Winter Barbecue
Tori:
[Peeking out the slider window, I smile when I see that @PeterKnowsShit turned the string of lights on that led out to the lake. Our neighbors appreciated it from what I could tell by the way the lady of the house seemed to flail her arms about in praise to her man and kept pointing at how beautiful they all were. Not that I spied on them often or anything but they were indeed beautiful against all the snow we'd been having.
Glancing back around, I thought about how life really had a way of slowing things down whether you wanted it to or not. The more we stayed the more I loved it here and as I recalled back to Christmas when you had surprised me with buying the place, I still couldn't get over the fact that the A frame was really ours. Cracking the door open finally when you came into view, I took a deep breath, the smoke from the grill carried with it the scent of our dinner and as my stomach let out a ferocious growl, I called out to you to see how much longer. My appetite for a lot of things as of late, insatiable.] You need the platter yet, mine? I got the nachos and fries ready!
Peter:
-Who said you could only grill in the summer? Snow and burgers were awesome too. So when you suggested them, I was determined to make it happen. I wasn’t entirely sure this old grill would work when I found it tucked in the back of the storage closet on the porch. But to my delight, it did, and I was currently making whatever non-hibernating creatures in the area jealous with the aroma of meaty goodness. I had just flipped them over and added the cheese to the tops for their final stretch when I heard your voice. Dropping the lid back down, I turned to look over my shoulder at you with a grin- Almost done, baby. You could probably bring it out now.
Tori:
On my way, my Peter Pan! [I was beyond excited, that bounce in my step almost lightning fast as I grabbed up the platter I had set by the door and headed outside to you. The smell of all that meat making my mouth water the closer I got and once beside you, I snuck a quick glance into the grill as I held the platter up for you to plate them up.] I want that middle one. [Laughing softly, I lift a shoulder slightly and offered only the truth.] It's the biggest one! I'm hungry! Did I mention you're going to love dessert?
Peter:
-Eyes that middle one with an instant smirk when you mention me loving the dessert. I’m sure you could tell where my mind had instantly gone as I let out a low chuckle- I will, huh? -Turns my gaze to you just long enough to catch your attention and give a wink before focusing back on the grill, making sure to set the one you wanted off to the side of the platter so I didn’t forget-
Tori:
It's a good trade I think plus you get two whole burgers too! And me.. [Smirking, I swayed back and forth, holding that platter until you were done and I turned to walk with you back to the house. I knew where you're mind went and once inside, under the warmth of the fire I headed straight to the kitchen to make our plates, moving to join you with them at the table after we both ditched our coats.] Oh that middle plate is for Rilla and Teela. [Whistles for them both as I take my seat, humming happily already.] Doesn't it look good?
Peter:
-Falls back when you start toward the house on purpose so I can watch you as you walk. Shooting you a completely unapologetic grin when you glance back at me and catch me in the act. Your sexy little laugh as you stepped through the doorway making me want to say fuck the food, but then you got to putting out the spread and my mind was redirected once more- This is why they’re both so damn spoiled. -Sits back and watches them take their spots in front of you, asses hitting the ground in perfect unison as they wait for their grub- Well, all of us are really.
Tori:
[Laughing hard, I reached for a nacho and tossed it up in the air for Rilla to catch it. Watching proudly when he does no problem and I offer a bite of spare rib to Teela before I wiped my hands clean.] They deserve some treats too, mine. They get this one life. [Reaching for a fry first, I gave you a wink in return as I popped it into my mouth. Glancing at your plate when you finally have a seat and I dig right into my burger, moaning loudly at the taste.] My Gods, baby. What did you put in these?
Peter:
-Pauses with my burger halfway to my mouth when you moan like that- Give me a second to force the blood back up to the top head. -Smirks and ducks out of the way of the fry that you toss in my direction, calling over my shoulder to Rilla that went straight for it- You’re welcome. Anyway, you don’t need a lot when you have good meat. Just a little salt, pepper, and garlic. -Brings my burger to my mouth now, taking my own bite-
Tori:
You planned that! [Laughs again, shaking another fry at you before tossing it to Teela.] There's no secret Pete sauce or seasoning? No magic touch with those wicked hands of yours? [Taking a moment to inspect my cheeseburger more closely, I kept sneaking those chance glances your way when you would bow your head to take another bite, seizing the opportunity to take another myself and I smile while chew, finally swallowing mine while you were still chewing yours.] Those fingers are pretty talented, mine. I know I love it when you knead my meat!
Peter:
-The mention of secret Pete sauce had all kinds of witty comebacks rolling around in my mind. That was until you said that last thing causing me to suck in a breath and effectively choke myself, wheezing out- Fucking hell, babe. -Reaches for my beer and takes a greedy pull in an attempt to force the food down my throat- You are dangerous. Has anyone ever told you that?
Tori:
You just did...That means I win, right? [Smiling victoriously now when you say that, I can't help but reach out with my free hand to stroke at your cheek when you lower your beer bottle down. My burger practically destroyed, I opted to dig into some of the nachos. Not quite ready for our dessert while I continued to drink you in.] I was thinking, mine. How would you feel about shoving off for a bit and heading up north? Just a quick weekend trip. [Watching for your reaction once more, I bit into another nacho, wanting to know how you felt about leaving our new home already, hoping you would be okay with it.] You think the neighbors would watch the house for us?
Peter:
-Looks out the window at the mention of the neighbors and nods instantly- I would be willing to bet on it. -grins- I’m always down to get the wheels turning again, baby. As long as I’m with you, everywhere is home. -Follows your lead and reaches for a nacho too, making sure to scoop up any toppings that dare to tumble off- Anywhere in particular you had in mind? Or just see where the open road takes us?
Tori:
Actually.. I do have somewhere in mind. [Offering a warm smile, I reach into the back pocket of my jeans to pull my cell out, thumbing through my screens until I reach the destination in question and I pull it up for you. The picture didn't do it justice in my opinion and I knew I had a 50/50 shot of you laughing your ass off when you found out the where.]
I will need to make a pitstop solo before we go but I think it would be awesome don't you! I've always wanted to see it! [Okay, so yeah, I tried to slide that little snag in my plans in there and hoped you wouldn't pick up on the solo part just yet. Hope, being the keyword here.]
Peter:
-The recognition hitting me instantly when I look down at your phone and let out a laugh- The Flintstone house? Fuck, yeah, I’m down. -Pauses as the solo part stinks in and I eyes you curiously- Solo? -Raises a brow now- As in totally alone. No guard dog or anything? Can I know what the solo mission is?
Tori:
[Of course you caught it. I knew I wasn't slick enough the second your brow shot up and I offer a sheepish smile now as I got up and moved to sit beside you, letting Teela have the rest of the hamburger patty off my plate.] I can tell you but you won't like it. Only because I can't take Rilla with me.. [Scooting closer, I practically crawled into your lap, thinking if you could wrap your arms around me it would somehow make taking the news easier.] I want to tell my parents about us and see about scoring some shrooms for the trip. We can make some tea and eat some caps while we are there. And maybe my parents might come..[It was a long shot but so worth me asking. Letting my gaze linger on yours, I brought my hand up to run my fingers through your hair, speaking softly.] My dad already knows all about you from before but they don't know yet about us being engaged. I want to tell them.
Peter:
-Did I adore the idea of you being somewhere I couldn’t get to you if you needed me? Not really. But as you climbed into my lap, and my arms closed around you, the tension bled out of my body- I mean shroom tea and caps are good. -Nods slowly as I lazily brush my hand over your back- And your parents do need to know the good news. -Gives in to a grin before nodding again- Alright, I can deal with that. Just don’t stay gone long, yeah?
Tori:
To you, it will feel like forever but when I'm there it will go by in a blink, mine. I promise it won't be for long. One night maybe two tops here on this side. [I couldn't honestly remember. It had been so long since I had time travelled back there that I planned on picking a time and event not so well known. The thought of being away from you was not boding well but I knew it had to be done.] I love you. [Seeing that grin of yours calmed me and I brought my lips to yours for a sweet kiss then.] Thank you for trusting me to go alone. I know it isn't easy. [Kissing you again, I nipped that bottom lip with my teeth when I pulled back with a smile.] You ready for that dessert now..
Peter:
-I’m sure you saw the brief displeasure that crossed my features at the idea of a couple of days. Damn expressive face. I trusted you though. Like I had never trusted anyone before. And as an added bonus, my gift decided to pipe up when you placed that sweet kiss to my lips. I knew then that everything would go off without a hitch which had me offering you a genuine grin when you released my lips. Eyes darkening now at the mention of dessert- I am more than ready for that dessert…
Tori:
Chocolate chip pancakes, baby. You're favorite! [Biting into my lip, I knew that look in your eyes. I also knew the chocolate chip pancakes I had stashed in the warmer on the stove was not the dessert you were meaning either.] How about I make us a plate to go.. [Still, I had for breakfast then! [With our plans for the future well under way, I got to kissing you madly, right in time for you to kick the bedroom door closed behind us for the night.]

The Cabin w/ @MyJokersWild
Peter:
-I had just come back from a run out in the woods around our campsite when I found @MyJokersWild with a smirk on her face. Popping my brows, I eyed the phone in her hand- What you got there, baby? -Instantly I knew what that smirk was about when she flashed me a picture that had a low growl sounding from my chest. Letting out that playful laugh that I loved so much, she attempted to scamper off. Popping my brows at that attempt to scamper off, I caught her instantly from behind and placing a kiss to that special spot on her neck- Nope. No running. -whispers against your skin- And damn if I didn’t love that view. -chuckles low-
Tori:
Just think about how you couldn't get to me at first. That thick ass window! There I am scooting back against the bed sheets. Such sweet torture as some would say. [It was true and the more I spoke aloud about it the more my cheeks would turn red. Carting me off as you were to the bus, I smirked and kissed at your neck, nipping there before being slid into the passenger seat.] Road trip commencing now. [Giving you a quick peck, I laughed when you made your way around to the driver side and got in, Rilla promptly joining us in the back.]
Peter:
-The way you described that had me rethinking going anywhere but to the bed at the back of the bus. But I had promised to find those sandwiches, and I wasn't about to start breaking promises to you now. Once I was situated in the driver's seat, I paused with my hand on the key to look over at you- You do that, and you'll see just how quickly I can move. -shoots you a wink before cranking the engine-
Tori:
Maybe we should stop at one of those shops after lunch.. [Smirking when you put the bus in gear, we head out on the open road as I gave your knee a squeeze. Our destination, while not final, was purely driven by some mid-afternoon munchies. Not to mention a cool breeze through my hair was in order and I wasted no time making that happen by lowering the window.] What do you think about afterwards we get a room for the night? Maybe rent a place for a few days?
Peter:
-Drops my eyes briefly to my knee when you give it a squeeze before becoming temporarily distracted by the way your hair blows in the wind, clearing my throat as I return my eyes to the road- I think I'm down for that. -glances in the rearview mirror to see Rilla's grinning ass sitting up on one of the chairs- Might be nice to spread out and give the big gray Gorilla back there his own space for a night or two. -Shoots you a look- And give us a little more privacy too.
Tori:
[I couldn't help but follow your gaze, having laughed softly when you cleared your throat. I knew where that mind of yours went without having to read it. Rilla did too because he suddenly let his two cents be known with a very audible bark of approval.] I think he is in full agreement, mine. [There were plenty of hotels we could have stayed at but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted Rilla to be able to truly run free. There would be no leashes for our boy. We had also driven by a few signs advertising for cabins that seemed like a great option and opted to check those out after lunch.] Paninis first though. Right, boy? [Glancing in the back, I laughed again, louder this time at his reaction when we went to wiggling all over from the backseat.]
Peter:
-Lets out a hearty laugh at the way the dude was carrying on a full blown conversation with you about our plans- All right. Well, since it seems to be a unanimous vote. -glances in the rearview again at that big ass dog grin and laughs with a shake of my head- Paninis first. Then a place with plenty of room for us all. -leans into the wheel, straining to read the sign with all the different options listed next to the upcoming exit- Any of that look promising to you?
Tori:
[The drive up the coast had been full of different sights to see. Between the coming attractions with the holidays in full swing, I was sure we could find something even if it was last minute. Looking up ahead when you do, I stuck my head out the window, letting the wind really do its job when I see the next exit has sign for a few restaurants and a couple of bars. One in particular advertising a full kitchen inside. My interest even more piqued when there's a dispensary next door.] It's a sign, mine! Take this exit!
Peter:
-If this bus could talk it would be cussing me out with the way that I barely glanced over my shoulder to make sure it was clear and then whipped it into the exit lane as if I was in a little sports car. Even still it did a good groan to let us know its disapproval. And it wasn't until we were on the exit that I noticed the sign for the dispensary next to it and grinned wide- Signs in the signs everywhere. -Smirks over at you as I ease off the freeway- We can stock up after.
