It is a very sweet fic, and I had so much fun reading it! (and working on this commission!) Fake relationship so convincing they forget they're not really dating almost immediately.

I wonder if sage will always have a grudge towards rob for being absent the first years of her life and is only okay with him because of stone

Also I feel like because of sage stone in v2 is maybe more sane?? Than v1 lol

oh, for sure she doses, being told her whole life about stories of her father, of how great he was and the big sacrifice he made for them

just for him to show up one day ALIVE and just straight up watches him attack her uncle.

He is not at ALL how she envisioned him

(Putting this cuz this isa long ramble-)

not only that but for my lil idea of sm4 stone and rob FINALLY reunite they embrace and cry in each other's arms, but then stone sees rob is working with team sonic, the same critters who have nearly killed him how many times?

he finds out they're on an adventure to finding all the chaos gems that have been scattered all over the earth, which funny enough is the same thing he's trying to do- finding them all to either restore the chaos emerald/ hiding it

Stone has already collected 2 of them so yeeeeee

they do try to take the gems from him annnn to say the least...

stone is PISSED

then we get the divorce arc! YIPPIE!

(they get back together in the end dw)

so NOT only has he be absent for years, attacked her uncle, AND tried to steal from her Baba but is working for who she can only assume to be the bad guys...

yeah, it takes a while for her to even slightly warm up to him

a lot of what goes on in sm4 dose help change her view on Rob but yeah- she still holds a grudge after everything...

anyway im going to go ona slightly unrelated ramble-

Stone is FAR saner with sage as Ver 2 is a lot more wholesome than Ver 1 by a LONG shot

Ver 2 ai rob is more playful with stone than being manipulative in his weaker states of mind

it actually helps him calm down in his episodes instead of making him worse for the sake of having control over him

also Dr. Rabi in Ver 2 is somewhat nicer to Stone, he's not nearly as demanding of stone and the threats he's made to stone at the beginning of their partnership, he slowly takes back the more he warms up to sage.

Rabi also pretty much babysits sage a good 65% of the time.

some of that is him having to distract her away from stone whenever Stone's having an episode, just taking her away so she doesn't witness stone in an upsetting state.

he's also the one that homeschools her, seeing she is the descendant from two of possibly the smartest bloodlines on earth. she has so much protentional not to pass up

(stone is not exactly the most onboard with this as he doesn't want sage to be pushed too much in her education in the sake of her being the next generations super genius, he just wants her to be a kid and not grow up like him)

but regardless having an ai that's not going haywire and beging allowed a break here and there and having actual help in raising sage dose wonders

If Sage ever got into a phase where she got scared of monsters, under her bed or in her closet.

Rob, as a new dad, would 100% make it worse.

Yaknow he's opening that closet then going "huh, no monsters in her-" then proceeds to scream in terror and act like he's being dragged away in thee most over dramatic way possible.

Then Stone would have to be the one putting Sage to bed every night and leaving a badnik in her room to guard her after all that.

this looks so cool!

-These little comic strips were made after seeing a post in which @hugsarethugs answered a question about how Rob discovered and reacted to Sage's existence.

-Ces petites planches ont été faites après avoir vu un post dans lequel @hugsarethugs répondait à une question sur comment Rob avait découvert et réagi face à l'existence de Sage.

-So I only did the part where he meets Sage for the first time, inspired by that part of the text. ⬇️

-Alors je n'ai fait que la partie quand il rencontre Sage pour la première fois, inspiré de cette partie de texte. ⬇️

-I plan to have fun making more little comic strips with other information, but those will take me even longer than these three. So, for now, I'll leave you with that.

-J'ai prévu de m'amuser à faire plus de petits planches de BD avec d'autres informations, mais ces dernières vont me prendre encore plus de temps que ces trois-là. Alors, pour le moment, je vous laisse avec ça.

-Visual bonus: Rob's sketch. I had to completely imagine his appearance, and I figured that after his dramatic breakup with Stone, he must have ended up depressed and let his hair and beard grow out randomly.

-Bonus visuel : brouillon de Rob, j'ai dû totalement imaginer son physique et je me suis dit qu'après sa dramatique séparation avec Stone, il avait dû finir en dépression et se laisser pousser les cheveux et la barbe n'importe comment.

This is version 2 where stone is trans masc and stone and rob get into a relationship during the crab era because they are lil bit smarter than their other version

Hi, it’s me again you beautiful soul. I’m like normal. I’m gonna ask where is rob? How was is he react to find out he has a little kid running around somewhere?

He was an orphan himself he’s gonna have so much guilt from having a kid not being a proper dad for her.

Rob lives back in his old connivence store back in green hills (practically the Mean Bean Cafe in this version)

im still not entirely positive on how or when rob finds out that stone is alive and where he's at or even if rob knew stone was with child before the events of the sm3 but when he doses meet sage it is very drama filled considering he met her when she was being baby sat by Dr. Rabi while stone was running all over the place, still thinking the spottings he seen of rob ware hallucinations.

but what i can tell you that after all the drama and conflicts of what is practically my version of sm4 they go into wholesome domestic living.

Rob of course feels guilty after everything, having missed out on over 5 years of sage's life already and his 1st contact he had with sage was with her watching Rob punch her uncle (Rabi) in the face, but all that washes away on one late evening.

all three are in a living room in Stone's and sage's home on the island.

rob and stone are chatting on the couch while sage plays on the floor surrounded by her toys with the tv quietly going through commercials.

Stone notices sage begin to nod off and makes a move to take her to bed before he is able to get up Rob interjects and offers to put her to bed instead, stone reluctantly allows rob to take sage and remains on the couch

rob carries sage to her room, getting lost for a minute before finding the door, once he enters her room he is in awe.

it's a light blue ocean themed color with various sea creature decorations and posters along her walls and ceiling

top of her bed is lined with plushies all water themed mammals

rob gently sets sage down on her bed and pulls the covers over her and sits at the edge of her bed still analyzing her room

A room he only dreamed of being in as a child, filled with toys and games to play. a closet full of fitting outfits to dress in, and shelves of books to read and learn from.

but most of all, a family to wish him a good night.

A part of Rob's inner child begins to heal when he looks back at sage who is soundly sleeping realizing his biggest dream has come true, just in a different view.

he picks out a large otter plushie and tucks it in right next to sage and kisses her good night before turning off the lights and leaving the room.

Rob returns to stone on the verge of tears.
