“Damn, girl,” Blake says with a grin as she slaps her card on the table, giving Tenzin an all-too-obvious once-over. “You’re looking fine as hell, which, get it? Vampire?”

She makes a sweeping gesture to her own costume, clearly quite proud of herself as she sits down. “I hear animal blood isn’t as tasty to your kind, but maybe you can make an exception for tonight.”

“Well, I was going to mark you down as a ‘yes’, but after that? I’m not so sure,” she teases, spinning the pen between her fingers. Blake would always be a yes, and she knew it. It isn’t often that Tenzin genuinely likes someone, but Blake somehow wormed her way into her shrivelling heart. “You look udderly delicious.” 

Raising an eyebrow, she leans back in her seat, crossing one leg over the other. “I’m a vagitarian vampire.” Tenzin grins at Blake, showing off her fangs. “I meant vegetarian, my apologies.” They both know she isn’t sorry. “Or would it be animaltarian? I don’t know... Anyway, why the cow costume, babe? Not that I don’t love it.”

“Hey, doc.” Tenzin shamelessly checks him out as she leans closer, a sly smile on her face. “I’ve been having some pain in the inner thigh region. Anything you can recommend for that?”

“Nice costume,” Tenzin says, gesturing to the other woman’s baseball themed dress. “Better than all the sexy cats and bunnies I’ve seen tonight.” Being a vampire isn’t exactly original, but hey, she looks hot. “Enjoying this whole speed dating thing?”

TENZIN IS DRESSED AS A VAMPIRE AT THE BOO’ED UP EVENT.

After struggling in the mirror for hours fitting the fake, sharp fangs, she’s ready to drink and take someone home.

SORA​:

         “i’ll hold you to that,” she answers, brow cocked. believing in the generosity of strangers has never quite been sora’s thing, but so far tenzin hasn’t given her any reason not to. when they get to the bar, she’ll be keeping a close eye on her. and how much she’s willing to give before she withdraws the offer. “i don’t know if i’m surprised. i haven’t been there in a while. lots of work to catch up on, lately. maybe a bit sad, but i’ve taken more to drinking alone.” or with one of the other sins, all of which are not exactly one night stand material. or even available for conversation, most nights. “i wasn’t found out, but… it wasn’t bad enough that it worked,” she admits, sighing softly. “i’ll just have to do better next time.”

“You can hold me to more than that, if you’d like.” Tenzin shakes her head, lazily shrugging a shoulder. She knows all about drinking alone. It’s one of her favourite hobbies. “If that makes you sad, then I guess I’m sad, too.” At least there was nobody to cut her off when she was by herself — nobody to share a ridiculously overpriced bottle of whisky with. On the odd occasion, Ezra would suddenly appear over her shoulder. “Bummer. Maybe you should kill them next time,” she says, her tone void of emotion. It could be taken seriously or as a lame joke. “Just don’t get caught.”

My family and I loved watching movies together. It was one of our favorite things to do. Because I was born in Nepal and later moved to a smaller town in Australia, seemingly a million miles away from the industry, it didn’t really occur to me that acting was something I could do growing up as a child. No one in my proximity was in the arts, but my dad was always creative and fostered that side of me with literature and his love of film. When I was 18 the world had opened up more and it was on my list to try. Once I did, in a small acting class in Adelaide I was hooked. It’s all I wanted to do.

MORI​:

Lounging across a booth in Nyx after hours—before hours?— is always funny to Mori. It’s empty, lights are on. The sordid nightclub simply a room. It’s the bodies that make it the cesspool. How fun. When Tenzin appears, Mori tips their head back, hanging off the side of the leather sofa. They look like a cat, without the feline grace. A cat who’s eaten too much, maybe. A fitting description considering the fact they’d dispatched of two rather annoying drunks and can feel the afterglow of their drinking. In a deadpan, they respond, “Never went to pre-school. Reliving my childhood.” Tenzin continues, giving a creative threat. Spinning round to rest on their front, leg kicking like a school girl. “That’s hot—” Drawled out just like Paris Hilton “—Are you going to do it with your nails? Seeing as you don’t have your dagger?”

She moves towards Mori, crouching down so that they’re face to face. “You think it’s hot? Will you still think that when you’re choking on your own blood?” The question draws out a soft chuckle from Tenzin. As creative and satisfying as it would be to rip someone apart with just her nails, she knows it wouldn’t be possible; unless she filed them into feline claws. “I still have my throwing knives. I can get pretty... artistic with those. I could use your body as a canvas — carve ‘fuck you’ into your chest. What do you think?”

EZRA​:

         the question elicits something of a laugh from him, although whether it’s humorous or hysteric is better left to interpretation. “better question would be who aren’t i bloody fucking, these days. got an appetite to keep satisfied, you know. can’t tie myself down to just one person.” denial is the strongest drug known to man. he’s overdosing on it. “but there is someone i’ve been trying to add to my roster, if that’s what you’re asking.”

“Can’t tie yourself down to one person, hm? Whatever you say, big guy.” Tenzin knows Ezra well enough to see through the lie. Fucking your way through the pain is the best way to handle being hurt, though. She can’t fault him on that. “You mean you’re not able to charm your way into someone’s pants? Alert the presses! That’s unheard of.” It’s very rare that Ezra doesn’t get what he wants. “What’s the issue, then? They think you’re a bit of an asshole or something?”