Tori:
That sounds like a great idea to me. [I was practically bouncing in my seat when you took the exit, grabbing up the leash to get Rilla ready while you parked once we had reached the bar in question.] I promise it's only for a little while, boy. Just until we get back to the bus. [I hated putting him on a leash but I couldn't chance someone trying to take him. The engine was off now and as I looked over my shoulder to you, I couldn't help but smile wider when you notice the outside patio too.] Time to get our grub on! Not bad right?
Peter:
-Eases the bus into an area toward the back of the parking lot where I could take up more than one spot, and shutting off the engine before looking over at you getting Rilla all set up. My eyes lingering on your ass with the way you were turned in that seat before trailing your body and finally over to him and his distaste for having to be leashed- At least he doesn't give you an earful when you leash him. If I had done it he would've read me the riot act. -chuckles, popping you on the ass before releasing myself from the seatbelt and jumping out of the bus so I can jog around to the other side and let the two of you out-
Tori:
That's because I feed him cookies when you're not looking. [yelps before laughing, that pop to my ass causing me to wiggle it for you as you got out and I gave Rilla a wink.] He knows I don't like doing it either! [I called out to you as you made your way around, sliding the other half of my body the rest of the way over the seat when you slide the door open to let us out. The scent of greasy spoon fries and cheeseburgers already filling my nose as we both tumbled our way out, with Rilla making a break for it out of the bus first thing.] Whoa boy!
Peter:
-Opens my mouth to tease you about the cookies comment before Rilla gives that excited tug. My hand shooting out to grab the leash with you and keep him in check- Nah, man. The only one that’s putting burns on her knees is me. -smirks to myself, not looking directly at you as I anticipate your reaction-
Tori:
[Quirks a brow in your direction when your words register and I attempt to hide my smile, my blush too. Failing miserably at both.] Well well, Mr. Gibson. You keep that talk up and we will be getting that meal to go.. [Talk about stretching our legs, I let you take the leash completely when Rilla was having none of that when it came to staying on the bus. He was more than done with being on four wheels at the moment and so was I. We both were. Casually making our way up, I had hooked my arm around yours, letting the protective side of you shine through as we strolled by the pool tables to catch us a seat. A smirk replacing that smile of mine suddenly when an idea comes to mind.] One game. Winner receives head?
Peter:
-When we first walked up to the bar, there were a few leery glances our way because of our big dog we had with us. But by the end of the meal his silly ass had made it a point to befriend every last person on the patio. And mooch his fair share of their food too. With a whistle to call him back to us once again, I shook my head- I think he won tonight. -Sets my pool stick on the table as I rack up the balls- He managed to get his leash taken off, food, and attention from everyone in the place. -laughs- Now, let’s see if he can transfer some of that luck to me.
Tori:
He's a charmer like his dad. [smiling warmly, I tended to my pool stick while you racked the balls, moving into position once you had to get our game on.] You were getting a few looks too, mine. [Not that I could blame them really. You were sex on two legs if you asked me and judging by the score Rilla had secured throughout the evening, it was pretty obvious that I was going home with the top prize. You.] I don't think we had to ask for one refill the whole time. [laughing still, I took my shot then, sinking in that solid purple four ball, and the cue ball right along with it.] Stripes are all you, baby.
Peter:
-Moves behind you before you can stand up from your shot, placing a kiss to the side of your neck- I promise you that if I weren’t here, you’d have to beat them off with a stick. -playfully nips your earlobe before stepping back- Too bad for them, you’re my pretty bird. -shoots you a wink before moving to line up my shot, and landing one of the striped balls in the corner pocket-
Tori:
You're probably right about that too. [Sliding my hands down the length of the table, I bent at the waist to watch you take your next shot. My gaze meeting yours right before you took it with that smirk still firmly in place.] That is so cheating. Distracting me like that, you know.. [I really wasn't playing fair either. Not with the way your eyes would dance further south and back up again. Your gaze lingering just a little too long..] Careful, don't scratch. Winner gets head, remember?
Peter:
-goes to take my next shot, a perfectly aligned and easily one, that I manage to overshoot like I’ve just learned the basics of pool because I’m so damn distracted by you bending over in that shirt- That backfired in the worst way. -laughs with a shake of my head as my gaze lingers for a few more seconds and then flicks back up to your face- Luckily, win or lose…I win. -smirks-
Tori:
I do love the way you think.. [I knew you were going to say that. And just as I went to return the favor, tit for tat, I said as much when I called out my shot, waiting for the seven ball to roll in.] It really is a win win, huh? Right, corner pocket. [kicking up my chin, I went for my next one when the bartender walked up, asking us if we needed anything else. The question causing me to sink in one of your balls instead and I laugh hard.] I'm good. What about you, mine?
Peter:
-Your laugh was one of my favorite sounds, and I couldn’t help but grin when I heard it, shaking my head at the bartender before slapping a sizeable tip in his palm- I think I’m good too. Thank you. -I waited for him to leave before looking over at you with a chuckle- Luck seems to be on my side with the way that turn ended. -eyes the table as I decide my next move-
Tori:
Maybe! [Or maybe not. Wagging my brows in your direction, I left that last part unsaid for now and moved when you moved. Watching from the sidelines as it were with you on one side of the table and me on the other again, I was waiting for you to line up your next shot when I ook the opportunity then to lean way over and whisper to where only you could hear, hoping what I had to say would serve me well in my quest to win.] Or maybe I just want to give you head. There is that too. [Winking, I righted myself then and glanced down at Rilla, seeing him rest at my feet when the chime on my phone alerted me to our reservation being ready and I smiled wickedly.] You know what that means, mine?
Peter:
-Goes to take my shot just as those words left your mouth. Causing my stick to shoot out from my aim and send the ball bouncing across the table pitifully as I dart my eyes first to your chest and then to those pouty lips, and finally your eyes- You’re so damn good.
Tori:
[I could have answered that so many different ways. You knew it too and as I laughed, giving away my guttered mind, I walked around the table to your side, finding the eight ball on my way.] That is true and you haven't given me any complaints so far.. [I held the ball up to show you then before promptly dropping it into the side pocket. Effectively ending the game with yours truly, losing.] It means our cabin awaits and you're going to sleep so good when we get there. My big winner! [smirks]
Peter:
-Pops my brows with a smirk when I realize where your mind went. A low chuckle escaping me as you walk closer before being cut short when you lift that eight ball and drop it into the socket. Wasting no time to drop my pool stick on the table again, pulling you into my arms to capture your lips in a heated kiss before finally speaking- Let’s find this cabin. Because I can assure you that neither one of us is the loser tonight.
Tori:
[If it hadn't been for you holding me up, I would have hit the floor with the way you commanded my attention. That kiss had left me damn near breathless as your words finally filtered through and I let out a soft laugh, nodding right along with you.] You got it, my Peter Pan. [You really didn't have to tell me twice and as I blindly reached for Rilla, my eyes never wanting to leave yours, I broke out that all knowing smile and finally beat feet to race you to the door.]
Peter:
-You held me captive with your gaze. So well that it took my mind a second to catch up when you took off for the door. With another chuckle and shake of my head, I wasted no time going after you. My arms closing around you from behind as I speak against your ear again- A very good night tonight indeed. -releases my hold on you and moves to your side now, taking your hand in mine as we make our way back to the bus-
Tori:
[Feeling those arms wrap me up from behind, I let out a squeal this time and watched as Rilla ran up ahead of us, finally turning to brush a kiss across your cheek as I lace our fingers together, and we reach the bus in no time.] I'm so glad you enjoyed it, mine. You're going to love this place. I just know it. [This sudden detour in our travel plans was well spent and after getting the rental at a decent rate for last minute, I was pleased that we loaded up fairly quickly to head that way. Having given you the address once inside we were all safe and buckled in.] 3 miles up the road per the GPS. Isn't the view beautiful?
Peter:
-The way things just fell into place when I was with you kind of blew my mind. And the level of excitement I could feel radiating off of you would never get old. I planned to keep this happening as often as I could.
As the city melted away and we slowly got swallowed by the trees, I let out a laugh- It’s beautiful, baby. And I know someone who would really appreciate this scenery. -glances back at Rilla when he lets out an oof- Besides him. -bumps our way down the rocky driveway toward the A-frame with my grin a permanent fixture on my face- Fucking perfect.
Tori:
[It really was. From the landscaping to the driveway up front, the more it came into view the more I fell in love. The deep charcoal exterior, acted as the chocolate sprinkles on top.] I can't believe we scored this. It had to be Rilla. They said the fridge is fully stocked too.
[My smile only grew when you parked the bus and we all climbed out, really taking it all in before I turned back to help you with the bags.]
Peter:
-Turns to Rilla, giving him a pat on the head- Good job, my man. -Hops out of the car, pulling that side door open and letting him hop out to inspect the property while we gather up our bags, making sure to give you the lighter one, and chuckling at the look you give me- Humor me, babe. Some habits from my human life stick with me. Blame my mother.
Tori:
Such the gentleman still. I think it's rooted deep in your soul, my Peter Pan. [I would humor you all day long and into the night with the way you escorted me up to the door. Taking the lighter bag without a fuss, I punched in the code that was texted to me that would let us inside, and practically beamed at the living room as we walked in and around, loving how cozy it seemed.] Home sweet home! At least for the next few days. What do you think?
Peter:
-Drops the bags just inside the door as I step further into the room, taking it all in- Now I think I understand Dorian a little better. -Nods, my eyes still wandering around the room- I could get used to this. -Brings my gaze to you now, the overhead lighting making it look like you have a halo, and grins even wider- As long as you’re here with me, of course.
Tori:
You couldn't get rid of me if you tried. [Laughing, I had turned to look into the kitchen, spying how big the sofa was soon after before catching your gaze. My cheeks getting hotter by the second as I turn on my heel to head up the stairs, wanting to check out the loft with you too.]
There's plenty of room to spread out. Rilla can even have his own bed, baby. [The night sky caught my eye then from the window, the view of the stars just as lovely if not more so the higher we went up.] You ready to unwind and veg out with me?
-While you were checking out the kitchen, I took a closer look at the view from the window, half tempted to make an offer to the owners of this place and live with the constant shit Dorian would’ve given me for copying him.
All those thoughts flying out of my mind when you catch my eye again, the blush giving you away and making me smirk- Lead the way, my pretty bird. -The way you looked at me over your shoulder when we were halfway up the stairs let me know that you were fully aware of the real reason I wanted you to lead as you caught me watching your ass. With a shrug, I followed you the rest of the way up the stairs and took in the area- Think we could convince him to sleep on the couch? -I knew as well as you did that wasn’t happening, and I laughed along with you as I moved to get a better look at the view from the window on the ceiling, assessing which bed had the best view out of it-

Road trip (Leg 2, Part 1) Engagement at the Beach
Peter:
-With Arizona and all the glittery fun behind us, we found ourselves in California. I had been dying to get my Pretty Bird to a beach, and now I finally was going to have the chance. Sure, Texas had some. But nothing beats the California ones. There was one in particular that I had in mind to show her. I had only been there once before. But the second we decided to add this part of California to this leg of our trip, I knew that was the one I wanted to show her. It would require a little bit of a hike. But I knew she was good for it. And the payoff was so worth it. We would have privacy and a view. Both pluses in my book. Pulling the bus into one of the parking spots for the main beach, I killed the engine, and just gazed out the windshield at the rolling waves in the distance for a few seconds before turning my attention to @MyJokersWild- You ready, baby?
Tori:
Am I ready? [Smiling ear to ear when you pulled in to park, I gazed out that same windshield for a moment before turning my full attention to you. This trip had so many legs to it that each pitstop we came to was just another item marked off the bucket list. So far, we had stopped in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, was not that long ago from our sights. Each one more amazing than the last and this time, your destination of choice did not disappoint either. The views in sunny California were already stunning.] Of course I am! [Giving a soft nod of my head, my smile permanent, I reached for your door handle to let myself out, climbing right over into your lap to give you a kiss before doing just that.] You've been so secretive about this place, Peter Pan. Show me what it's all about.
Peter:
-my brows popping when you opt to climb over my lap to get out instead of using your door. Instinctively moving my hands to your hips and giving a playful squeeze when you kiss me, and letting out a disapproving sound when you climb out of my lap- We are revisiting that later. -offers you a smirk and a wink before climbing out of the bus myself, and shutting the door shut- I’m glad you chose those shoes. -drops my eyes to the shoes you had put on today- Instead of flip flops. -waves my hand in the direction of the wide expanse of beach in front of us- This is nice. But it’s got nothing on where I want to go. Getting there wouldn’t have been fun in flip flops though. -moves around to the back of the bus while you’re getting Rilla out. Reaching for my black backpack and stuffing some special muffins I had stopped to pick up earlier in. Along with some Kool Aid pouches, and a few other necessities. Then leaning to make sure you’re adequately distracted before checking one last thing in the side pouch and grinning to myself before zipping it up and swinging the backpack on to my back- It’s not far. -slams the hatch closed and comes around the side to meet you and Rilla- Just rocky.
