Random tip for transasthma people! As someone who has chronic asthma I take a medication called montelukast which is a chewable tablet that tastes like berries or artificial cherry and I take it every night to avoid asthma flares. I thought maybe to simulate this you could take cherry flavored vitamin-c tablets as they look very similar and would taste the most similar. If you do not dig the idea of vitamin-c tablets you could always get cherry smarties to simulate instead.

plus its always good to introduce vitamins into your system especially when asthmatic! :D

Honestly. Adding onto the whole thing of "You should fake your identity if you want!" I think alters should also say they are what they are in headspace as if they're cis. Like, are you nonhuman in headspace? Talk about yourself like you're cis-nonhuman and don't falter from it. You don't HAVE to be your body, you can be what you actually are in headspace. This may not make sense but oh well LMFAO.

It's literally people like them who are the reason they almost died. I can't speak for every transabled person, but I have tons of medical knowledge and would be quick to react in that situation. I'd never accuse someone of faking a disability unless I was 100% sure, and I'd ask them PRIVATELY unless they were literally committing fraud or hurting other people (Belle Gibson type shit).
