Messaging people for the first time is so hard. What am I supposed to say? Like, "You seem really odd and your blog intrigues me. Do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters?" What! Whatever. I will just follow you back and stare at your blog with my big beautiful brown eyes.

I saw the show about a month ago in Philly, and didn’t have tumblr at the time, but I now feel the need to talk about it (more specifically about Grantaire lol) because my god was it incredible. Kyle Adams’ played him flawlessly. His disregard for presenting traditionally masculine, the joking mask to cover for his deep cynicism, his reaction to Gavroche’s death, and the extremely well built dynamic between him and Enjolras (Devin Archer at the time) was incredible. I was lucky enough to meet him after the show (and give him a piece of writing I had done which I hope he read and didn’t hate lmao), and he was super kind then too. So overall, INCREDIBLY done, I genuinely could not have imagined a better performance of that role.