Tori:
Of course, we would be revisiting that, mine. I did it on purpose. [Alright, enough with the torture.. Laughing this time, I watched as you gave me that look and went to the back to get ready, knowing we would be needing some supplies as I bent down to tie my sneaks with a double knot. Poor Rilla was already giving me the what for as I made my way over to the side door finally and I let him out too.] I'm sorry, boy. Lets get you ready. [The beach did look fantastic but I was growing more curious by the second of this secluded paradise you had been describing to me and I clip Rilla's leash on him, slamming the door shut before I meet you on the other side of the bus.] Rocky, I can do. I think a bit of a hike could be fun. You ready to lead the way?
Peter:
-places a hand at the small of your back and pulls you closer for a lingering kiss. Only stopping with a chuckle when Rilla starts to bark his disapproval at all this standing around- See those rocks built up over there. -points off to the west where there seems to be a natural end to the beach- That’s where we’re headed. -pulls my sunglasses from the top of my head and pops them in place with a grin before taking your free hand and guiding you across the sand-
Tori:
Okay, Rilla, we're going, boy! [Letting you take the lead after that lingering kiss, I can't help but give your hand a squeeze as we make our way down the beach. Rilla's own excitement bubbling over as he tugs on the leash to pull us faster. Having been cooped up for too long in the bus for his liking, I couldn't fault the young at heart old man for wanting to stretch his legs too. While there was no rush for either of us, no itinerary to keep up to, we were pretty much on our own for a Tuesday afternoon once we had broken away from the small group of people that had along the way had laid claim to their own spots on the beach. Our eager feet carrying us swiftly to the starting point of our hike.] How far up are these rocks, mine?
Peter:
Not high at all. -glances over my shoulder at the smattering of humans spread out on the beach in various places- They are just too lazy to figure that out. -brings my attention back to yours with a wink- Lucky for us. -takes the leash from you now- I’ll take Rilla though. I don’t want him to knock you off balance. And there’s going to be at least one place I’m gonna have to lug his ass. -allows you to start out ahead, smirking to myself at how the view I was getting was an added bonus then follows you up the sides of the rocks-
Tori:
[I had a feeling the suggestion of taking Rilla was heavily laced with more than the good manners you were undoubtedly raised with as a human. A tall, warm blooded male human at that.. So.. Of course, that didn't bother me in the slightest and I made sure to give you the best show of your life with my hips and ass playing the leading role in the slight peeks you were given. Climbing up over one rock, the boulders starting to cluster closer the further I went before it started to taper off. Waiting for you to catch up to me, I took a glance over my shoulder to see how far back you were and if you needed help with Rilla when I saw you were almost right on top of me with our boy in your arms.] You want me to take him?
Peter:
-looks down at his grinning spoiled ass in my arms and laughs- I got him. But what I do want you to do is check this out. -guides you a few more feet to the right and over one last rock before the view opens up- It’s all downhill from here. -sets Rilla down, stumbling a little when he attempts to take off down the path toward the beach, and ultimately just lets his leash go so he can run off ahead of us to our own private cove-
Tori:
[Just a few more feet and one more rock before the view took my breath away for I don't know how long. Reaching the clearing, I just stood there, soaking it all in before your voice and Rilla's broke through, catching my attention too.] You've been here before? [I couldn't help it. I literally gasped at every new sight I took in as we made our descent back down.] This is gorgeous.. Baby... [Gazes over to you finally and squeezes your hand, letting you pull me when I see that grin of yours widen further and I whistle for Rilla to hold up. Not wanting him to wander too far away from us when we finally reach the sand.]
Peter:
-I had to stop myself from pulling a Rilla and yanking you now as my excitement grew with each new gasp you let out- Only once before. I’ve been dying to show you this since we first started making plans for this trip. -chuckles, coming to a stop when we finally reach the sand- I doubt anyone will be joining us either. -releases your hand to pull my backpack off, dropping it on the ground so that I can squat down and pull out a couple of beach towels, and holding one out to you- I have Kool Aid and some special muffins. -catches your eye with a smirk to make sure you caught the meaning behind that- Or we can chill here...swim. Whatever my Pretty Bird wants.
Tori:
Whatever I want? [Ponders this for all of two seconds before giving you a wink.] What if I want both? [A kid at Christmas had absolutely nothing on you in the excitement department. It practically radiated off of you like a 1970's San Francisco heat wave once we reached the landing you had chosen and we pulled up some sand. Quickly rolling my towel out, I give it a quick "pop" before laying it down. My eyes never leaving yours once I do.] I'm down for whatever you had planned for us. I know one thing, I'm taking off these shoes. [Rilla was already snooping around your backpack with you, wanting his own beverage of choice while I worked at the knots I had made on my sneaks.] You really think it will just be us out here? [The wheels were already turning when shoe number one went, then number two.] No tan lines..
Peter:
-the mention of no tan lines had my brain misfiring as I froze in place, my eyes the only thing moving as they quickly flicked over to you to make sure I wasn’t missing anything important- I am confident that we will have no visitors. -looks over my shoulder at the rocks we just crossed over then back at you, bringing my hand up so I can tap my temple, signaling my gift- As a matter of fact, I know it. -falls back on my ass now when Rilla nudges me, and laughs- Listen, man. When a woman says something like that, you have to give her your full attention. -digs through the backpack for the collapsible dog bowl and a bottle of water, setting the dude up so he’ll get off my case-
Tori:
[Part of me knew it really didn't matter. If the likes of anyone were to round the bend, and cross over those rocks, I knew you would probably be up topside to greet them before they could fully acknowledge my naked ass. Even so, I laughed as I watched you with Rilla, taking the opportunity to tug on the back tie of my top and dropping it to the ground first, my bottoms went next before I got comfortable on my towel beside you, and stretched out, basking in the sun and your stare for a moment.] You hungry for a muffin yet, mine?
Peter:
-thank fuck I already had my ass planted in the sand. Because the sight of all that sun kissed skin never ceased to rendered me temporarily stupid as I allowed my eyes to trail over every last inch. The smirk on your face as you kept your eyes closed, enjoying the heat, let me know that you were well aware of my gawking, and I let out a low chuckle- I’m hungry for something all right. -refocusing on the backpack, I plucked out the two muffins I had picked up earlier before scooting my way closer to you, careful not to kick up a bunch of sand as I did- They’re blueberry. -grins proudly at that fact as I hold one out to you-
Tori:
Blueberry! Really? This is the most perfect date, mine. [Between the view, you and the blueberry goodness I now held in my hand, I knew my night was about to be made. You knew they were my favorite and as I propped up on one elbow, turning toward you when you handed me my mine, I leaned in further to press a tender kiss to your lips when you met me half way, naturally so.] I don't think this could get any better. Beside well, obviously, the muffin. Your kisses. You. [Laughing softly, I only pulled back long enough to slide the blueberry muffin up between us, giving us each a big ole bite. Humming softly as I began to chew with you.]
Peter:
-watches you with a playful glint in my eye as you speak- You sure? There’s nothing else that could make this day even better? -takes the offered bite, and takes my time chewing as I wait for your answer-
Tori:
Is @Snoopdogg going to pop out and smoke a blunt with us later? [Quickly, taking another bite to hold back my laugh, my smile was infectious once again when that memory comes to mind. I was only somewhat kidding but seeing you give me that look again, I was two stops short of pretty bird wasted as we liked to call it. Holding your gaze, I swallowed those last few bites I had and moved to lay back on my elbows again, watching you for a moment longer as I really gave the question some thought.] Are you going to make some fireworks? Paint the sky?
Peter:
Funny you should mention Snoop. -pauses long enough that you glance over my shoulder as if you’re expecting him to start descending the rocks next and chuckles- Unfortunately, he won’t be making it. But, I did get you this. -unzips that side pocket of my backpack meant for laptops and pulls out a box, waiting for you to sit up a little again before holding it out to you-
Tori:
Are you serious right now? Is it really his stuff? I love it! [Sitting up a little straighter when I see you go for a box, I pull it over into my lap for a better look with you when I flip the lid back open, seeing the bong inside. My laugh carried across the waves next as I started to look around you to the bag, then back to you once more.] You want to load it now or wait? You feeling your muffin yet?
Peter:
I’m always down to load it. -smirks- But wait. There’s a little more. I also got you an extra accessory to go with it. -digs a little deeper into that same pocket, pulling out a smaller box and palming it so that you can’t really make out what it is first. Taking your left hand in mine, and clearing my throat- Fuck. -chuckles nervously- You know I suck at words and feelings and shit, yeah? So, don’t hold my lack of suave against me when you answer. -Watches you for a few seconds until you humor me with a nod of your head and starts again- I have tried the love thing a couple times. Failed a couple times too. But this time around, things are so damn different. I mean it when I say, I am convinced you were molded inside and out specifically for me. My pretty bird. -grins wide- There isn’t a single damn thing I would change about you. But there is something I want to change about us. -finally reveals the little brown heart shaped box in my hand and flicks it open with my thumb to reveal the ring inside- Will you complete our little family, and marry me?
Tori:
[If there was ever truly an out of body experience, this was it... I knew something was up but when I saw the new bong I really thought that was it. Maybe some literal sex on the beach a little later and let's be honest, after this, it was for sure happening now BUT as I listened to you pour your heart out, those words you thought sucked so bad, struck so deeply. The arrow you fired met its intended target, me. Of course, it was then that the muffin really hit and only a soft sigh left my lips as I grasped fully what you had asked me at the end. Marry you. That really happened. And now, just now. Sitting up with a start fully, you still had my hand and was holding the box. Waiting for that answer.] Oh, Peter... [Those terms of endearment I gave didn't seem nearly enough. Your words were on repeat in my ears.."There isn’t a single damn thing I would change about you. But there is something I want to change about us." Yes. Yes, a million times, yes. There I was, naked as the day I was born being proposed to and nodding my damn head like my life depended on it. To the outside world, to anyone that truly knew us, it kind of did.] Yes, I will be your pretty bird forever. [I was, heart, body and soul, but watching you slip that ring on my finger, that bong was forgotten about as I moved to climb into your lap, my lips seeking out yours instantly.]
Peter:
-blows out the breath I was holding when you agree on a chuckle before welcoming you into my lap, one of my hands sliding up into the back of your hair to keep your lips against mine for a slow, tender kiss while the other rests at the small of your back, and allowing the kiss to linger a little longer before slowly releasing your lips with a grin- I fucking you love you, baby. And I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
Tori:
And I love you. You're still all I see and you make me the happiest pretty bird on the planet. [It was true. From the moment you had come back into my life, you had been this light in what had been a rather dark chapter. Forcing me to want more than I ever wanted for myself with a gentle kindness that you bestowed to me all those moons ago. Bringing my lips to yours again, I got real comfortable then, having no shame when my body fused to yours, my hips rocking as I spoke low. Those swim trunks absolute torture by now I was sure.] What all did you bring in that back pack, mine? [Nipping at your bottom lip, I laughing again too.] I want to stay the night out here.
Peter:
-lets out a low groan when you rock your hips against me then grins up at you, my fingers brushing through your hair now- Luckily, I somehow knew you would want that too. And I figured you wouldn’t mind sleeping under the stars, yeah? -reaches over with one hand, patting the backpack- I’ve got all the necessities for a night out here. Just us and the beach. -winks-
Tori:
You got it. Us and the beach. It couldn't have been more perfect, baby. [If we needed to hike back we could but for now, I wasn't leaving you or this cove. Rilla had settled down, gathering himself a drink before tearing into the back pack for a snack. A laugh escaped my lips again when I catch him and get him to park it before I turn my attention back to you, thinking a dip in the ocean could wait, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of our engagement night in your arms.] #PrettyBirdWasted #PeterPanStoned

Road trip (Leg 1, Part 5) Pride in the Pines #TheRedDoorsWrite
Peter:
-I knew there was a reason I packed this shiny gold vest at the last minute. I had even pulled it out of my bag at one point, sure there was no way in hell I was going to need it on the trip. But just like every other time my fucked up version of a Spidey sense was tingling, I ultimately gave in and trusted that it meant it would come in handy at some point. And low and behold, here we were. We had seen the advertisements all over Northern Arizona for Pride in the Pines. And decided it would be a fun thing to check out before we rolled out of the state to continue our trek west. As I eyed myself in the mirror, it felt like something was missing. Reaching for one of my hats hanging on the pegs near the bed, I tried my usual brown one on for size and shook my head. I may not know shit about fashion. But I knew that didn’t work. Tossing that one on the bed, I reached for the black one. There it was. That was the missing piece. With a grin and a nod, I made my way out of the bus in search of @MyJokersWild-
Tori:
[I could have watched him a thousand times try on hat after hat and the reaction would have still been the same. It was no secret that @PeterKnowsShit was a fine specimen to look at but put him in that button up and vest? Well, let's just say that soft sigh that left my lips was paying homage to women across the world that ever had a thing for a man that knew how to rock an entrance and the color gold.] My Gods.. [When you did the spin for me to fully take it all in, I couldn't help but laugh almost nervously.] You can't be serious right now. Peter Pan! [Wolf whistling, I wasn't even sure I knew what I was asking but I did know one thing, the festivities that awaited us that night were something I was never going to forget, especially with the likes of you in that hat.]
