines rarely actually take dollars or cards, and being stuck without a water bottle or snack stinks

Don’t worry about mistakes.

Make them in to something. I used to get mad and scrap every piece of paper until I was too frustrated to continue. Don’t do that. Make it in to art! Mistakes are a part of life, and you can turn them into something beautiful.

I don’t know about you but to me, studying in silence feels kind of uncomfortable and awkward sometimes - I’m one of those people who prefer to study with music or really any noise in the background, even if it’s just the tv.
