Online friendship is seeing that your buddy sent you a discord message saying "free horse corpse" at 4:43 am, and needing to process what the fuck that means before putting together that they were replying to something you sent them at 7:30 pm yesterday.

The Tapestry: The Red Winter Book Review (by Henry H. Neff)

How to sum up a book filled with such calamity, tragedy, and sacrifice?
To start, this book easily portrays how people can choose to be a force for good, or a force for evil. Everyone has the ability to be one or the other, but it is by our own actions that we become who we are.
This book series has always fascinated me. The complexity of the magical world with Celtic, Egyptian, Christian, and more magic and rituals combined into one magical practice. I love how the antagonist isn't only a super-powered human or mystic, he is something else entirely. A demon. Which is far more terrifying.
The Red Winter, the fifth and final book in the series, shows how bad things can happen in life and there are real consequences to them. And even if you have the power, you can't just turn back time and erase it.
Endings, though sad, will come.
This was a beautifully written conclusion the The Tapestry series. One of the few final books in a series that imbue a sense of contentment in the reader. I'll shout to anyone who'll listen about how amazing this series is. There's nothing like it. It's truly in a league of its own.

Me when I die in the fires of 2012 and I am so repulsed by the fact that I was killed as collateral in BLi’s conquest that I use my literal last breath to manifest a deity through the waves/space-time continuum to make sure people’s souls will be protected from imprisonment in the power grid 😍 Also she gives me a second chance at life. And we’re in Phoenix Arizona.

A one-handed sorcerer, an angsty demigod, and a little faerie queen.
My drawing of my favorite trio from the Tapestry series by Henry Neff. I love these books so much. Fanart cross-posted on my Instagram @aliceart_26

Thinking in the new year I work on a script type thing for a Tapestry series. I truly think it would fill the void of Harry Potter.
Personally always preferred Tapestry over HP, but what do I know.
Anyway I’ll have to reread the series and probably do some actual research into like the mythology they mention so I can have a better understanding. I think I’ll be posting little script pages here so other can use it who have way better animating or even actual filming skills than me.