Peter:
-My grin was instant when my eyes landed on my pretty bird, and I let out a chuckle at that wolf whistle- Well, I was second guessing the C-3PO vest. But if it gets that reaction out of you… -winks as I walk up and place a tender kiss to your lips- Have you ever hit up one of these pride things before, babe?
Tori:
Not here but elsewhere I have! [It wasn't my first rodeo at a PRIDE celebration and once I had turned into a free spirited teen like my mother, there wasn't one I missed since. Whether it was to pay my respects to those few that had gone before me, celebrating in their honor and in general or to be with others of my kind, I always looked forward to the month of June every year. This year however, was even more special because I got to spend it with you. That fact fueled my excitement the more I checked you out in your attire for the evening and I gave you a quick kiss back, careful not to get any more glitter on your clothes. Let alone your mouth as our chariot awaited. Our sights set on downtown where you could already hear the buzzing of the car horns and music blaring from loudspeakers. The energy alone, was calling our names like a corner street light coming on would. That being the signal from childhood that it was past time to come home.]
Peter:
-The closer that we got to our destination, the more palatable your excitement got. And I found myself stealing even more glances than usual at you. It didn’t help the way that colorful eyeshadow seemed to make your eyes pop even more, and briefly had me wishing that my vest had been a more vibrant color to match- I’ve been a couple times for various reasons. -grins- It’s always a good time. But I have a feeling this year is going to top even those. -places a hand on your thigh, giving a playful squeeze- Anything in particular that makes Pride for you? Something you have to see or do to make it complete?
Tori:
You mean besides one of the famous shows and a joint? A toast at the end of the night! Mmm, pancakes at IHOP or Denny's sounds amazing too. [Who was I kidding? Of course, I only had to ponder your question for a moment when instantly a shot of Peppermint Schnapps with a Miller High Life came to mind, a dear old friend's signature drink in memory and a tale that would spark laughter in all those who heard it was soon to follow as you made the drive for us and parked once we arrived in true stoner fashion. One of the clubs had to be in our sights but not before we made our way over to the walkway of tents you had every plan of showing off to me then. The smile on my face only widened the closer we got as I heard the hostess with the mostess over the outdoor intercom system. The celebrations

Peter:
-As we made our way through all the different tents, most of them adorned with shirts that said things like, ‘Adam and Steve, not Adam and Eve,” I couldn’t ignore the loud booming music from the drag tent. My eyes occasionally flicking over there to catch glimpses of big wigs and colorful lights. By the time we reached the end of the row, I turned to you with a raised brow- What is it with Liza Minnelli and drag queens? This is like the third one I’ve heard...
Tori:
It won’t be the last either. She is an icon, mine. Judy Garland’s daughter. [Smiling as we made our way down the rest of the strip, the make-up was flawless, not a hair out of place and as I walked through with you, to the human eye, we were mingling with the stars. Liza, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, and Lady Gaga, were all in attendance and let me just say, they did not disappoint. Nor did Mariah Carey number three four and five. Between merchandise booths from local artists and the bars open for curbside, there wasn’t a stone left unturned when it came to celebrating, or showing our love and support for our community, our friends and our family. Having reached the end of the row, we were having to make a decision to go either left or right. Either way we chose, the day of adventures already proved we were in for a treat and I ducked my head inside the first tent on my right to see what was going on inside, dragging you with me. The scent of that powerful herb hitting my senses like a ton of bricks was too inviting to ignore once I caught wind of it.] You smell that, Peter Pan? [That’s when we found them, or maybe I should say they found us. There she was as if I had plucked her right out of the movie itself and before you know it, her voice like velvet filled the air. Mother Judy. It was Dorothy, in the flesh. “My my, if he’s Peter Pan, hold up Tink. They do not make men like him anymore, honey.” I flat out snickered. That smile growing incredibly wide as the ladies, Mariah number six and myself, fawned all over mine as we shared not one but three blunts going around our little drum circle and what they had signed us up for next was something that was going to go down into the history books indeed.]
Peter:
-Sitting there in that vest, you would think I would be the brightest one in the room. But the way these women were dressed made it look like I was wearing a potato sack of boredom. And the more times I was passed to, the more vibrant everything seemed to become. Looking down at the blunt in my hand as I slowly exhaled, I popped my brows. This shit just might give my homegrown pride a run for its money. I was so lost in that thought, that I didn’t even notice the music getting louder, and was caught by surprise when an impeccably manicured hand pushed me back. Before I could utter a word I was overwhelmed by the smell of expensive perfume and hairspray. Not my pretty bird. Definitely, not my pretty bird. I wish I could tell you which one it even was that was now using me as a prop to their show but all I could see was hair. Lots of hair coming to swallow me whole. It got in my nose, my eyes, and as I coughed and choked a little at the taste of aforementioned hairspray, in my mouth. As I worked to pull my head back and breathe non aerosol air, I briefly wondered if this was the way that I was going to go. A long ass life burned out in a blaze of glittery glory. But just as the desperation was starting to take over, the song ended and my lap was free again. Taking a big gulp of air, I realized even though the wig had departed my lap, there was still enough hair in my mouth to make another of my own. Shooting @MyJokersWild a look of desperation, I attempted to pluck the hairs from my tongue-
Tori:
A human chair? My Peter Pan? [I laughed. That blunt now long gone but the conversation between Dorothy and myself had still been in full swing as I chanced glances @PeterKnowsShit’s way, making sure he was alright with the sudden burst of attention he was getting. The second his hat went however, all bets were off, that long hair of his not just my undoing but the collective “Girrrrrl.” that sounded around the makeshift dressing room could have been heard two streets over if you asked me. “Do you see him, Dorothy! Right off the cover of one of those romance novels. He has to be in the show! The crowd will eat him up honey if I don’t first!” All those big hopeful eyes were on him, even the Mariahs’ were laying the eye fucking on thick and I couldn’t help but nod my head, giving him a wink.] Just one song.. [Cracking up, I was still high as hell but managed to get back up on my feet, Dorothy already joining @PeterKnowsShit with the rest of the ladies and I gave him the universal hand gesture for grabbing a drink, knowing that if I was feeling thirsty as hell, so was he as our newfound friends began to help you get ready with the sounds of I’m coming out starting to play.]
Peter:
-I was still picking the hair out of my mouth when I vaguely heard @MyJokersWild referring to me as a human chair. And damn if that wasn’t an accurate description of what I had just been through. I was still reeling so much from the first round that I didn’t even fight my hat being plucked from my head and placed atop another wigged one. Was that one of the Mariahs? Hell, if I knew. But I was interrupted from that thought process when the chorus of, ‘Girrrrl,’ sounded around me. Now my eyes were darting between dramatically made up faces as they plotted my ass being part of the show. What the hell was going on here? Bringing my eyes back to my pretty bird as she joined right in on the encouragement, I knew I was outnumbered- What all does this entail? -my brow cocked in a show of are you fucking kidding me when Liza number one answered with, ‘Don’t you trust us?’ I had to bite back an answer of, ‘To thoroughly suffocate me and make me the first vampire ever to die at the hands of a drag queen? Yes.’ Apparently I wasn’t going to be answered as a chorus of laughs now filled the dressing tent and suddenly I was being accosted by brushes and pink fuzzy blobs of nope. Now, I was cursing every thought I had about not being colorful enough because I was sure by the time this was done, I was going to be everything but bland. Suddenly a blast of cold and perfumed something hit my face, causing me to blink rapidly- Fuck! That burns? What the hell was that? Satan’s piss? -Another round of laughter at my expense as my hair was tousled and then they all stepped back admiring me. ‘You know what he would be perfect for?’ Liza number one turned to one of the Mariahs with a knowing nod. My eyes flicking between the two of them as they seemed to have a silent conversation- What? What would I be perfect for? I’m not wearing a dress. -Finally they seemed to hear me as Mariah shook her head, “Oh, no, no, honey. A dress you will not wear. You’ll just join Belle over here in her rendition of Beauty and the Beast. Damn it, I forgot the mask. But we’ll make it work.” Next thing I knew, I was in the middle of the stage, bright lights shining on me as I looked out at the crowd which was now packed. I had made it clear to them that dancing was not my strong suit. So, if they expected me to do anything complicated, they were going to regret it. After many attempts to teach me to “flow” across the stage and me nearly tumbling off the side as I blinked through the mountains of spray glitter they had sprayed on me, they finally took my words to heart and allowed me to stay put in a chair. Luckily, this time around the wig was some complicated up do that stayed out of my face. And Belle proved to be a little more hands off as she danced around me, mouthing the words. What I hadn’t accounted for was how fucking long the song was under those bright lights. Now, that damn vest was working like a sauna, causing me to sweat. And wouldn’t you know it, Belle was sweating too under that dress and wig. She was also getting awfully fucking touchy again. I tried, man. I fucking tried to be a good sport. Grinning through the pain as that shit dripped into my eyeballs. I wasn’t going to see right for a week. Then she propped herself in my lap again, sweaty body to sweaty body as she casually slid that glove from her hand, and flicked it out into the crowd just in time for another fucking song to start. Glaring up at Belle with red, glitter filled eyes, I mumbled- I thought it was just one song? It took a few notes before I recognized what fucking song it was now. Just in time for Belle to stand, ripping off her dress to reveal a sparkly bodysuit beneath, and striking a pose as she mouthed the lyrics, ‘It’s raining men!” To my horror several leather clad men jumped up on the stage and began gyrating around me. I attempted to get up only to be slammed back into the chair and held there by Belle’s surprisingly strong grip, a quick shake of her head that had a small drop of glitter sweat flicking from the end of her nose and smacking me right in the middle of the
forehead. Nope. This was done. I promised one song. I struggled with Belle as she motioned for her dancers to help her out. Now the Village People from Hell were holding me in place as Belle did dances that would make a stripper blush. Then it happened. That glittered up chest was being pressed to the side of my head as I clawed and fought for freedom. I don’t know what the hell those boobs were made of, but it definitely wasn’t soft. And as she turned to the crowd in a dramatic flourish, I seized the opportunity to jump up and yank myself free of her hold. Only to trip on that motherfucking wire of her microphone. Haven’t these people heard of wireless microphones? Instinctually, I reached out in an attempt to break my fall, which only brought Belle down with me, in a faceplant right to the groin that I couldn’t have planned if I tried. With a shove of Belle, I was up off that ground and jumping from the stage in a beeline for the exit of that damn tent. Only stopping once I was sure I was free to send @MyJokersWild a text- Oh dear God, it got in my mouth again. Help!
