retrofitting the thermophilic yurt compost heater .
latest antics of Pete trying to stay warm using what is at hand .
though he did spend $60 on 500' of tubing... everything else was scrounged.
As if the title doesn’t say it all…. wasn’t getting the heat I was expecting ( expectations , …) I thought it was the limited tubing I had in the compost pile (<100′) so I wound up 500′ on a reel (see below) and dug out the old tubing.For anyone interested in replicating this, wait to see if my system works, do it in warmer weather, and calculate the rotation to correspond with existing…

Step by step guide to plasticrete fabrication.
In this post, I will make a torus/ donut made from cardboard and paper tape.
Cardboard ring/torus/donut
Wrapped in paper tape
40 grams before wrapping
Used lldpe (pallet wrap)

Results from the Plasticrete workshop.
