Magica High’s first designs (2018) to most recent (2024)!

Besides Madi and Marcus, I think mostly everyone stayed the same. Their names have always been relatively the same, too. The only one that has had any change is Po’s full name becoming Apollo instead of just being “Po”. And I guess I just erased the cringy memory from my head—Luynika had a different spelling before of Lunica which was fine… but she wanted people to call her…Luni-Chan… *shudders* (If you can’t tell I disliked the past version of her with a PASSION)

Uploading a picture of Madi in a Summer fit bc I’m ready for Summer :’) If you’re wondering why Madi’s flowers are different, I toyed with the idea of her flowers changing with the seasons, but that was way too difficult for me to draw and I did not want to be doing that didn’t make sense so I decided against it. This was also a more experimental drawing with Madi’s curls and trying to see what she’d look like with a less coily hair type, I’ll try and post more about her species btw 🙏

MY OCS! 🎀

Introducing the characters from one of my first ever stories! It’s always been called “Magica High” and is a little over 6 years old now. If the title didn’t give it away it’s a story about fantastical high schoolers. It is the only story I’ve ever made that is actually finished (only took me three months too, way to go little me!) The main plot of the story has changed as I’ve grown, but for now it just stands as a sort of coming-of-age story between the 6 of them. I’ll tell you a little bit about them now:

(Going from left to right on the first photo)

Top:

Naomi- a half-dragon girl who is very serious about her studies. She doesn’t show emotions too often, and has a fear of dentists and doctors. ISTJ

Marcus- A kind, resourceful wizard that is choosing not to take on the role of a wizard. Enjoys drawing, skateboarding and gardening. His friends find him really easy to tease. INFP

Madi- A flower person, who is impulsive and soft-spoken (unless talking about her interests). She loves skincare and has a (insert Magica High YouTube doppelgänger) account dedicated to it that she posts to frequently. INFJ

Middle:

Xander- A blunt yet observant guy who controls shadows. Constantly says snarky remarks under his breath and is unconsciously someone who pushes other people’s buttons once he’s gotten close to them. ISTP

Apollo- An animal transformer that can only morph into mammal animals. He is disorderly and very sociable. His diet avoids all animals he can transform in to, so he usually only eats vegetarian items. ESFP

Bottom:

Luynika (pronounced like ‘Loo-nick-uh’)- A witch who is temperamental, but very charismatic and cares a lot about her friends. She loves going shopping to destress, so thank goodness her parents are rich. ESTP