Tori:
I’ll be right back... [Famous last words and sure enough, I sing-songed all four of them before I ducked completely out of @PeterKnowsShit’s line of sight, realizing the words had left my lips before I could stop them as my mind finally caught up, and of course I knew better. I. Knew. Better. A jinx, was a jinx was a jinx as my dad would say and in this case, it was a given that the moment you did say those words, the next thing you knew, you’ll be two songs deep into a rescue mission while still waiting for those celebratory free gratis drinks you were gifted for helping out. My Peter Pan was being a good sport about the whole thing, totally and completely on board through the rainbow filled haze we found ourselves in.. One song, @PeterKnowsShit had agreed to just one and I had reassuringly went along with it because seeing him up there, well, it just added to the “Remember that one time..” list of memories we were making here. So when I saw Dorothy’s head pop up not a second later out of nowhere while I was standing in line for the bar, I couldn’t help but wonder what awaited me upon my return. My view of the stage had been nearly blocked off by paying customers more than ready to wet their whistles and before I knew it, Dorothy’s arm was hooked around mine, dragging me to the front of the line, calling in a favor or two no less, I was sure when the stools before us suddenly opened up and the invitation presented itself. “I can’t thank your man enough! All of us have had our fair share of turns playing Beast for Crazy Belle all month! The goddess herself has smiled down upon me with the likes of you two!”] If you don’t mind me asking, why do they call her crazy? [When I was met with a “You’re about to find out.” Drinks now in hand, or one hand rather, I watched as Dorothy graciously grabbed my free hand and helped me climb up on the stool to get a better look, seeing how she had done the same only seconds ago. Before I could fully take it all in, a flash of gold filled the sky as a surge of bodies surrounded and began piling up on the stage. The big finale was raining men literally. And just like with lightning, realization struck again.] Oh no… [It wasn’t just a finale, it was an encore too. Every performer from along the boulevard, was making their way up to the stage just in time for us all to see @PeterKnowsShit almost levitate, and yes, I mean close your eyes and up you go levitate. It wasn’t even ninety seconds later that he was in that sitting position one minute, and almost off the stage the next… Almost. Life as we know it sometimes has a way of making our wildest dreams come true and in that moment as the stage was descended upon by every color of the rainbow, I laughed at the sight of you popping out of what could only be described as a huge pot of gold. And while you were magically delicious, Belle was no match for your Beast literally when she met him in the form of your crotch. That was it. You were gone in a sea of wigs galore and lifting my head back, I let out a loud whistle before taking a leap of my own down off the stool, drink still in hand when I got that incoming text alert from you. “Oh dear God, it got in my mouth again. Help!“ As quick as my fingers flew across the screen with an “OMW” back, I was just as quick to fire off another one too.] I can’t believe you stuck your dick in crazy! [Hitting send, I laughed again and sent a follow up before pocketing my cell as I made my way outside, in search of you. That’s right. He didn’t know it yet but I saw it all and pancakes were most definitely on the menu. I just had to know if @PeterKnowsShit preferred Denny’s or IHOP.....]
Peter:
-The sound of @MyJokersWild calling my name jarring me out of my trance as a grin instantly spreads across my face at the sound of your laughter. I was about to point out again that had I known she was referred to as Crazy Belle, I would’ve resisted the whole thing a little harder. Only I was interrupted by the waitress appearing at our table with our pancake orders. Now my mind was effectively redirected to the doughy goodness that would soon be filling my mouth. And by the time both plates were set in front of us, I had already placed the blueberry syrup I knew was your favorite in front of you, and was reaching for the OG for myself. Taking the time to draw designs on my pancakes with the syrup as I poured, I only looked up at your question. “Thinking about the night again?” That knowing smirk you sported causing me to chuckle low, and shake my head.- Baby, I’m going to be thinking about last night for ages to come. -picks up my fork, cutting off my first bite, and popping it into my mouth before offering you a closed mouth grin- #TheRedDoorsWrite #Pride

Road Trip (Leg 1, Part 4) Wigwam Motel
Tori:
[The hotel in Holbrook wasn't that far but before we checked in, a store run was so very much going to be needed. As well as another bowl before lights out.] Any special requests?
Peter:
-pops my brows when you start to laugh before giving in to my own chuckle- I’m not even gonna argue. Because you’re right. -opens your door for you, and waits for you to get in before shutting it and leaning through the window for one more kiss. Then jogs around to the other side and hops in, eager to get our asses back on the road toward that hotel and a store along the way- I bet you can guess? -glances over at you with a smirk- Doritos and Kool-Aid. They make those little packets that you can dump into a water bottle.
Tori:
You want tropical punch or grape? There's also cherry too. And we will need beef jerky. Oh, nacho cheese and cool ranch! [Nodding in agreement with you, there really were some things that were just staples and Doritos, was one of them. Even before you had jogged around and got into the bus, I had wanted to keep you leaning in through that passenger side window, the possibilities endless when it came to the list continuing to form despite you being the distraction that you were.] We need something chocolate too, remember?
Peter:
You know what I miss? -glances at you again- Sharkleberry Fin. That flavor is so damn hard to find anymore. -shakes my head as I ponder the injustice of it- But cherry or strawberry sounds good too right now. -reaches down with one of my hands to pat the ice chest- We are also out of the special brownies. So good call on needing something chocolate. -takes that same hand and moves it to rest on your thigh, giving a playful squeeze-
Tori:
Sharkleberry Fin! That sounds so good right now. [The truth was, I hadn't had that flavor in so long. The mere mention of it brought back so many childhood memories that a pang of nostalgia hit me hard and I tilted my head your way when I felt the bus roll to a stop.] That really is one of the best flavors. I'll see if they have it! [The day had turned to night once again and as we pulled up to the convenience store, with our list of delicious stoner snack foods in hand, I got out of the bus ready to stretch my legs with you. Waiting for you to lock up, I took a look across the street to see our home away from home for the night and smiled wide, thinking it was going to be pretty awesome once we were checked in. The sight of it something straight out of the 1960's itself.]
Peter:
-walks up behind you, wrapping my arms around you, and placing a kiss to the side of your neck before following your eyes over to the motel- Honestly, I’ve always seen this place and wanted to stop in. I’m glad I waited for you to do it. -places one more kiss against the side of your neck before letting you go and catching your hand to lead the way-
Tori:
I've heard they are really old. Perfect for if you want to get lost for a little bit and stretch out! Plus I just think it would be cool too. [Leading the way, I smile as I tug you along and into the store, grabbing up one of the push baskets.] We're going to need stuff to grill out and 3 cases of water.. Ice.. [One by one, I pushed the cart, looking around and gathering our supplies with you.] Have you ever tried peyote, mine?
Peter:
-allows you to take the lead, following along as I eye the shelves for anything we may have missed- That’s the cactus hallucinogen, yeah? -shakes my head- I don’t think I have ever tried it. -casually tosses some Twinkies in the cart- Have you?
Tori:
It is. Native Americans have used it for thousands of years. You can make a tea out of it like shrooms. Or dry it out and smoke it. There's a few other ways too. [I flashed the clerk a bright smile as we spoke, passing by on our way to the produce to grab up some fruit. Blueberries especially were calling my name.] I've done shrooms more times than I have peyote. Uncle Jerry's shroom tea is the best. Oh, the Kool-Aid! [I almost forgot and circled back around, grabbing up some little cuties too.]
Peter:
-nods thoughtfully- I’ll have to let you pop my cherry with it then. -smirks at my phrasing as I fall back a little, briefly distracted by a car on the cover of one of the magazine, and then quickly catching up again- I’m also curious about the shroom tea. I’ve had that before. But I’ve never had his. So… -winks at you before leaning down to scan the different types of Koolaid available when we finally find them-
Tori:
Just think, we go back in time, in this very spot, meet up with Jerry and before you know it, we'll be seeing those dancing Grateful Dead bears, mine! You'll be in safe hands. [Man, it had been so long since I seen them. All of them, the bands and as we made our way back to the front to pay, Kool-Aid crisis diverted, I thought about the blast we would have scoring some shrooms on the trip.] It's happening now, mine. [Laughing and finally paying after the clerk bagged it up, I head back out to the bus with you, wanting to wait until you've checked us in to take Rilla out for his nightly walk with keys in hand.]
Peter:
-I couldn’t help but grin wide at the image you were painting. A part of me tempted to say let’s go now. But then I reminded myself that there would be plenty of time to do everything we had on our list of adventures. Offering a jerk of my chin to theclerk as I gave a little wave on our way out, I followed you to the van- You got this while I go check us in? -gestures to the bags, and when you agree, reaches into the bus to scratch Rilla’s head- Anyone comes near our girl, you know what to do. -smirks at you before pulling you in for a quick kiss, and jogging across the street to procure our own private teepee-
Tori:
[Giving your ass a smack before you got away completely, I called out to you as you crossed the street.] Don't worry! We got this! [That kiss still lingered not only on my lips but also in my mind, my gaze on you for the longest before I turned back to Rilla to fasten his leash and let him jump out, bags loaded up now.] You'll just Brandy their ass like in the movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, huh? Just got to click the roof of my mouth and it's on like Donkey Kong! [I had no doubt Rilla would protect me, or us. Our four legged son was on the clock so to speak until you came strolling back our way, the flashing light from the key in your hand and that smile, a dead giveaway that all was right with the world, at least for tonight.]

Road Trip (Leg 1, Part 3) Swimming and Winslow, Arizona
Tori:
It had been a few days since that car ride, the trip to the museum and I could tell @PeterKnowsShit was still flying sky high from being able to slide his ass into the leather seat of that Cobra. If there ever were a cloud nine with cars, my man was on it. Even so, I watched with a longing to see that goofy grin on his face anytime I could put it there. And this stop in our travels, had been no exception to do just that. It was an unplanned stop, sure but when we rolled into town, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go. Twisting @PeterKnowsShit's arm to agree? Never. Any chance I could give that man to see me closer to bare-assed the better and honestly, if I could ditch the clothes altogether I would.
Unfortunately, that would have to wait until after hours of course but until then, the thin straps of black fabric you could call a bikini would have to do. In which by the look on @PeterKnowsShit’s face, he had no problem with that at all.] Peter Pan Gibson.. Were you listening again? [Spying was more like it. I couldn’t help but ask however with that all-knowing grin taking up residence on your face. The crowd was somewhat scarce for a Wednesday afternoon but by the small head count I had taken upon our arrival, it seemed there were a few good stories you just couldn’t pass up on with your special eavesdropping capabilities as I had grown to call them. Lowering my sunglasses a tad, I looked over the top of them and gave you a wink. The heat from the sun’s kisses to my skin a welcomed reminder that summer was right around the corner and the small patch of grass I had taken claim to with our gear, was the perfect setup for our picnic. Not to mention, all the deep blue we were about to dive into.]
Peter:
If I wasn't sure you were my dream woman before, that night with the Cobra sealed the deal. I truly thought I was damned to be unlucky ever since I made the choice to have @OfUndeadWings turn me. But somehow, some deity somewhere decided I wasn't too much of an asshole to get some happiness. And damn if I wasn't just that. The only thing that would've made that night better would've been if we could've christened the Cobra too. The thought had my eyes flicking over to you with a smirk. As my mind began to run wild with a fantasy about just that, you pulled me out of my head, "Peter Pan Gibson...were you listening again?'" That earned a low chuckle. I took my time admiring every inch of you in that little black bikini before giving a shrug of one shoulder- You would do it too if you were me. -leaning to catch your lips in the millionth kiss of the day before I got my ass in gear to set thing up for our picnic. You had already taken the time to spread out the blanket that you were laid out on. So, I made myself useful by unpacking the food, pausing to toss a piece of turkey that had fallen out of one of the sandwiches to Rilla-
Tori:
Now, you're right! I will give you that. I would rather you tell me these stories out loud though.. [I had to give you that one and as I laughed, moving to sit up, helping you unpack the sandwiches, I gestured towards the sign from when we rolled in. Offering another piece of turkey to Rilla before I spoke.] Do you know the deepest you've ever gone?
[81 feet. The sign said 81 feet and peering over, taking it all in, I was curious if you could without any gear as I popped a blueberry into my mouth, rolling it around on my tongue.]
Peter:
-once all the food was unpacked I wasted no time plucking up a sandwich and taking a bite. Instantly, I regretted that decision when you asked me how deep I had gone and I began to choke on that bite of sandwich. Normally, maybe, I wouldn’t have immediately gone to a sexual place, but with the train of thought I already had been on that’s the first place I went. Swallowing the too big piece and cringing as it scraped its way down, I reached for one of the sodas, drinking greedily before answering- How deep have I... -finally my brain started catching up when I saw your eyes locked on the sign behind me, glancing over my shoulder, I started to laugh- I’m not really sure what is the deepest I’ve gone. You wanna see if I could do this one?
Tori:
You're really thirsty today, mine. [I could only imagine where your mind went with that. All joking aside, I watched as you downed that soda in almost ten seconds flat. Laughing with a shake of my head next when you caught up to what I was really asking. Which only served to lead me to have to answer your question now. And I wasn't prepared for that.] Well, I don't want you hurt. I know that. I mean you're not diving to the center of the Earth are you? [Decisions, Decisions. Glancing between you and Rilla, I worried my lip thinking it over. The truth was, I didn't know the deepest either for myself but there was only one way to find out. Working my pendant off, I smiled wrapping the chain around my ankle finally, fixing the clasp. Losing it wasn't an option and as I got up to stretch, looking out at all that blue, I made my mind up about going in. Only to pause right before my run to glance back to you, then Rilla.] You stay right here, boy. Unless you want to jump in too. [Giving you one last wink, I turned back and took off in a dead run, jumping right off that plank, making it my first dive of the season with you.]
