retrofitting the thermophilic yurt compost heater .

latest antics of Pete trying to stay warm using what is at hand . though he did spend $60 on 500' of tubing... everything else was scrounged.

As if the title doesn’t say it all….  wasn’t getting the heat I was expecting ( expectations , …) I thought it was the limited tubing I had in the compost pile (<100′) so I wound up 500′ on a reel (see below) and dug out the old tubing.For anyone interested in replicating this, wait to see if my system works, do it in warmer weather, and calculate the rotation to correspond with existing…

Results from the Plasticrete workshop. Isaac fabricated a simple connection/cross from bamboo and LLDPE. We had some zoomers from Arkansas and Texas dial in, but the rain kept the trepid home.
