Jackson Hole Ski Art Corbet's Couloir

I love this painting, the texture, the movement, the colours, the anticipation and the excitement made for a great energy to paint. Lots of colours deep textures and some crazy looking skiers and borders. Take a close up look with the zoom tool with mouse over. This is Corbet’s couloir  at Jackson Hole Ski Resort in Wyoming. There’s a great depth that sucks you into this painting with the skis edging the hole at the front made from paint straight out of the tube and the twisting couloir heading down. The line up of skiers and borders  eager for a turn lining the lip. 100 x 80cm textured acrylic on canvas.

Courchevel Meribel Chair Lift Ski Art

A snowy day on the Coqs chair above Courchevel in the French Alps with pants full of snow and large flakes of snow creating a blanket of soft peace. Under Coqs chair this is a magical bit of off piste cutting through the trees from Loz Est. An even better treat awaits, just across the piste and down a bit, the very narrow wooded section a little further down Loz Est coming out just above the start of the chair. If you have been there ducking under the branches and inadvertently hugging a few trees, you will know where I mean. Acrylic on 2cm thick ply set in a white box frame behind glass. It’s a small painting but with lots of deep texture and character set behind glass in a small box frame. I can send a photo of it framed.

Chair 22 Vail Ski Art

On days like this it feels like Christmas. Buckets of snow tumbling out the sky. Softly softly as the flakes drift by. Visibility just about absent with a hand barely showing. Where is everyone but you and me, can’t see a bloody thing. If you are there I can’t see you and nothing else to see. The next day expect your presents in abundance, blue bird day, glistening sun haloed in the sky, bright light cast over powder cushions billowing just about everywhere you look. Enjoy the Powder in anticipation of the day that does always come in the end. This is a very heavily textured and abstract painting on 2cm thick plywood, 40cm x 40cm Acrylic on ply with a simple white floater frame.

Tignes Val d'isere Art Paintings Photo Book by Pete Caswell

A large and colourful book of Pete Caswell’s famous ski paintings from Tignes and Val d’Isère in the Espace Killy ski area in the French Alps. This is a proof copy of the ski book I ordered so it is not brand new but it is in mint condition and will be signed by Pete. Printed onto photographically onto high quality heavy weight photographic paper (300gsm), with a lay flat binding to make the most of the deep colours and textures of these stunning paintings – Made to adorn your coffee table with all the glamour, fun and excitement of the Alps. The book is 38cm x 29cm in hardback with 26 pages in total, full of colour images of some of Pete’s favourite art work from this incredible ski area. There are a combination of full size images and close ups, zoomed in images, of the paintings so you can see all the amazing textures and brush strokes which go into making a painting so lively. Pete began his ski paintings career in Tignes and at the back of the book you can see some of his early paintings from when he lived at Tignes. The book takes you on a trip from Val d’Isère and La Daille to Tignes and onto the Grande Motte glacier where it finishes in some great paintings from the top of the Grande Motte cable car and the Glacier piste. Use the preview button to take a look through the book. You can buy a presentation box to go with the book which adds that extra special touch if this is for a present for a friend or work colleague. Each image is annotated in small text at the bottom with its location in the ski area. The books make a great skiing and snowboarder’s present for the man or lady who has it all and doesn’t have room in the closet for another ski jacket or pair of skis. Ski Themed Cocktail highball Glasses

A beautiful pair of ski themed cocktail straight sided highball glasses. One of the glasses is white with a painting from above Val d’isere at a mountain restaurant. The other is from Obergurgl Nederhutte apres ski painting of drinking and dancing. I only ordered one each of these to see what the product was like and they are really beautiful and well made. Ski Themed Whisky Glass

Beautiful Whisky glass with a ski theme from Verbier and the Four Valleys. Its actually one of my paintings of the old chair from above Siviez. Its a beautiful glass and I just ordered this one to see what this product was like.  This is the only one I ordered to see the result and it is beautiful. Ski Themed Shot Glass Tall

Ski Print themed shot glass using images from Mt Blanc -Chamonix and Courmayeur in a presentation box with  on the lid. These were some sample glasses I ordered to test the product and they are very beautiful.  This is the cost price of them as they are custom printed in London. I can order more of them as I have only ordered these 2, please email me to discus.  This is a shooter-style glass with straight sides with a thick bottom that will hold up just in case someone sets it down a bit heavier than intended, which tends to happen when tequila is involved.

These were some sample glasses I ordered to test the product and they are very beautiful.  This is the cost price of them as they are custom printed in London.