Peter:
-finishes off the soda and wipes my mouth with the back of my hand before grinning at you. I knew damn well you had figured out where my mind went. But I couldn't find it in me to care. Then you started fastening your pendent to your ankle. Which had me focusing on the smooth tan skin of your leg. And...there went my mind again. Fucking hell if you didn't keep me perpetually in the gutter just by existing. Leaning back on my hands, I watched you unabashedly as you stood, my eyes trailing that sinfully perfect body as you did, and only flicking my eyes to Rilla briefly when he sat up at attention by your movement. It was safe to say that I wasn't the only one that you had dedicated to you for life. Lifting a brow as he laid back down, I took note of how he didn't even listen to me that well and let out a chuckle. Staying in place only a few seconds longer as I watched you run to the edge of the water then climbing to my feet. That primal instinct inside of me was starting to kick in at the sight of what is mine running away from me, and I made quick work of pulling my shirt off over my head and tossing it behind me as I took off after you. Whether Rilla stayed or followed, I had no clue. My focus was zeroed in on you as I dove into the water behind you-
Tori:
[Ass biting cold and a blue sky above us. That was the first thought I had and the first thing I saw when I broke the surface, the air I had left rushed out of my lungs just in time for my eyes to fly open and see Rilla barking up at the top of the landing. Quickly assessing my surroundings, you were nowhere in sight but I played this game with you before and knew you were close. With that thought now in mind, a poor reenactment of the movie Jaws was suddenly in order and I started to swim a lap back over to the other side, crossing right over the deepest part again.] Duunnn dunnn… duuuunnnn duun…duuunnnnnnnn dun dun dun.. [expecting you to pop up at any moment, I laughed, letting the film’s score play out on my lips]
Peter:
-As soon as I hit the water, I started to head for you. But then your question rang through my mind again. And I was curious about going all the way to the bottom. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as cool as I hoped. Cold. Dark. Slimy mud. Meh. Turning my body around and aiming for the surface again. That small human part that still hung out in the back of my mind pointing out how much this would’ve fucked me up if I weren’t what I was now. And before long, I could see you swimming across my path, with a smirk, swimming even faster in a straight line for you. Then in the blink of an eye, my arms closing around you and yanking you into the water with me with a soundless laugh-
Tori:
[My gut was telling me you were close, long before you ever came into view and as I felt strong arms finally come up around me from down below, I sucked in that big breath right after that gasp of surprise left my lips.
Fighting that smile hard when you pulled me under, a million and one memories of us and a body of water in some form, came rushing to mind. That same look in your eyes that had been present then, was very much present now, and had been all morning since we arrived. In that instant it took for you to swallow me up whole like Jonah and the whale, I had my lips on yours in a kiss that rocked the ages, bringing us both back there in my mind and right back up to the surface for a much needed breath of fresh air. Only then did Rilla's bark come slicing through our morning like a hot knife through my cannabis butter, our boy was giving us both the what for and rightfully so as he waited patiently for us to give him the signal to jump, seeing the other little dog run up beside him, making it look super easy.] Tell him it's okay, mine. He's waiting for you!
Peter:
-the way you just rolled with all the shit I did only made me love you more as I held you tightly to me, kissing the hell out of you and thanking all that is holy that neither of us was particularly at risk for drowning. And when you finally brought us up to the surface I went ahead and took in a big gulp of air before eyeing you again. Fully prepared to pull you in for another kiss before Rilla’s barks break my focus and I turn to look at him with a chuckle. His stalky body vibrating with anticipation to jump in after us. Shooting you a look first- Amazing how obedient he can be sometimes isn’t it. -smirks with a wink before turning back to him and gesturing with my hand- Come, Rilla. -before I had even finished saying his name he was already flying through the air, all that muscle causing an impressive splash that has me turning my head briefly with a full fledged laugh when he hits the water-
Tori:
I think that's called selective hearing, mine. All men have it! [I laughed, the show before me one I would never forget as I watched it play out. Not only was Rilla our travel mate but our four legged friend here was family. And this trip was very much for him too. There was fun to be had by everyone and the swimming hole had proved that in the way Rilla took that jump once you gave him the go ahead to do so. Fearless now, nothing was holding him back in his quest to reach you and that fact alone had me laughing so damn hard. Even when he landed like a cannonball, causing those splashes to cover us both, I couldn't find it in me to care when I saw how happily he made a beeline for your arms. It was a look of sheer determination as he paddled his butt to you that had me calling out to him then, encouraging the big ole pup that he could do it. All the while, moving out of the way to allow the reunion to transpire without any further intrusion from me.] Come on, boy! You're almost there! [And he was. He really was only an arm's length away when I watched you gather him up and steer him in the direction to swim out. Showing him how it was done. The day had been one of summertime fun that began with a cooler packed full of goodies for our lunch that ended with full bellies and sun-kissed skin. A real scorcher in all that heat, where at night time, we found ourselves in cooler weather for an evening out to see some ghosts.]
Peter:
-If someone asked me what day would I choose to live over and over again up until this point, I would’ve picked today. But alas it had to come to an end. And now, we were cruising down the road again in that Led Zeppelin bus I had made sure to procure for this trip as a surprise to you. Glancing over at you, the excitement was radiating off of you and made me chuckle. I wasn’t totally sold on the existence of ghosts. But I figured if I could exist, and my maker was what she was, why the hell not? Besides it made you smile the way you were, and I’d do just about anything to make you do that- Was it this exit? Or the next?
Tori:
The next.. [Giving you a beaming smile, I took one last glance over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't dreaming still. We really were in the bus, our sights set on Arizona with New Mexico in our rear view. The Mother Road spoiled me already with cherished memories, a lifetime of gifts at my fingertips in the form of musical notes, filled the bus entertaining us on our drive. The sounds of the 70's filled the air and as I turned it up, singing along, I made sure it was your sweet love that was going to save me.]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4v8KEbQA8kw&feature=youtu.be
Peter:
-gives a nod as I pull into the exit lane, glancing over at you with a grin when you turn it up- Your music choice is on point for this leg of the trip, pretty bird. -moves one of my hands to rest on your thigh, giving a light squeeze as I listen to you sing-
Tori:
Well, I'm a-standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. Such a fine sight to see.. It's a girl, my Lord in a VW bus slowin' down to take a look at me.. [So I changed that last lyric to mimic our life in that moment. It just so happened to be true and as you rolled up throughtown to that round about stop, the squeeze I gave your hand back as it rested on my thigh, was one of childlike excitement almost as we came face to face with the statue of none other than, Glenn Frey.]
Did you know mine that technically it wasn't him standing on that corner.
It was originally another guy named Jackson. [Laughing then, I leaned over and pecked your cheek, that smile continuing to win out as a ton of stories came to mind that included the Eagles, starring my parents of course while you whipped the bus around to park.]
Peter:
-Your excitement was palatable as we pulled into town, and it was only upping my own to the point that I had to remind myself not to blow the speed limit trying to get you to that statue. As I spotted the glimmer from the sun bouncing off of it in the distance, I held my breath. My eyes flicking over to you so I could catch the moment you first spotted it. The way your face lit up, and you did that little bounce I loved so much had my heart swelling and me letting out a chuckle. Absentmindedly, I rolled to a stop near the statue, taking a good look at him as you offer up that little fact- Really? I didn't know that. -looks up in the rearview mirror when I finally hear a honk, quickly letting off the break and rolling again in search of a parking spot- I wonder how many times the locals have realized they had to drive past this spot and though, 'Damn it. I hope there's no tourists around,' because of exactly what I just did. -laughs-
Tori:
More times than they probably care to count. [Half hanging out the window when you pulled up, I could almost touch it when I heard that blare of the horn and I glanced back at the truck behind us. Giving them the finger when they finally pass, and you park the bus, I snuck a chance glance your way, only to find you already laughing at me.] Well, they should know people are going to stop! [There were already people lining up to snap pictures and I wanted one with the statue of Glenn too.] You take the picture and we just bum around. I figured we could stretch our legs before heading on. [Waiting until you had gotten out and came around to my side, I slip my hands around your waist once we got Rilla out and on his leash.] I also thought we could get a hotel room for the night too..
Peter:
-watches in amusement when you flip the guy off. My enhanced hearing picking up on the curse he shot back which just has me laughing even harder- He should. -glances in the direction of his disappearing truck and mumbles- Dick. -shoots you a wink before climbing out of the bus, rounding up a way too fucking excited Rilla, and getting his leash snapped in place, wrapping the arm that isn’t holding the leash around you- I’m sure we could find a good one around here. -smirks- Make some history or our own…
Tori:
Oh I like the sound of that! [Turning with you when we start down the sidewalk, Rilla now pulling us both along as I slip a hand into one of your back pockets to keep you close, I couldn't believe we had actually made it here. The sight of the corner store and the statue coming back into view with a few other tourists standing by, had me circling the park with you, wanting nothing more than to see what all the town had to offer us when the line died down long enough to grab my turn for a picture, giving you a beaming smile as I posed.]
PeePeter:
-keeps my arm wrapped around you as we explore, keeping an eye on the statue as we walked for when I can finally get a pic of you with it. And when the time was finally right, I may have gone a little overboard, snapping from multiple angles, and earning a few loud sighs from onlookers. Just as I was finally going to back off, Rilla pushed his way over there earning a loud laugh from me as I start taking pics again-
Tori:
Your turn too, boy! [Laughing loudly when you do, I see Rilla take center stage as he made his way over and I hunch down to pet on him, grabbing up his leash. Letting him sit pretty, I posed with him, my arm acting as a shoulder hanger with good ole Glenn playing the role of the farmer with the only thing missing being the pitch fork and you of course.] One more! [I meant it too as I motioned you over with a wave, the urgency in my voice matched that of the smile spreading across my lips when you finally came over, wanting to get all three of us in a few shots. My own version of American Gothic coming into play as the night started to fall upon us.] You about ready for a bowl, mine? We can stop for some snacks at that corner store on the way back to the bus! Find our room for the night..
Peter:
-We had an audience and I couldn’t be fucked to care. Not when it was you and that beautiful smile. So when you beckoned me over, I didn’t hesitate, rounding out the picture and snapping several more pics. For the grand finale, cupping your cheek and turning your head toward me so I can catch your lips in an impromptu kiss- You never have to ask, baby. The answer will always be yes when it comes to bowls, chocolate anything, sex, and you in general. -smirks, tucking my phone back in my pocket and taking your hand to lead you back toward the bus-
Tori:
[When you put it like that, how was I going to resist everything that was you? Especially when you named off all my favorite things, not in that particular order of course.] So weed, chocolate everything, sex and me. Those are all free passes? [The "You may pass Go and collect $200!" type of free passes and the more I thought about it, the more my body turned toward yours as we walked. A collection of soft whimpers against your ear at the mere mention of each one spurred that pep in your step to get us back to the bus and fast, with Rilla not complaining one bit as he dragged you along by his leash.] A bowl first then we can play the eat me, drink me game, mine.. [Smirking, I leaned up on my toes when we reached the bus, still very much in your embrace when your arm tightened around me at my words and I place a kiss just below your ear.]
Peter:
-It was only because I knew how much you liked this place and wanted to enjoy it more that kept me from ravaging you right there as you made those noises you knew damn well only fueled me. Still, I shot a glance around as we walked taking in how many people were actually around. And when we finally made it back to the bus, I let Rilla hop in as I kept one arm wrapped around you before wrapping the other around you too- I hope you know, Winslow, Arizona has now become one of my favorite places. -waits for you to pull back and look at me before slipping one of my hands into the back of your hair and pulling your lips to mine for a kiss that promised much, much more as soon as I could-
Tori:
[That kiss promised so much more alright! Swallowing those whimpers down, I finally pulled back from that kiss when a groan escapes me then, quickly morphing into a heartfelt laugh at the look on your face as I bring my hand up, fingers stroking your cheek now too.] I don't think you could ever tell me no, mine. Not really. I think you would try and just give in!

Road Trip (Leg 1, Part 2) Joy ride
Tori:
["This might be the longest couple of miles of my life." I had laughed softly at the time but looking back on it now, I couldn't help but think the sweetest memories always ended on a high note. It most certainly had that night and today? Well, it was no different. Looking up ahead, I had noticed the "sign" right off and made a mental note to ask you about it later once we were done with the tour. After parking way off in the somewhat secluded, not really, lot, we had both made our way up on top of the bus to smoke a bowl, taking in the view.
What I hadn't bet on was the fact that it was almost closing time. Letting you handle it, however, was the plan and I smirked, watching you jump down to go inside, figuring you slipped the owner a little cash to allow us a more private viewing if you will. Which was fine by me if I was honest.] That was quick! He really is going to let us go back alone? [No way.. The excitement was clear as day on my face when I moved to climb down and greet you properly, having watched you head back outside and up to the bus to give me the good news no doubt. It was the first attraction on our list and I, for one, couldn't wait to get inside with you.]
Peter:
-Closing time, smosing time. Fuck that! I had been looking forward to this stop. And it was happening. Either they would accept my bribe of one of the greens...or I would entice him in a more firm way. Either way, we were seeing this museum. Luckily, with a little feigned interest in his latest project, and a generous donation to the museum, he was happy to make an exception to stay open later while I showed my pretty bird around. Jogging back out to the bus, I knew my accomplished grin gave me away before I even reached her when she smiled at me like that. And damn if that didn’t make me even more glad that my plan was a success.- He is. -chuckles- No problem at all. -winks, reaching out to take your hand and guide you to the entrance-
Tori:
[giving your hand a squeeze, I strolled in with you, the biggest smile planted on my face it seemed when the first row of cars came into view.] Holy hell, mine. I want to take a look at all of them. [It was the truth and as I bounced up to the first one, I glanced over my shoulder with wide eyes.]
You don't think it's the Christine car do you? [Half joking, it would have been really cool if so and I started to read the description card they had on the stand before glancing around at the mile of cars.] Of all the ones here, is there one you really hope to see? [It was important to me that we got to see all the classics you had ever dreamed of touching. Maybe even sit behind the wheel of a few.]
Peter:
-Hangs back a little to watch your excitement, my grin spreading wider as I did. You always hear people saying that they fall more in love with someone every day. It always seemed cliche. Until now. It was true. Every day I found a new reason to be even more in love with you. This was my reason for today. Nothing was cooler than watching my hot woman getting just as excited about something that was so important to me. Your question finally pulling me out of my thoughts as I move closer to you, glancing around at the different cars around- Honestly? It would be badass if they had an all original Shelby Cobra.
Tori:
[So maybe I cheated a bit when we were planning this trip. Knowing just how much you loved that car, I knew I wanted to make it happen if I could. And in that moment, my own smile widened further as you looked around, spying the direction you were looking in and I grabbed your hand, pulling you along. The old school Chevys' and Fords, were a trip, the roadsters too. The hot rods, just like I remembered my dad telling me about.
As we walked, my heart began to speed up, seeing how close we were and even if it wasn't the exact original, it was close and seeing how the museum did me a solid when I rang them up, having it shipped from the museum in Springfield, I wanted to see the look on your face when it came into sight.] Maybe today is your lucky day.
Peter:
-I was drooling over one particular deep blue Chevy. Taking my time to inspect every line as my mind went wild with ideas on how I wanted to restore the one I just picked up a couple weeks ago. So lost in thought that I had almost forgotten about the Cobra. Still looking over my shoulder at that truck as you pulled me along until you mention my lucky day. Then I snapped my head to the front, my eyes zeroing in on the car straight ahead, the excitement of it even causing my eyes to darken a little as I let out a low whistle- Damn... -That was all I could muster as I made my way to it, squatting down to really eye that front end-
Tori:
[There was that look, that whistle next and I couldn't contain it any longer. I laughed, loudly which only served to bounce off the walls of the by now empty museum except for us. Walking up to where you had perched yourself practically, I was a ball of energy nearly burstingat the seams as I began reading the sign for us. Stopping when I see you staring at me out the corner of my eye in the process.]
1965, and they shipped it when I told them we would be visiting. All the way from Missouri. [It never failed, you would look at me like that and instantly I would want to spill my guts. I couldn't keep it a secret if I wanted to, not really. Blushing now, I laughed again and began walking around the car, sneaking a peek of you every now and again as you circled around it on the other side.] You want to drive it?
Peter:
-My brows shooting up in surprise when you mention it being shipped here from Missouri, my expression awed as I looked at you again- You are incredible. You know that? -grins wide again as I continue circling the car. Only to stop short, my eyes flicking up to you again at your question- What? -I had heard you. But my brain wasn’t processing. With a look over my shoulder to make sure we weren’t being watched, I briefly wondered if you were implying helping ourselves-
Tori:
[Lifting a shoulder in a slight shrug, I flashed you another bright smile, gently resting my hands on the passenger side door as I leaned a little inside it, peering around as I spoke.] I mean, a little spin in that back parking lot could be fun.. [Looking up just in time to see you leaning in too, I bite my lip and reach out to stroke your cheek.] Or maybe a trip down the RT 66 strip.
[We wouldn't be gone long, right? I was already pulling back reluctantly, but only to open the door, seeing the keys already in the ignition for us.] Get in.. You can at least start it up while you think about it.. [There from the passenger seat, I ran my arm along the back of the seat and smiled wider, enticing you further to join me.] How fast can this baby go, mine?
Peter:
-With a shrug of my own, I climbed into the car, savoring the feel of the soft leather seat cradling me in place, and running my hands over the steering wheel. Shooting you a smirk before cranking the ignition and nearly moaning at the deep purr of the engine- You ready? -Leans to place a tender kiss to your lips before putting it in gear and easing my way out of the spot, careful not to get too close to any of the other cars on my way down the aisle-

Road Trip (Leg 1, Part 1)
Tori:
[How long had I been out for? One second, we were loading up the van, cooler stocked with all our favorites, and the next, we’re driving up through Texas to begin the most epic road trip vacation of a lifetime. The conversation that led to it was still fresh on my mind as I came to and looked around, thinking back to that night and seeing the open road first thing, well I couldn't help the smile that seemed to grow wider on my lips. We had it all planned out since late winter, the first day of spring much too cold for my liking so we opted to wait for just a bit warmer temperatures before making our departure. It couldn’t have been any more perfect if you asked me. And seeing how it wasn’t that long ago that we celebrated the holiday proper, I was still feeling somewhat stoned from the joint I had smoked earlier with @PeterKnowsShit, so I was stuck on pretty bird wasted row. The fact that we were even here on this trip together wasn't lost on me either as I took the opportunity to gaze upon him as he stretched out behind the wheel of our own personal tour bus. Our first stop along our planned getaway was in none other than Santa Rosa, New Mexico. All those cars instantly come to mind when that familiar rumble makes itself known in my stomach, busting me with the munchies hitting me hard and I have no choice but to laugh.] Can we stop for a big gulp? I’m sure Rilla needs to go to. [As if on cue, I see Rilla pop up from the back and I reach over the seats to love on him.] Yeah, beef jerky too. Some ho-hos and Dorito’s.
Peter:
-I must’ve glanced over at @MyJokersWild a million times while we were driving. She was so damn beautiful. Inside and out. I couldn’t believe that after all the bullshit I had endured in this long ass life of mine, there really was someone that was just so effortless perfect for me. Shit people usually got pissed about didn’t even phase her. For the first time since I could remember, I could be completely myself. Which brought us to this road trip. The vintage tour bus we were driving wasn’t the fastest thing on wheels. But that’s not what this trip was about. My pretty bird enjoyed the laid back life. Which made this casual amble of the bus perfect for what we needed. Lost in my musings, I didn’t even notice that she had woken until she spoke. Flicking my eyes from the road over to her, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the bond between her and Rilla before jerking my chin in the direction of the sign- You’re in luck, baby. There’s a little town not to far off. I’m sure they’ve got all of the above for us.
Tori:
[Seeing the sign up ahead, I laughed hearing Rilla howl in the back and turned to scratch between his ears, giving him some more love as you took the exit.] And what goodies does my Peter Pan want? [The day had turned to night and when you rolled to a stop at the pumps, I was quick to attach Rilla's leash before turning my attention back to you, watching you kill the engine.] Since you've done most of the driving, I'll treat you to anything you want. [Leaning in close now, I pressed a soft kiss to your lips, unable to contain my excitement that we were really here when I hear Rilla whine this time, knowing he wouldn't wait much longer.]
Peter:
-pulls to a stop in front of the pump, turning to face you with a smirk- Anything? -drops my eyes to your chest briefly before bringing them back up to yours- If I get what I really want...we aren’t gonna make it to see shit. -winks- But I will take a cherry coke. -pats Rilla with a chuckle- Extra Doritos too. You know my love of them.
Tori:
You got it. Cherry coke, extra Doritos and me naked! Coming right up! [If you thought I was joking, I clearly wasn't when I popped another quick kiss to your lips, whispering.] I'll let you motorboat them when I get back. [Hopping out with a smirk of my own, I slid the side open just in time to see Rilla bust out, barely gathering up his leash when he did and I take off with him to pay and go for his walk. Thinking a peek around the place was in order once I restocked our favorites, mentally adding a few of your favorite candy bars to the list.]
Peter:
-the cocky smirk I had going on falling from my face at your words, while my eyes do some falling of their own right to your chest, and sitting there completely stupified until you’ve slipped out of the bus. Even then, watching after you as you run off with Rilla then muttering to myself- Fucking hell... -shakes my head to clear my thoughts before letting myself out of the bus to pop the gas cap-
Tori:
[When Rilla wasted no time with his potty break, I smiled leading him inside the store with me, calling out to the night clerk as I went to turn the pump on for you so we could gas up. Making my way down the aisle of every miscellaneous pit stop "find" you could think of, I
noticed the hats first thing, that bounce in my step had me gathering up our treats for the next leg of our trip rather fast when I saw the clerk eying Rilla, which was followed up with a "You can't bring him in here." when I arrived at the counter.] I most certainly can but
as you can see he walked in. I didn't bring him anywhere. [Flashing a bright smile, I reached up at the last minute to snatch one of the hats that caught my eye hanging above before he could protest further.] Oh and the gas too. [Fishing the cash out of my back pocket to pay,
I nodded when he handed me back my change, bagging up our snacks and I place the sodas on top, sporting my new hat now.] See that wasn't so bad! [Turning on my heel, I walked out with our bags, Rilla leading the way to greet you when you came into view.] I got me a new hat! [Laughing when I see your face, I gave a slight shrug. What might seem silly to some, wasn't to me and I planned on buying every little trinket and silly hat along the way but you knew that too.] How many more miles until we stop for the night? I think there's a camp up the road.
Peter:
-the way the jewels in that hat sparkled in the lights, it caught my attention right away. I let out a low chuckle, cocking a brow at you when you walked up- I can see that. -pats Rilla’s head as he nudged my leg with his nose while making a show of raking my eyes over your entire body slowly- Yep, only you could make a gas station hat look that hot. -shoots you a wink before pulling the nozzle from the tank and plopping it back into its spot, glancing over my shoulder in the direction we’re headed at your question then twisting the cap back on our gas tank and flicking the door shut- Yeah? You wanna stop there for the night then?
Tori:
That depends on how quickly you want me just wearing this hat.. [I couldn't help it with the way your eyes seemed to roam, drinking me in as you were and I stepped right into your personal space to place a kiss to your neck, peppering that visual with a quick nip to your skin there before I wagged my brows, letting Rilla into the bus with our bags.] The map shows camp grounds up ahead and I thought we could park there for the night. See the museum tomorrow.. Besides, you need some rest too, right? [Smirking now, I knew what was really on your mind and I didn't need your gift to see that sleep wasn't it.] Maybe a stroll to stretch your legs once we get there might be in order.
Peter:
-I didn’t know how you did it. But you always seemed to turn the tables on me. And my brows were now sky high as you read my mind perfectly. The visual of you in nothing but the hat along with that nip to my skin causing me to let out a low growl- Camping soon. -clears my throat with a nod- Definitely soon. -Then you added in the stretching my legs part which had my imagination running wild, my eyes darkening as it did. And it was all I could do not to toss your ass over my shoulder and carryyou into the bus- I plan to let out all my pent up energy from being stuck behind the wheel...
Tori:
Do you now? You plan on chasing me too? [Oh, I was tempting you big time with all that teasing. I knew it too as I winked and nipped at your lips before backing away. That fight or flight response, if I was honest, was always flight where you were concerned and only for the simple reason that it gave way to that chase.. The thought of you doing just that had my ass in gear then, getting into the bus only to feel your hand slap my ass with that low growl of yours before I made it right inside and I laughed hard.] Just two miles up the road, mine. Think I can strip faster than you can drive? [If there ever was a challenge accepted, this was it and I saw it plain as day in your eyes as you got in finally, starting the bus. The campgrounds just within our grasp as the night sky opened up with all those beautiful stars.]
Peter:
-That slow amble the bus drove that I was relishing before? Now, it was biting me in the ass. If I wasn’t so focused on the challenge, or the thought of a sexy naked woman possibly being next to me in the next few seconds, I might’ve laughed at the look on the guy at the next pump’s face as I attempted to peel out in that bus. As I held the pedal firmly to the ground, hands gripping the wheel, my eyes continually flicked over to you, hoping to catch any glimpse- This might be the longest couple of miles of my life.

Thank fuck for dogs... ( @MyJokersWild )
Peter:
-For someone who knows shit, I sure spent a lot of time not knowing shit. I never knew the shit I WANTED to know. Like when a sexy naked woman was about to come walking through the kitchen like that. It would’ve been helpful for a lot of things. Like maybe I could’ve refrained from taking that bite that just had me choking and sputtering like a moron. Or maybe I could’ve done something a lot cooler than an impression of a fish out of water while I watched her. Hell, maybe I could’ve done something smooth like have an extra spoon waiting, and whipped it out at just the right time. Or maybe… The smirk that took over as my mind went wild was a wicked one. And just like that, the room was way too fucking hot. And I was way too fucking not high. With one more look at the door where she disappeared, I forced myself to go out the back door to the greenhouse. If I didn’t get out and get some fresh air ASAP, my ass was going to go after her-
Tori:
[It had to be Rilla. There was no way you would have sent him after my towel like that. Right? It had been one hell of a trip so far and while I had stood there yanking the clothes out of the washer and putting them into the dryer, I just so happen to hear the slam of the backdoor as that laugh of mine left my lips with a half hearted shake of my head towards Rilla.] So which is it? You flying solo on this or did he put you up to it? [The temperature was in the low 70's for a Saturday night, having the window open hadn't been the norm but the closer it got to the first day of Spring, the more I would spend time on the roof. And that meant my voice carried.] Rilla, really? [Sure, I was teasing but I had to smirk, giving the four legged family member wink too.] He's going to let you take the wrap like that..? No way..
Peter:
-I couldn’t get the image of you out of my head. There was a pull I had already been feeling toward you that outshone any pull I had ever felt before. And this just increased it ten fold. As I propped myself up on one of the tables, taking a long toke from my joint as I stared at the house. I had hoped that distance and a joint would kill the urge to go after you. But it wasn’t. Not at fucking all...-
Tori:
Okay, okay! I'll let you out. Go get him, Rilla. [Laughing once again, I couldn't help myself. You left in such a hurry, feet carrying you swiftly out the door like a man on a mission, that it didn't occur to me that maybe the sight of yours truly, might have made things a tad awkward. Had I really been that off on all the signs? Baked or not, there had been something going on with you. There was an energy that seemed to buzz around you that went unspoken about and honestly I had thought it was funny, the look on your face.] Oh Gods.. [Even so, I figured the greenhouse was calling your name but when Rilla wouldn't stop being persistent in getting out the door to you, I made quick work of pulling the white top over my head, covering my naked form with my panties being next. With my good enough once over, I was well on my way of hitting the door but not before pausing to snatch up a handful of fruit loops when the faint scent of your signature blend hit my senses. Opening the back door, I smirked as it only became stronger and stronger and I watched Rilla run up ahead to find you.]
Peter:
-I hadn’t even turned on the back light when I came out to the greenhouse. So when I saw it flick on my heart jumped and there I was pulling that pausing act as I stared intently at the door, secretly hoping to catch another glimpse of you with nothing on. And blowing out a slow, disappointed breath when you’re not before chuckling at myself. My brain finally starting to function, I jump off the table I was propped up on and swung the door open, giving Rilla a pat on the head as he runs up to me before looking back at you when you reach us, unable to help the way my eyes still trail over your body as I hold out the joint in my hand for you- Did you get cold? -smirks-
Tori:
Not really. It was more for your benefit than my own. [There you were smirking and handing that joint over. Having let myself inside the greenhouse, I was quick to notice the eerie silence first, followed by your lingering gaze on my thighs until it shot up finally to greet my eyes, second. You had finally came into view with Rilla beside you and as I took my first hit, I held it for the longest before exhaling it slowly.] I thought maybe I scared you off.. [Taking a look around the space, that smirk I sported was still present as I took my next hit and handed the joint back to you, finally crouching down to pet on Rilla again.] But.. He seems to think you deserve the opportunity to explain yourself. Since you put him up to taking my towel.
Peter:
-thank fuck I hadn’t actually put the joint to my lips when you made that statement. Otherwise I would be right back to that moronic sputtering bit. I wasn’t able to stop the way my eyes briefly widened though, and hoped like hell you hadn’t caught it. Choosing to avoid that statement and play it cool, I casually shrug one shoulder instead- If you’re more comfortable naked, I won’t stop you. -shoots you a wink as I finally bring the joint back to my lips for a proper hit now-
Tori:
Oh really? [I quirked my own brow, surprised by your nonchalant manner in which you gave the go ahead. Giving Rilla one last scratch behind his ears, I bent down and whispered, letting him off the hook when he took off, leaving us to our own devices then. It was in that moment that I turned to face you and tugged the white top over my head, tossing it on the table behind you.] Even right now? [I was calling your bluff and as I moved to stand directly before you, I pluck the joint from your fingers as I felt a soft brush of your hair against my skin]
Peter:
-my feelings were conflicted when it started to become apparent you were going to call my bluff. There was a part of me that was thrilled at the idea of seeing all of you again. And then there was the rational part of me that knew I wasn’t going to be able to behave for very long. Before I could think much of it though, you were topless in front of me again. And just as quickly invading my space. Acting instinctually, my arm shot out, hand landing at the small of your back as I held you right where you were with a wicked smirk- Mm...but you still have those on. -to illustrate my point, my hand slides down a little further, thumb hooking in the hem of your panties and giving the slightest pull-
Tori:
Go ahead, I won't stop you.. [While brief, that smirk turned into a sly smile, at the use of your own words against you. As I teased a bit, I did some toying of my own when it came to running my free hand now up under that shirt. Maybe it was the effects of the high combined helps with tending to the plants. [It wasn't just an excuse to get your shirt off. I firmly believed it helped with making the grow process run smoother. At least that's what I told myself just then as I wagged my brows.]
Peter:
-swallows roughly at your words. You said them so damn casually, and I was well aware of how comfortable with nudity you were. The smirk that crossed my lips again had me thankful you couldn’t read my mind. Or you’d know some shit I wasn’t sure I was ready to confess just yet. But there was also a part of me that was really hoping that you meant more than that. And damn if that wasn’t another new feeling that was cropping up. Taking you at your words, I gave another firm tug at your panties, just enough until they were to a point where they could fall on their own to the ground. Then before you can make another move, I brought my hand to the hem of my own shirt, tugging it over my head and tossing it haphazardly over my shoulder in the direction of yours, popping my brows at you- In the name of good growing, right?
Tori:
Of course, to good growing. [That lip rolled between my teeth then as I nodded before it formed that smirk again, Seeing that shirt go flying, I let my gaze do some wandering, lingering really on your chest too while my panties found the floor and I stepped out of them. Now fully naked, that joint was long gone and I can't help but reach up to pull another one free from my hair. This time, holding it to your lips for you to take hold of.] And other things. [I left the rest unsaid, sliding my hand into your front pockets, in search of your lighter]
Peter:
-“And other things...” So maybe there was more. And that earned a grin before I caught the joint between my lips, my hand stopping its naturally path to my pocket when you begin to dig. I was well aware you could probably feel now what you were doing to me. But I couldn’t find it in me to care right now as I watched your face for any sign of recognition. I let you dig for a couple more seconds before finally speaking around the joint- Right pocket.
Tori:
You sure? [I caught sight of that all knowing grin as I continued my search, thinking "Alright Tor, enough teasing" when I slip my hand free to light the joint finally. Watching you take that first hit, I pondered my next words carefully. How long had I been back now? A while it felt like and this push pull vibe I got from you could only mean one thing. Not to mention the physical aspect of what I just felt pressed against wicked fingers.] You know, I'm keeping your spoon. I'm never giving it back now. [I smiled warmly and took a step back, letting you toke it all in, literally.] Unless you don't want me to have it but something tells me that you do. [I kept walking backwards, pulling you forward with me as my smile grew even wider.] Am I wrong?
Peter:
-Damn, you were beautiful. That’s all I could think as I allowed you to pull me along, my eyes unapologetically taking you. So lost in thoughts of that that I nearly missed you were asking me a question. Snapping my eyes back up to yours I offered you a lazy grin- No, you’re not wrong. I want you to have my spoon. -pops my brows with a smirk- It was inevitable that you took it...
Tori:
[My Gods, that damn smirk.. You let me pull you along by the hand, toking on that joint with your other until I paused in front of a couple of the plants you had stored there. Waiting for you to come to a stop in front of me again, I saw that look in your eyes and I reached up for the joint, taking it from you.] I like to think so. I mean there you were and you weren't really using it anymore. Not really.. [Smirking now, you actually had been holding it to your lips when you saw me but we both knew in this moment right now, we weren't really talking about the spoon. Taking my own hit finally, I took it upon myself to wrap my arms around your neck, finally feeling my skin pressed against your chest and I turn my head just so to exhale slowly.] Do you promise to always share your cereal with me?
Peter:
-as soon as your arms come around my neck, I waste no time wrapping my own around you, nodding seriously as I keep my gaze locked with yours- I promise. -offers you another lazy grin- As long as you want my cereal, it’s yours.
Tori:
[Placing a soft kiss over your heart, I lift my gaze back to yours after doing so with a warm smile this time.] For keeps, Peter Pan. [I held your gaze for the longest, feeling the effects of that second joint wash over me and hummed low, letting my head fall back as I hung in your arms.] I'll share mine too. Last question.. What about the blanket on your bed? Will you share that? [Okay, so technically that was two but you didn't seem to notice it when I all but hopped up to wrap my legs around your waist, smirking as I waited for your answer..]
Peter:
-my lazy grin turning into a wide one when you kiss over my heart, sliding my hands to your bare ass when you jump up, wrapping your legs around me- I’ll share any damn thing you want with you, pretty bird. -winks at that nickname, one of my hands moving to lightly cup the back of your head and pull your lips to mine for a slow, meaningful kiss, the whole time thinking how fucking glad I was that this night turned out the way it had-

Intro
-I sat on the porch, offering a wave to @WishMeAgain as she climbed into the car with her friends, watching as the dirt dissipated when their car disappeared down the gravel pathway. Bringing the joint back to my lips, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much that kid had changed my life. I chuckled quietly to myself as I realized she wasn’t much of a kid anymore. But as cliche as it sounded she was always going to be my little girl. With a smirk I looked down at the joint in my hand- When the fuck did I breed all this emotional shit into this strain? -shaking my head, I tossed it in the tray on the side table as I leaned back in my chair with my mind wandering. This wasn’t exactly how I had envisioned my life all those years ago. I always thought I’d be just like my old man. Wife, kids, land, shop. Nothing hugely unique or special, but a good life all the same. I was well on my way to it too. I was set to take over my pop’s shop. And everyone assumed I’d end up with Linda. I was even planning on asking her out that fateful day. But then I had met @OfUndeadWings and everything went sideways.
The attraction to her was instant and burning. It was like being under the worst of fucking spells. Although at the time, I didn’t see it as a bad thing. She was dark and mysterious. And fuck if she wasn’t the most beautiful creature I had ever set eyes on. I was willing to give it all up for her. And I did. Despite @DemuirgicDorian’s warning. That fucker couldn’t resist those guardian tendencies even toward a man who had essentially replaced him to @UndeadWings. Unfortunately, he was her ex. And therefore my dumbass assumed he was just being a jealous prick. The friendship that started out with me punching his ass and telling him to fuck off. Then doing the exact thing he warned me against. And that was the hardest fucking thing to swallow. He had been so damn right. It wasn’t long after I let her turn me that she moved on to the next in her collection. Leaving me high and dry to watch as my family buried a symbolic coffin for the son that they assumed was dead. Watching my mother break down graveside was the worst fucking thing I had ever exerienced in my life. And probably the final straw that caused me to snap.
I left Texas completely to avoid the temptation to get too close to my family. Even if I tried it would have ended badly. I was an abomination now in their eyes. My mother believing that I was dead was a far better option to her knowing what had really happened. I was bitter and angry as fuck. I engulfed myself in the darkest of desires. Sex, drugs, and blood. Lots of blood. I was feral and out of control. @DemuirgicDorian tried to intervene there too. Nearly got his ass torn apart by me yet again in the process. But what he said hit home. “Is this what you want your mother to see when she looks down on you?” Motherfucker and his stupid one line wise ass words. That rolled around in my brain for weeks before I finally decided it was time to return to Texas. My family had long since died off, and I had only been back a few times. One of them to sell a majority of the land my family owned off to @AToxicMind.
Luckily even then I had the presence of mind to save a small chunk for myself. Maybe I always knew deep down inside that I would end up back here. And slowly, little by little I came back to the person I was. Or a modified version of that person. I set myself up on my land, and opened up my own shop. I even had a greenhouse where I could experiment with all different strains of bud. But best of all, thanks to @AToxicMind bringing @WishMeAgain into our lives, I got a taste of that family I always thought I’d have. Eventually I officially adopted her and we became our own little weird ass family with way too many animals including the goat she named Hongry. I did what I could to give her the life she deserved. And she kept me more in touch with my old self. And with that final thought, the munchies made themselves known. Standing with a stretch, I casted one last look down the driveway before heading inside to find myself some grub-
